“My daughter has spent 2 years at PCC preschool and I will certainly miss this hidden gem of a school! Not only is the campus beautiful, but it is overall an amazing place for little ones! It has been so great to see how much my daughter loves preschool and how much she has learned! I love hearing each day about what her job was, where they played, what their focus was and what the snack was! The teachers truly care about the students and it has been a great experience. I can’t wait until my baby is old enough to attend!”

We both have so many new friends and have truly created a community for ourselves. The Teachers are creative, kind and intentional with the way they are educating my son. “We love the Shores Child Development Center! Their teachers and Directors/staff are like family, they know all the kids and parents names and are so friendly. I get updates on how my little one is doing and daily pictures. The curriculum and philosophy they follow is amazing and has taught my little one so much since joining. Most of all this little family is a safe and fun place to come daily.”

“Our son started in the infant program at 6 months. His teachers in that classroom were great. He didn't want to take a bottle at first and they were patient and taught him how. The new center leadership has been really great during the Covid year too. I would highly recommend this center, especially the infant room.”
“I cannot more highly recommend Sequoia Children's Center. I can only speak to the pre-K program, as we were living in the area for one year, and enrolled our son in the pre-K class for the duration of that time. The teachers - Carol and Becky - are incredible. They have built a curriculum that is engaging and encourages the kids to learn a lot, but also in a safe, nurturing, fun environment. But as far as I can tell all of the teachers and support staff there are wonderful. Our son has come out of the program very prepared for Kindergarten, but not overwhelmed. I also appreciated that there was a very practical and warm attitude there - I found in researching schools many arrogant programs that seemed like they were going to push a really strong academic emphasis on the kids. SCC is a program where the kids learn a lot and are perfectly prepared for Kindergarten, but not at the expense of pleasure, fun, and play. The families there are also terrific and it is a great place to be involved as much as you would like to be, with lots of opportunities for parent and family participation. If you are in search of childcare, in particular a pre-K program, I would definitely check out Sequoia Children's Center.”
