My family brought our cars here when we lived in the Bay, and after a few years living in another state, I moved back and brought my car in for a regular service. Justin remembered my family after all those years and took great care of the car.A few weeks later I kept hearing a rattle when I was driving, so I took the car in and they checked it out - even getting a mechanic to ride with me on the highway to make sure they were hearing the same sound. Turns out living in a snowy place makes your car rust and rattle! Everything was resolved quickly and with great communication. Justin also called a lyft for me when I had to leave my car for an extended service, just highlighting how great this place is and how well they take care of their customers.They always send a report of what they've found and discuss next steps and what they recommend verus what you can save until the next visit. I really appreciate the time Justin took with me and making sure my car was all set for safe driving.Thanks to the team at A+ Japanese Auto Repair!

I've been going to A+ Japanese Auto Repair for the past year since buying a Prius. Everyone who works there is so kind and professional. They do all work quickly and the customer is always kept in the loop about what is happening. Their after hours drop off and complementary rides are very welcome and I've never seen those at any other auto shop I've been to. So far I've only had wonderful experiences!

10 stars! My permanent new Auto Repair Shop! I fired the dealer I have used for 23 years after trying A+ Japanese Auto Repair. A+ Japanese Auto Repair is incredibly professional in how they manage their workflow, customer service (such as shuttle rides, loaner cars,) but most of all superb and timely communication. They communicate both by texting and human beings who actually pick up the phone!A big shout out to all of the Service Mangers, but especially Katie. She is a true Professional in the realm of Customer Service Management. I see a few negative reviews because folks are shocked at the price of repairs on their high mileage car. Owning an older car comes with higher repair costs. At this 100,000 mile service, I needed some significant work performed. The bill was about $3,000. I expected this type of expense as I have driven many cars over 100,000 miles. A huge benefit is that A+ Japanese Auto Repair provides a 2 year warranty on major repairs, which is how I know the repair was done properly. Additionally, they send a report to Carfax, which will help you sell your car in the future.

“Red Triangle of Death”Our Service Manager Brent was superbfor us! More than pleased. He explained what needed to be done, why it needed to be done in a manner that was very understandable. He kept us informed as the work progressed and the follow up was excellent. He really made us feel comfortable and that he cared.As far as the repairs, they diagnosed the problem quickly and we received an estimate the next day. The repairs solved all three problems affecting our Prius. Drives like new.Already recommended A1 Plus to my neighbors. Top Notch and Affordable. A1 Plus has a new customer.Service: Electrical repair

Very good experience at this shop. Did a vehicle inspection report which was very comprehensive with detailed pictures. Had AC issues on my prius. They gave an initial estimate and were clear on the price. The report highlighted stuff which needed to be fixed now with backing evidence which was really nice. Katie my service manager was super sweet and took time to explain everything. Wish I had found them sooner :-)

If I could give the team (and service) at A+ Japanese Auto Repair a million stars I would! After unfortunately experiencing a hit and run without the driver leaving a note about the damage, I brought my Mazda into A+ Japanese Auto Repair for an assessment. From the second I arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly and professional. (Huge shout out to Katie for promptly greeting me and, despite it being busy, ensuring that I didn't wait for more than 30 seconds before being helped by Justin!) Speaking of Justin, he has to be one of the most communicative, kindest people I have had the pleasure of doing business with. He was super knowledgeable with all things related to my car, and quickly guided me through my options. I opted to leave my car at A+ to undergo repair, and am so glad I did. As my car was being fixed, I received frequent updates. To my surprise, as my car was being repaired, the team found internal damage that needed tending to. Justin kindly informed me of my options, but did not pressure me in any way to make a decision. However, based on my positive experience so far, I eagerly allowed them to fix it. Less than a week later, my car looks better than it did before! They returned it to me clean (inside and outside!) and with a new battery for my key fob.I am forever grateful for the work the entire team at A+ Japanese Auto Repair shop did for me. During a situation that could have been stressful, I felt at ease! Moving forward, I will absolutely return to this place for any and all of my Mazda services or repairs (should I need any).

A++ in my opinion. An auto repair service that I trust with my vehicles. I tried them rather than working with the dealer, and they are light years ahead. They gave me a full inspection report: what's good, what's recommended, and what's coming up. Description, photos of my actual car illustrating where the work would be done, and explanations of why certain work is advised. Not sure I will find that level of transparency elsewhere, and it goes to show they're not going to hide or fabricate services you don't need. They also offered complimentary pick up, drop off from either my home or place of work, whatever is convenient. Again, light years ahead of the game: trustworthy, transparent, reliable, convenient. I'm lucky to have found them and I won't be looking elsewhere.

Amazing, honest and top notch care. I have never received such exceptional service from an auto repair shop ever. I my husband reached out after I told him my battery light lit up while driving on the freeway on my way to work...after a recent battery change. So stressful! But A+, specifically Eric and Robert, alleviated all the stress from that day-my car was picked up from my work parking lot and evaluated the same day. I got text updates on what was needed complete with photos and explanations, they did not proceed with ordering anything until we discussed and gave the ok, and they dropped off the car (ensuring it was safe to drive) before end of workday so I can get home to my family. If they had to keep it, I was provided a ride to work or home via their driver or Lyft! Over the next few days, same level of exceptional support and when the final price was calculated, they helped with what they could to bring costs down. As a full time healthcare worker, a mom of 3 with busy/chaotic day to day -everything they did was a huge help to me and my family. This is THEIR standard of care for their customers. My car is running like new and we didn't hesitate to bring our mini-van over when a maintenance light came on. We are customers for life...and you should be too!

As a single woman with zero car knowledge, I don’t look forward to bringing my car in for servicing. BUT … that has changed with the outstanding service from A+ Japanese Auto Repair. Do yourself a favor and schedule your next car servicing with them to see what I mean. You will be delighted with their integrity, attention to detail, and their focus on customer safety and satisfaction. I can’t recommend them highly enough. They were very accommodating to me. I asked for an appointment yesterday, they penciled me in this morning and I was in and out in about two hours. I took my car in for a brake fluid exchange. After the job was done, I took the car out and it was like the brakes on a new car! Definitely noticed the difference, I’ll go back again.

I was referred to A-1 from my previous mechanic and they are awesome. They had my hybrid vehicle (Ford Escape) for a few weeks while waiting for a part and Naeem always kept me in the loop on what was happening. I highly recommended the communication and professionalism of A-1.

13 years ago, I purchased a brand new CRV, and thanks to the fantastic care it has received at A+ Japanese Auto Repair, it still runs flawlessly today!The technicians are undoubtedly experts in their field. They efficiently diagnosed and resolved the issues my Honda had been experiencing, leaving me with a vehicle that felt as good as new. The attention to detail and the use of high-quality replacement parts were evident in the thoroughness of their work.I was also thoroughly impressed with the transparency and honesty displayed by the A+ Japanese Auto Repair team. Justin at A+ Japanese Auto is simply the best. I had our youngest daughter go there to get the first oil change on her car all by herself. Justin walked her through the process, explained the needed paperwork and had her get through her first “solo” car maintenance appointment without any problems. I felt very taken care of at this place when they were taking care of an issue with my clutch pedal sensor switches. They informed me of some other maintenance issues I had been neglecting, (which at first blush felt a little like an upsell) but at this point I'd rather have the peace of mind knowing it's done.Once the car is dropped off, they do offer a free ride back home (probably within reason).Once it was ready to pick up the transition went smoothly. Everyone I interacted with was very nice from start to finish.Do keep in mind the service intervals specific to your car (especially newer ones). Some of them vary wildly between makes and models, and sometimes shops don't always keep specific information on your car available.Services: Electrical repair
