Hangry Planet is North America’s first fully plant-based and health-conscious convenience store combined with a gas station, offering a unique shopping experience focused on sustainability and animal rights. The store features a wide variety of snacks, including many familiar brands with new flavors and options you might not see elsewhere. It also offers grab-and-go meals, pastries, healthy snacks, ice cream, and beverages such as beer and wine, all with a focus on vegan and dairy-free choices. The business is committed to giving back, donating 11% of proceeds to schools, orphanages, animal protection initiatives, and sustainability efforts. Customers appreciate the variety of products and the ease of shopping without the need to read ingredient lists, making it a stress-free stop for vegans and health-conscious individuals. The store’s concept is seen as a positive effort to promote animal cruelty prevention and sustainability, with some noting that their purchases support these causes. Visitors have enjoyed browsing the selection, which includes both traditional snack foods and healthier options like vegan scones. The presence of a vegan food truck outside adds to the appeal, although some find the offerings more indulgent than health-focused. While most reviews are positive, some mention minor issues such as a confusing car wash experience or limited healthy options. Overall, Hangry Planet is recognized for its innovative approach, offering a convenient, vegan-friendly alternative to traditional gas stations and convenience stores. It’s a place for quick snacks, fuel, and supporting ethical causes, rather than a destination for a full meal or fine dining.
Loved the uniqueness of this place. The decor especially on the outside made it feel even more like the only place of it's kind in North America. The donuts were perfect and delicious! Updated from previous review on 2026-04-04

This place is amazing. I went through the car wash and it had amusement park decor and vegan facts. You can tune in the radio at 90.1 fm for more vegan facts. Got a breakfast sandwich, a cookie and jerky. I would come here all the time if I lived nearby. Updated from previous review on 2026-02-25

They keep adding more decor to draw attention and give it a roadside appeal. I think that’s pretty cool and they donate money from gas station and car washes to charity. Throughout the shop is vegan activism messages which is super cool it makes veganism accessible Updated from previous review on 2026-02-16
