On top of the price gouging, expired products and VERY rude and unprofessional at the register.

I purchased an item online for pick-up at the Ace Hardware within the store, and the pick-up went smooth. It turned out that I did not need the items, and when I attempted to return them, multiple people in the store told me that since it was an online order, the in-store pick-up was merely a "convenience," and they do not return items. After spending months in back and forths with Ace customer service, it turns out that the only way to return an online order is to the store the items were picked up in, which I was refused multiple times to return these items, well within the return window. I am still getting the runaround from Ace, and Ace has told me that since there is nothing their customer service can do, to contact the manufacturer of the item to get the items returned. I will update if anything comes of this, but Ace is not a company I will shop with again, and most definitely not at this store given the hoops I have had to jump through trying to return unopened items. EDIT: Returned to the store after contacting the manufacturer of the product. The manufacturer said they could not return the item, but contacted the store on my behalf and spoke to the manager. The manager of the store said they would ship the items back to the warehouse with a note given to me that they were shipped back, with no receipt of the return. A different manager (they have separate managers for Ace and for Mollie Stone's), re-contacted customer service, and finally was able to return the items. Still not happy, with the runaround I was given for several months between the store and customer service, and how there is no accountability that the store can be held to by their corporate headquarters, and not happy that there is no way for corporate to be able to return items independent of the store. What I learned: if you buy online and ship to the store (free), the store and only the store can initiate the return. If you buy online, but ship directly to your home (which you have to pay for), the online store is supposed to be able to perform returns. Very deceiving.

Love Mollie Stone except for the Peet’s coffee shop inside … they’re not friendly and rude! Good thing Starbucks is around the corner

Their deli section is my favorite. Fresh soups, sandwiches and salads.

It's fine - an older Mollie Stone's. Unlike the store in Burlingame, this one doesn't seem to have my favorite French butter (Rodolphe Le Meunier), which is a bummer.

Cons:Way OVER-PRICED & MORE EXPENSIVE than Safeway or Luckys. Their prices are a rip-off.Customer Svc sucks. I dont think the cashiers are happy working there. The pros:Specialty products & fresh produce.

Mollie Stone’s Market is regular grocery store with a Ace Hardware inside also. Never seen that combination before, I was a bit surprised that the hardware side was so well equipped. The grocery side is like any Safeway Or lucky store the prices are a bit higher though. It the only place I can get a power drill and soda pop at the same time.

My family stopped shopping here, and when I recently moved back to San Bruno, I wondered why? Now I know why. Today, 8/13 between 12 and 12:15PM, my nephew and I went to the deli and dealt with an extremely rude, short woman with short silver hair. Her back was turned to us the entire time and we waited alongside a gentleman who arrived shortly after us. When another employee came to help us, the woman with the silver hair turned around and began raising her voice—insisting that he came before us and should be helped first, even while the gentleman insisted otherwise and wanted us to be helped first! I taught my nephew a valuable lesson though—I put my hands up and calmly said—no worries buddy, I don’t want these people making my food anyway. And as a result—we took our business to Lunardi’s. I was astonished to have an interaction like that considering most people there have always been helpful and kind in the past. Thank you for the valuable lesson for my nephew, Mollie Stones—he learned that your dollar makes a difference where it is spent. Our family will take our business to Lunardi’s and Oceana Market from now on.

Went to Mollie Stone's San Bruno just now because Im craving for cherries. Just walking distance to our house. Paying for 2 regular pack of cherries. Price indicated on the stand was a very tiny $9.99. Cashier was asking me to pay $45.00. She said it's $9.99/pound. I just didn't buy them and left. I CAN BUY THOSE SAME PACK OF CHERRIES AT COSTCO FOR $14.00.

Dear Head Office: Today, the clouds parted and the Sun came out, Gaby was at the Deli Counter!!! Thank heavens, we've got tickets for the show at Stern Grove in the City and Gaby's Molly Stones sandwiches are The Bomb! A great picnic is guaranteed. How so great? (1) Gaby WORKS hard, she LAYERS the meat and cheese: for the Italian combo, she puts on Mortadelo, then salami, then more Mortadelo, then more salami and provolone throughout. That way the flavors are mixed, it doesn't taste like a slab of bologna on top of a slab of salami. Then she cut the sandwiches in half and wrapped each half separately, so would work at a picnic, fantastic. (2) Gaby KNOWS! When I first came in, I asked for an Italian combo, and she delivered. I felt like I was a North Beach in the city, only it was better than most! (3) Gaby is NICE and she CARES: She makes a point of getting to know her regular customers and looks out for them. Don't eat that, it's only coming out so so today, eat this instead you'll enjoy it more. Amazing, fantastic, wonderful

Excellent food, service and ambiance. Speaking as an out of town visitor they have everything I could possibly need and more. A perfect spot for a health conscience individual wanting to get in and out. Top notch five stars highly recommend.

Molly Stone's is a treat to shop out. Yes it's $$$ but the quality is excellent and you can find a wide selection of items that are hard to find elsewhere.

My favorite grocery store and more! May be a bit pricey but you get quality meats, vegetables , product and service!!! Once you shop here, you will understand and see for yourself. You will never see expired items or bad fruits / veggies either!
