My son started pre-k mid year at SPNS. It has been a great experience for him and our family. Teacher Kristina is warm, calm, friendly and interactive. The indoor and outdoor place space is great and the community is friendly and welcoming. I am very happy we switched preschools and my son is thriving at SPNS!

Play-based since 1970, Sequoia Parents Nursery School has provided a small cooperative, play-based preschool for children ages 16 months through 5 years old. Under the guidance of credentialed teachers, parents participate in operating this non-profit school for the benefit of their young children. Located in San Carlos, SPNS is a vibrant community where children, parents and teachers are fully involved in an interactive process of learning and growing together. The school provides enriching preschool programs, daytime parent education meetings, community events, and field trips. SPNS curriculum is designed around the premise that play is the work of children, and it is through play that children learn and grow.
