Such a sweet little unexpected gem, full of treasures and trinkets, antiques and vintage jewelry. It's the sort of shop your grandmother or somebody's mom might've run back in the day, you'd be able to get lost for at least an hour rifling through random little things, odds and ends, e.g. books and artwork, necklaces and earrings, rings, little board games and the odd bit of clothing you thought you'd never find. The prices are also from yesteryear. The display of merchandise is also oddly adorable and artfully placed. I didn't have my phone when we went inside, or I so wished I could've taken photos. Oh well, next time.

I LOVE this store and the owner. She has amazing selection of vintage jewelry at wonderful prices and so knowledgeable on all of them. Every time I visit I always spend at least 30 minutes and walk out with something I absolutely love! If you find yourself in San Carlos please give this place a visit you won't be disappointed

I really needed some things for rounding out my holiday table. Little did I know that Bloomingales has so many S&P shakers which I needed and altho they didn't have the covered butter I needed I walked out w gorgeous Lenox butter pats. Mission accomplished and very helpful owner! Also unlike so many other stores that are never open during the week or Sundays on Laurel, they were open. Thank You!

I worked down the street on a project and so came to know this store. I purchased a few interesting things. But when it came to consigning an item my problems started. I inherited estate items from my late aunt - we both collected similar items. I sold duplicate items from her estate at the on line auction but had too many and did not want to flood it and so looked to consign some items here. At the start things were good the owner said she would buy the items outright. I had cleaned them up and checked they worked and sold them to the owner in top condition. A year later I get a call from the owner telling me I had to come down and get the item I had sold her a year before and fix it; it was not working properly and a buyer wanted it fixed. Pardon me I sold you a working item a year ago now you want me to fix it? Like the on line auction I can take no responsibility for something I sold a year ago - I mean really are you daffy lady? Well it gets better I felt sorry for the buyer and contacted her and so did fix it not to benefit the store owner who obviosuly has an attitude problem but to help the gal who bought it in good faith. I came to find out the item had been sold about six months after I sold it to the store owner but apparently the initial buyer did not know how to use it and tampered with it. It was then returned and sat in the store until another person bought it. The problem was a buyer tampered with it so it could not work but keep in mind this store owner not only expected me to fix something which had been out of my control for a year but something which had been tampered with by a clueless customer of her's and was accepted for a refund and resale without carefully checking the condition. I could never deal with this store again they are clearly off of the wall. If you consign something to sell there you may be held responsible for something entirely out of your control long after you sold it and through no fault of your own as the owner is in my opinion clearly clueless and arrogant beyond belief in my opinion...

Got this pretty cool decoration piece from this antique store.. Had been eyeing it for awhile. I ran in to grab it... When purchasing I handed over my debit card with MY ID picture on it. I was then asked if I had something with a signature on it. UMM hello my picture is on it! Asking a bit too much I think, I probably won't go back. Double security with inspector gadget behind the counter wasn't fair.. Tisk tisk.

Like another Yelper, I stumbled upon this store. Am so glad I did! I found some items for my china collection that I did not hesitate to buy. The owners are so charming and will tell you a lot of historical information about the antiques and vintage items they offer. They are very well-priced and will "shop" for you if you let them know what you are looking for. Lovely window display. They are actually like a mini-mall. They have several collections from several other consigners inside. They pack a lot of value into small quarters. Now I try to stop by when I am in the neighborhood.

I stumbled onto this store while walking down the street and if you like shopping for collectables like I do then you will love it! It has something for everyone, from vintage car manuals and old puzzles and toys, to furniture, knick-knacks and even very frugally priced jewelry. I managed to find a pair of LIKE NEW Cartier Rings in the original boxes with all the paperwork at less than half what they cost new, as graduation presents for my 2 sisters!!

Bloomingayle's Antiques is my favorite antique and vintage store. When you enter this store you feel such an atmosphere of nostalgia. The owner Gayle is such a delight and is very friendly. She often points out special treasures to show you and gives you a little history of them. This makes the experience, all the more fasinating Items are priced very reasonably and there is a variety to choose from. This store reminds me of antique stores from the past, that set the mood for sure fun shopping. Sara
