By far, best vet I have ever gone to. Everyone there is so pleasant. They welcome you with warm smiles and greetings. The vets are amazing and genuinely care about your pet. I see Dr Chiu and she is not only an amazing vet but just a great human! She meets you where you are, in terms of your pets care and is so gentle and caring with your pet. I have also seen Dr Hauge (sp?) and she is also wonderful! I have yet to meet anyone there who isn’t warm and welcoming. I def recommend San Bruno Pet Hospital.

I went with my grandfather to take his frenchie in for his vaccinations and a check up. Dr. Dewar was very professional, answered all our questions, and made sure our little guy was well taken care of. He needed some ear & paw treatment and she clearly explained how the aftercare would work at home. The vet techs were very patient with him while he became dysregulated and treated him with such kindness. As for the front desk staff, they answered our follow up questions regarding billing & updating contact information. I really appreciate everyone’s hard work, kindness and attentiveness to not only my grandpa’s dog, but also to my grandfather & myself. Thank you all!

Very grateful for the care and compassion of the veterinarians and vet techs at San Bruno Pet Hospital. It is very easy to make appointments as well keep track of vaccinations on their website. Dr. Harrington has been a wonderful primary care vet for our pets. Our elderly cat unfortunately had kidney failure our last visit and it was her time. The staff was so amazingly kind and kept her very comfortable with a fuzzy warm blanket, put little hearts on the bandage for her injection site, and gave us time and space together in her last moments. They sent me home with a sweet care package and sent her paw prints in the mail.
San Bruno Pet Hospital is expensive, but it’s worth the cost in these moments that matter, the convenience, the patience and expertise of the staff, and vets who remember and care.

Dr. Harrington is great with our pup! She takes the time to explain everything in detail and answers questions enthusiastically. Great staff as well! They even helped me out of a jam when I accidentally dropped my key fob on the passenger seat after loading our pup in the car and he stepped on the lock button! So glad I left the windows cracked open. Hospital staff grabbed a long gripper from their storeroom and pulled the fob off the seat through the cracked window. Life savers!

I have been continuously pleased with the service at this pet hospital. I have referred my friends and family here and they have similar accolades. The staff are compassionate, kind, and patient. They are flexible and able to accommodate a variety of animal needs and personalities. Scheduling appointments (even emergencies) is simple and follow ups are timely and thorough.

If you're looking for a vet you can trust and feel that your pet is cared for to the highest degree, SBPH is the place. I can NOT recommend them enough. We've been taking our sweet pup here for a year and a half now and each time the receptionist and techs welcome her with love and are gentle with her to ease her stress. We've had the privilege of working with Dr. Dewar as our home vet, who we feel SO trusting of and you can just tell she treats the animals how she would want her own dog to be treated. Over the past week we had a life / death medical scare with our 2 yr old staffy, we did not have time to take her all the way to SBPH as we would have preferred. Although our dog received treatment and surgery at our local ER, San Bruno PH was truly our champions in staying up to date with Mila and reassuring us that we were making all the right calls in a scary situation. They didn't make a dime from any of my dogs procedures, yet they promptly contacted us and stayed in touch with us during our time of need and I can't thank them enough for that. Our girl is out of surgery and doing well and Im so grateful to have a vet that truly cares! Dr. Dewar and the rest of the SBPH team: THANK YOU SO MUCH!

We recently had to say farewell to our beloved family dog with the assistance from SBPH and I will never have enough words to express how thankful I am for their professionalism & amazing care. We've bounced around before SBPH with many vets and nothing was up to par for how we wanted our pets to be treated. Past vets sometimes charged an arm and leg for certain treatments or unnecessarily "recommended" tests. Our experience with SBPH has always been great from day 1. There isn't a single person who hasn't went above and beyond. Honesty is something I've always appreciated as well because they don't go overboard with suggestions of this and that. Even if they caught something out of my scope, it was a very honest observation. A special shoutout to Dr Chiu who was the primary care for our dog who has gone on to live a better life. There has always been a sense of relief and peace of mind whenever she spoke about certain things, while being extra helpful to provide useful tips for just about anything. Sincerely thank you everyone there for the continued hard work, mass care and simply being the wonderful people you are!

Dr. Chiu is the GOAT when it comes to Veterinarians in the Peninsula. She is very proactive not reactive when it comes to assessing our dogs health. The facility is very clean, great parking, organized and friendly staff.
