Elizabeth was incredibly helpful in assisting me with a rental payment direct deposit, and even provided me with additional resources to simplify the process for future payments. Thank you for a fantastic customer experience!

Funny, this bank has decided to charge long term customers for not having $20k in deposits to prevent $300 of annual fees for their Premier Checking accounts. They used to have qualification/no fees based on both loans and deposits. Now you must have cash in their bank to prevent these fees. It is interesting that this happened after the rise in rates. Guess they want to treat their long term customers as disposable after 30+ years. Hope they get what they deserve. Plan to switch all my cash accounts to Fidelity with my 401K since fees are free. They are disconnected with reality. So sad.

This bank branch is probably one of the worst, nobody ever around to help you out when you come in. Be prepared to wait forever to get anything done, there is only 1 person available in the service window. If it's not so convenient, I would have gone to a different one. But, other branch will probably just as bad or worse.

Wells Fargo has been my bank for as long as I can remember... All the way back to the days they bought first interstate bank. So I had a complicated transaction today in the San Carlos branch, and a very nice young man named Afwal stuck with me longer than he should have had to, as I figured out which denominations of bills I wanted. He was so professional, poised and kind that I was inspired to write this review. Hats off to Afwal! Please give him a raise. I suspect if he stays at Wells Fargo, he will soon manage his own branch.

Bad service! I have been waiting for 1 hour to talk to the banker for a simple transaction.

The incompetence of every employee in this branch is shocking. Between the inability to complete a simple banking requests, mistakes make by bankers and tellers, and horribly long lines, it's a mess. Avoid this branch if you can.

Awful customer service, from a bank that has been ranked as one of the worst for ethical shenanigans with customer accounts. If they could at least have decent customer service. Time to look for a different bank after many years of banking with them. Just zero interest in helping customers.

keep your money out of wfb!!!! once it's in there the bank thinks of it as "its own assets" and will not release the funds when you need them transferred to another institution, or if you need them for personal reasons. i have gone to my local wfb branch numerous times to collect a large sum that i inherited and they will not release the funds!!! even though i am named as "pod" on the account. "pod" means "payment on death". the bank thinks of it as "its own money" and wants it kept in their bank.

I have been banking with Wells Fargo for over ten years. The San Carlos location has ATM's outside and inside for faster service. I also have a business account with them, though the San Carlos location can not assist with payment processing systems etc..it is inconvenient to have to go to Redwood City for those needs but overall the new management is wonderful and they really do a good job. Sometimes there is a long wait to see a banker, check deposit and withdrawal lines get long during lunch hour, and often times a longer wait for safe deposit entry. Great location. Very convenient.

Needed to have 2 insurance checks signed. Slow and generally incompetent folks working there. One gentleman took copies of our paperwork and said that we could come back in and sign as the mortgage company was closed in Saturday (although the Saturday before we had the same exact service done on the first check). After taking down our number he never called back and didn't even remember us when we went back in. 2 stars for eventually getting what we needed. Glad I don't bank here.

My experience with Wells is that they are a huge information (that they don't need) gathering institution where they sell your information. They are far from the banking ethical standards (with good business practices) of other banks and brokerage houses. Don't waste your time and energy, and frustration levels with them. And read the other comments which are "right on."

Just left this branch a few minutes ago + feeling very pleased with my experience, I had to post a quick review! Upon entering, two tellers happily greeted me, and showed me where the ATM was located (which, by the way, you can withdraw money from a select number of denominations ($1s, $5s, $20s). The manager on duty (I didn't catch his name) was very friendly and helpful, and my entire experience a few minutes ago today was above any ATM experience I've had at a branch before.

I worked at this branch as a merchant teller from 1989 through 1991. I left to go work for Citibank Visa. I am back at Wells, Citibank did things that were shady at best. I am now a return customer there, full circle. I LOVE THIS BRANCH. Nikko has been very helpful in trying to help me get my loan approved. His customer service is outstanding. Everyone at this branch has been amazing! You ALWAYS get farther with honey then vinegar.
