I work in the airline industry, which requires taxing conditions such as laboring long hours on the backside of the clock. The conditions we are exposed to challenge a person’s physiology. People in this industry are not looking for opulence, just simply a retreat to relax and recharge. Hotel Aura possesses all of the creature comforts that we utilize in a clean, comfortable environment. Operated by a friendly staff and all topped off with a fair price, what more could you ask for?

Great place for the price if you just need to stay the night to catch a flight at SFO. Breakfast is included: waffles, various types of bread, yogurt, boiled eggs, coffee, and a few juices. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport as well. Rooms were clean. Shower pressure pretty good, as well.

The staff made this place very friendly staff, good rooms with a good bed, shower very clean and has a good shuttle service to the airport, will stay again.

Stay one night after arriving in the evening. It’s good that the hotel offered airport shuttle service. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient with our check in. The room was spacious and clean. You got everything you need, no complaints. There’re Asian restaurants just walking distance. Overall a good choice for airport travel.

I stayed for one night at this hotel, the staff were so so nice, especially Jo, she helped me store my luggage at their office while I go explore SF and waiting for my flight, she also gave me change to take the bus and told me the route I should be taking. Very thoughtful and warm-hearted lady. I 100% recommend this place!

This hotel was great! Friendly staff, love Jocelyn ??, super kind and helpful. Free shuttle to the airport (detailed and on-time scheduling) and complimentary breakfast! Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would've loved to be able to watch on YouTube/Netflix but other than that, the channels were fine. Would recommend :)

Paid $60+ for Uber rides to and from the airport because the shuttle service wouldn't start early enough or open late enough for me to utilize. The rooms don't have bottled water, like most hotels in this price range. The hotel has an old, outdated vibe in the hallways. There isn't a water bottle filling station anywhere on the 2nd or 3rd floor. The lady at the front desk was short with me but after realizing I was a Google local guide, quickly changed her tone; good service is for every customer, not just reviewers.
Bathrooms in the room are good, clean, and new and the rooms are high ceiling and spacious. Fridge and microwaves too so that's a huge plus. TV is big and Samsung, and has good channels.

We booked this the day before our flight out of SFO. We wanted something convenient to the airport with shuttle included along with breakfast, this hotel fit the bill! The room was nice and clean, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was continental, filling and quick as we wanted something fast. The shuttle was a big life saver, the staff told us when and where to catch it which was right outside the hotel. The shuttle took us directly to the airport by our terminal in plenty of time for our flight. I would definitely use this hotel again if ever visiting San Francisco. 5 stars!!
Rooms: Very clean and comfortable.
Food and drinks: The continental breakfast was fast and filling.
Noteworthy details: The airport shuttle impressed me, got us to the airport on time.

Stayed here on 8/15/2024. Staff is friendly but our room experience was awful. The carpet smelled musty like a dirty vacuum cleaner. The walls are thin. We were awakened by rude guests above us at around 11:30PM - we had to call the front desk for assistance, but not sure if they did anything. You could here the conversations vividly among this big group of people who also dropped heavy things on their floor (our ceiling!!), and unfortunately the plumbing noise as well was very bothersome as they used the bathroom.

As an architect specialized in sustainable home renovations and in the hotel sector in Barcelona Spain, I've truly appreciated the quality of Hotel Aura.
Here a list of why you should chose this hotel: top quality of beds (cozy, big and tall), superb cleanliness, great location for visiting San Francisco 1 day and start road trip later, orange-ginger soaps and lotions helped us relax after a long amazing day in the city, complete and diverse breakfast ? (waffles, bagels with cream cheese, toasts, yogurts, fruit, cereals, juices, porridge and good coffee), free shuttle to airport ?, incredible and attentive service from Jo, Parvina, Rod and Maria (also cleaning team that we've met in the elevator, they do an amazing job!).
As an architect in Barcelona specialized in renovations, I have to say the maintenance of the rooms, facade and bathrooms is very well done. You can tell they run a quite complete maintenance once a year (even the fire staircase was just painted!).
Congrats to all the team. This has been a great stay! 100% recommended!
