“It was an amazing positive experience for my two kids at California Montessori School. Teachers are thoughtful, attentive and caring. Kids are really learning and growing. I still remember the first day my boy joined CMS, he knew no single english words at all. But not for long, my boy spoke english like a native and made friends at school thanks to the help of all the teachers, espeically teacher Reenu. She built the curriculum that sets kids up for success as they enter into Kindergarten and beyond. I also trust CMS to maintain a safe, clean environment that teaches kids self-responsibility. Therefore, when my younger girl turned three, i didnot hesitate a single minute to send her to California Montessori School. For those who are looking for a preschool, I cannot recommend this one enough -- thank you CMS for everything you did to care for our two kids and set them up for success!”

“This is our first year at Stratford School. My daughter is in Pre K. She is very shy, but eager to attend school. She cried a few times, but the friendly staff, nice classmates, and welcoming environment helped to ease her into getting acclimated in a school environment. Today I'm proud to say that she looks forward to going to school. Thank you Stratford School and caring staff. Keep up the good work!”

“Long overdue review -- better late than never! :)--I am sharing to RAVE about Bright Star Preschool/Child Development Center. Our son began Bright Star when he was 4years old and was there until of age to attend Kindergarten. We were referred to Bright Star by another parent who had a child attending the school and raved about Teacher Mary and her team. Prior to meeting Teacher Mary for the school tour, she was easy to communicate with via email, phone, text. Upon meeting her in person, we automatically loved her energy and personality. We could tell that Teacher Mary truly loves what she does and cares about the children. She is passionate about creating a safe space for kids to foster their growth. When our son started school, it was definitely an adjustment for him. It was a new routine, new school, new people. What helped him with the transition and made the morning drop-offs easier was that we were always greeted with smiling faces and positive energy from the teachers. Teacher Mary and her team of teachers are simply outstanding. They are devoted to the safety and well being of the kids. They follow the county guidelines to the tee with COVID and would go above and beyond by treating the kids as one of their own. In the classroom, the teachers bring their different backgrounds and experiences to share with the kids to help foster their academic, social, and emotional growth. They bring creativity and fun into the classroom. Our son was always eager to share the art projects he did at school, the social events he attended, the dance parties he danced in, and the songs he sang from school (at night, he would sing to us right before bed). Bright Star is a unique place because Teacher Mary recognizes that there is no one way of teaching and fostering a child's learning and growth. The school creates an environment where kids can explore through play, classroom style of writing, reading, listening, sharing (show n tell), singing, and many other learning modalities. Additionally, we love the fact that Bright Star provides meals with the tuition (super helpful for working parents!). Their meals are diverse and we are grateful for them because we noticed it has been helping Max explore other food and cuisines that he wouldn't normally want to try at home or when we are out and about. Being at school, he's gotten "braver" and willing to try new food! We can rave on and on about Bright Star and highly recommend it to our friends and family. If you have any questions, we would be happy to share further with you our personal experiences. Thank you Bright Star for your outstanding care and teachings! We love you!”

“I went to school here from 1957-1963 when my folks moved to Burlingame. We were the first residents of 2680 Rollingwood Drive, so I just had to walk down the hill in the morning to school and back up in the afternoon. Have wonderful memories of both Rollingwood Elementary and the neighborhood. Particularly remember Miss Nordness in 2nd grade who was beautiful, and Miss Brooks in 3rd grade who gave everyone a hug at the end of the day. Always remember a Christmas play our 3rd grade class put on where I was the little drummer boy. And the tether ball courts in the playground. One of my classmates was Judy Kenner Droege (sp.?) who eventually went to work in the school's administrative office. In those days, the milkman -Mr.Littlefield-used to deliver door to door, doctor's made house visits with their little black bags, and Littleman's Grocery Store was at the bottom of Rollingwood Drive- a whole different world , but a great one to grow up in. Surely hope that Rollingwood School keeps going for many more years- have heard it may be closed down -it holds so many wonderful memories for me and always will no matter what-but it really deserves to keep going to make equally great memories for future generations of kids !”

“I can't say enough good things about Hugs Hangout! One of my kids recently graduated to kindergarten and my other kid is currently attending Hugs now. The staff here is not only incredibly thoughtful and kind but also highly skilled in early childhood education. Their communication with parents is top-notch, and they go above and beyond to ensure we're well-informed about our child's progress. Most importantly, my kids adore their teachers. One standout experience was their assistance with potty training my younger son. They made the process so much smoother for us as parents, and our son quickly adapted thanks to their guidance. Now that my older son is in kindergarten, I can confidently say that this preschool prepared him exceptionally well, both socially and academically. It's heartwarming to see how confident he is and how easy the transition to kindergarten was, thanks to the foundation laid here. The program's focus on making learning fun and engaging is evident, with various spirit days, ooey gooey nights and other activities. They recently relocated to the former Rollingwood elementary school location, and the newly refurbished classrooms and play area are great. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our children to start their educational journey. Highly recommended!”
