Bow WOW Beautiful and her entire staff is extremely knowledgeable, not only re grooming, but dog and cat behavior. They treat each animal special and listen to their customers. What's so nice is that the owner works with dog trainers and rescues to help rescue dogs. They do an amazing on the dogs. I took my friends 150lb St. Bernard (this is NOT an easy dog to groom h he came back so beautiful and happy! He's also happy when he's dropped off. That's a great indicator on how comfortable a dog is at a facility (cats are s
o different, and really run their own show ?).
I highly recommend Bow WOW Beautiful and even driving out of your, its so worth it!!

Tookie my scared,older,reactive to other dogs,Velcro pound puppy had his first bath today after 8 years by someone else today other than me! He has been asked 3 times at other places not to return. So it's been up to me and I've been taking him to the dog tub in Laguna and washing him for years. Don't have the energy anymore to fight him over nail clipping took to Facebook and overwhelmingly bow wow was highly recommended. Got him in 815 Saturday morning and believe me I am not a morning person at all! Called me when he was almost done and I raced there and one happy puppy! So kind and caring. He's clean nails trimmed happy camper we are we found our place.

We took our dog here to be groomed and when we got our dog home, noticed she was cut by the clippers and the dog was clearly in pain. It was a noticeable cut, one that would be recognized by the groomer, but maybe as the owner wouldn’t notice right away because it was in the dogs genital area. We had to apply cold compresses to the dog for a few days to relieve her of the pain because she was clearly uncomfortable and agitated as well as having a hard time using the bathroom.
I’m not giving a poor review because the dog got hurt, because sometimes things happen and that’s understandable. I’m giving a poor review because nothing was said. It’s the businesses responsibility to declare an incident occurred. We’re trusting people with our animals and that trust was broken. All around poor business practice leaving lasting trust issues between the dog and ourselves.

Would not recommend. Strange encounter with owner who appeared rude and was very defensive. Also, now my dog has had neck pain and a possible pinched nerve. I cannot say if her grooming session is to blame, as I was not there, but something feels off about this groomer.

I had to go back and edit my initial review. I've been a client of Bow Wow for close to ten years. I am a disabled veteran with an assistant animal. My last visit was with a new dog, as my original assistant animal passed away. When I use Bow Wow, I get a wash, a trim including hygienic areas, a nail trim, and teeth brushing. On my last visit, my dog was not hygienically trimmed to my satisfaction. The coat under his belly and in front of his private part appeared to not have been trimmed at all. (See accompanying photo) Because the area was not trimmed, the dog was urinating on his belly fur. The dog was groomed for airline travel. When I got to my destination, I had to have the dog washed and hygienically trimmed a second time. I was disappointed at the decline in service and doubt that I will return to patronize the business in the future.

We’ve been going to Bow Wow Beautiful for over six years. We now live in San Diego and return to San Clemente because of their Great Service. But, make reservations as soon as possible. They Book up!

I specifically asked for a receipt showing services rendered, but the groomer and owner would not give one. Las time there my dog was supposed to have teeth brushed and anal gland expression, however they did not do it. today it happened again and it was not done. It has NOT been 5 months since my dogs last grooming as the response from owner says - and he has monthly baths and it's brushed often. I picked him up and his cut was awful and he had stray hairs sticking out of his feet, crooked hair cut on ears and his face was not styled as I asked for. They had him stay in a kennel for 4 hours except the short time he was groomed. They didn't wash his face thoroughly and my young daughters literally do better baths here at home. I've had great groomers at Talega animal hospital but they don't offer full service any longer. I already have new referrals for groomers and will never be back to BOW WOW NOT Beautiful again. very upset and disappointed and sad he staff was totally rude which I had not mentioned.

It has happened twice that i have made appointments for 3 of my dogs and both times i went in they said they did not have any appointments for my dogs. I don't know who's in charge of putting down appointments but they need to pay attention. definitely not trying this place again :)
