Overall decent hotel. Kind front desk and inside is pretty nice for 2.5star hotel.
One thing to note is just know airport shuttle is free but shared with three other hotels. So it gets very packed in the shuttle.

The only downside is the shuttle. YOU have to wait 2 HOURS before you can get picked up at the airport. Going to the airport, the shuttle packed you up like sardines that you have to hold your own luggage in your lap. Poor customer service!!!!

I just spent 4 nights at the Aluxor Hotel in San Bruno. Once we got past the issue with the shuttle service it was smooth sailing! The check in process was a breeze, thankfully! The accommodating gentleman at the front desk was a doll. He went above and beyond for us. At one point I had to call the front desk to complain about the noisy kids running in the room above us. Within 5 minutes it was dead silence! I appreciate that so much!
My room was clean and very comfy! Also appreciated!
The Aluxor has easy access to shops and restaurants. You can walk to most everything from there... Yay! Especially when you didn't rent a car!

I tried to change date for the next day because my flight was delayed and they won't do it. I also asked about my surfboard luggage bag being transport by the hotel shuttle and their answer was ambiguous. I don't recommend this hotel.

If you need a spot before or after a flight, this is a great place to stay. Super clean, comfortable and they have a shuttle service to and from SFO. A little road noise depending on which side your room is on. Not too bad though. I would stay again. Safe area in San Bruno.

Sadly I stay there 2 nights...sadly the bathroom was dirty both night ..I report it on 1st night..front desk they will look into it .2nd night still dirty bathroom..unclean😂

Good clean rooms. The staff are helpful.
Convenient location - direct trains to San Francisco from San Bruno's train station, which is only a 15 minute walk away; bus stops nearby; convenience store within 5 minutes walk; a variety of restaurants and cafes 5-10 minutes walk towards the station.

Called from Mexico regarding shuttle service from airport and was told it was running every 25mins. Waited at airport for one amd half hours - no shuttle. Tried to call hotel. Noone pick up the phone after 5 attempts.. Was then told that the shuttle runs every hour and that the next one was scheduled for an hour and a half later. Decided to catch an Uber for $40.00. When we arrived, the hotel was more ike a hostel. We asked to see the room and were unpleasantly surprised at the chemical smell emitting from the room. This was a deal breaker.
We decided to cancel the room and forfeit the payment. We moved to the Double Tree Airport SFO instead - no comparison.
This was blindly booked from Australia. We learned our lesson.
The guy at the front desk was pleasant.

I only stayed one night but the hotel was wonderful! The room looked brand new and was extremely comfortable. The hotel was quiet and everything was perfect. The hotel provided a free shuttle to the airport and that was perfect as well. I would stay at Hotel Aluxor again for sure.

I do not recommend staying at this hotel. The AC unit was extremely loud at night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. I also requested a wake-up call that never came, which was very disappointing. On top of that, the bathtub was broken, adding to the overall poor experience. Not a restful or reliable stay.

Coffee in lobby but no covers, so you cannot take to go! Never heard of such a thing!

Very nice room, and the machine provides great chocolate milk!
but the morning call wasn’t be reset so it rang on 3 am and waked us up :(
