I went into this post office on a hope and a prayer that they could locate a box that had been part of a mail hold but had never been delivered when the hold was lifted. After the fastest moving line I have ever seen at a government agency, I was greeted by a friendly and helpful person who took the info, disappeared to the back for 5 minutes, and came back to tell me I would be helped soon by a manager. Soon was about 10 seconds later as the manager came out and said it was handled, the package would be at my house later today. Reader, it was at my house less than an hour later. Perfect service, 10/10

I came in at 5:01pm to drop off a package (a minute after closing). The clerk was so nice and helpful. Took the package and gave me my receipt, no fuss. The staff is always friendly here and very knowledgeable. Knock on wood, haven’t had a bad experience with this location, which is why I always come here.

unfortunate that this place has low ratings. I’ve always had a pleasant experience here. The staff are friendly and efficient! Thank you!

This establishment is an absolute nightmare. The phone line has been disconnected for months. I've been waiting on a package that was supposed to be delivered 2 weeks ago. It was a standard delivery and didn't require a signature but it was marked at rescheduled delivery due to "No authorized person to sign" the employee most likely ran out of time and just marked it whatever so he could finish his shift. Even after I've scheduled a redelivery my package still has yet to move. There's some shady practices going on in this branch. As of writing this I've still yet to reach a resolution to this major issue.

I’m so shocked and hurt by the service I received at this post office. Today I went in for walkin Passport appointment and waited patiently for two hours even though one of the employers straight up looked me in the face said she wouldn’t take me in at 1030am and walk-in are from 10-11. I still waited finally lined moved I got into the waiting room the post office people took two families in that were behind me before me. Then finally sat me next and immediately took me out because I didn’t have an appointment the time was 1218 at this point.. I just left in tears i felt so ignored.

Totally incompetent. I showed them my confirmation email for the package and they wouldn't let me pick up MY OWN PACKAGE. I came all the way here just for you people to waste my time.

This place is a joke, you can't even call the number that is listed before you go there if you just wanted to ask a few questions. And their employees are rude and unhelpful. I went in because my email stated that my packages had reached there. But they couldn't even find my tracking number.

Very disappointed. Mailed something at the San Bruno office to Los Angeles and 10 days later, it still has not arrived. Will not go back here again.

A few months ago, I had to go to three different USPS locations to find a place that would take non-machinable mail (my wedding invitations!). This is fairly simple to do - you just buy stamps with a non-machinable surcharge and hand them to a worker. First two locations immediately turned me away with no explanation. They wouldn't even sell me the stamps. Finally came here and Thomas was so helpful! Didn't bat an eye when I explained that I needed my wedding invitations hand cancelled because of the envelope seal. Kindly explained what stamps I needed and to bring them up when I was done. I offered to help hand cancel them and he said it wasn't necessary - made it super easy for me! Thomas was wonderful. I will come back to this USPS in the future.

This place is a logistical disaster. No one ever scans anything, even when you wait in line and hand it directly to them. The self-serve box is almost always locked up and inoperable. The strangely one-way parking lot attracts the absolute stupidest, most illiterate people from the surrounding neighborhood who do not understand that idling for 15 minutes and blocking everyone else from moving is not worth getting a space that is two feet closer to the door. The employee parking lot is quite spacious by comparison, and there is never more than four or five people milling around behind the counter so I'm not sure why they think they need that much real estate. It is truly a miracle that they keep this one open.

San Bruno mail carriers are horrific. I sent my cousin a package- it "went out for delivery", never reached my cousin, then marked as "return to sender- recipient moved with no forwarding address," less than two hours later. My cousin has lived there for over twenty years. She told me her carrier is incompetent, at best, and she opened a P.O. Box. Seems like other reviews for their carriers have similar issues, and no one picks up the phone. Cost me more money to have this item shipped back out again. Using FedEx this time though.
