I called 911 for about a wanderer smoking out of a device next to Petco on a Sunday morning. The K-9 unit arrived check their iD and let them go.

Uneducated idiots. I need paperwork filled out by them and all they needed to do was check my ID because I'm from out of state.

In the past I have called for parking violations in my area and to no avail/very late response. Today I called in an abandoned vehicle and someone was by within 30 minutes, thanks SBPD!Edit: 2 years later, they are hit and miss. I have nothing but parking violations on my street, they either show up right away and ticket it, don't show up at all, or they Show up and stare at a vehicle 3 feet over the curb cut and don't give it a ticket..... I'm confused.

Thanks to Elizabeth and the very kind and professional officer - Robby I got my important document back after Fedex lost it. Robby was nice and informative, he arrived to the spot and accompanied us until I got the document back, he was extremely sensitive to my family and made us feel in good hands. Thank you!

Has to be one of the worst police departments I have ever seen. These officers are lazy and pointless. I hope San Mateo county gets rid of san Bruno pd just like they did Millbrae. The sheriff department is better off patrolling this area.

This place is great, these officers acted like heroes during the San Bruno fire explosion and YouTube shooting, I wish all police departments act like this.

A force that disobeys the laws that they should be upholding. They are just regular people like anyone else but they hide behind the badge they carry and feel like they are above everyone else. Instead of patrolling and protecting they look for ways to ticket and entrap, they are payed by our tax dollars but they want to rob the citizens of every dollar they can through ticketing and other means. They walk a gray area where they can’t be prosecuted but aren’t doing things right either. I just today watched a police officer run a red light just because he didn’t want to wait, no lights or anything just didn’t want to wait. It’s sad to see the people we look to for protection and justice, not doing what they have sworn and oath to do. I know not everyone on the force is bad or corrupt or like this, but shouldn’t every single officer be living up to the standards expected of them, shouldn’t we as citizens feel safe knowing we have an entire force paid for by our hard earned money watching out for us. Shouldn’t we be able to sleep at night knowing our streets are patrolled and that we have people watching out for us? Is that too much to ask from the ones that have sworn an oath to do so? Why must they find any excuse to ticket when they could be out looking out for the people of this fair city and keeping them safe.

The SBPD has been great. I work on a rental property and they are always there for me and my residents. Kudos to all the officers for being prossesional but also very approachable.Thank you for all you do.

Sometime ago in a period of stress San Bruno's finest responded within seconds in the evening. One was a woman. Wish I had all 3 officers names. San Bruno was named after a saint who knew we revolved around the sun hundreds of years before Galielo or Copernicus. Sadly he was burned at the stake for heresy. The police here are like him always on the lookout for the truth and find it.

Most of the cops here are mentally retarded.
