If you run a small business please take this review to heart. We have had an account through Citibank for the past year and a half and it has hands down been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a company. We call them on a weekly basis attempting to unfreeze our account when they claim there has been fraud on our account. They are flagging payments that are monthly recurring payments. Their extremely rude and unhelpful customer service takes about 45 minutes each time to clear these flags. They do not call us warning us that fraud has been detected they simply just freeze our account. STAY AWAY FROM CITIBANK. We are switching business accounts elsewhere as soon as possible. Truly a nightmare wish I could give zero stars.

The hours are ridiculous. How are working people supposed to get to the bank during working hours? The personal managers are only there on some days during the week.

What a great staff and management they have here! Maria the manager is so nice and Fara the personal banker always helps us with all our needs. I came in to cash a check and resolve a problem and they were so efficient and taking care of everything!

If I can give it a higher star, I would! The entire staff is so friendly and they remember you by name, I am always greeted by my first name and feel extremely important. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, you are in and out so fast! They are also very dog friendly.

Sadly, my Mom recently passed and had been a loyal customer at this bank for many years. Maria, the bank Mgr, always extended herself above and beyond when my mom needed assistance. When the time came for me to handle the execution of her trust, I visited the branch repeatedly to sort things out. Maria and (her friendly and competent colleague), Mehdi, walked me through all my questions with such patience and kindness. I am grateful to both of them for the many years of taking such great care of my Mom, and now me!

I have been using Citibank for at least over ten years, and have never had anything but polite workers. I met with Mehdi Miladi yesterday and he was so kind and really listened to what my needs are. I have been diagnosed with IIH and have gone through chemo so being unable to work, I was getting charged every month because the minimum requirements were not met. He personally went through my charges and waved them which was a total surprise to me! I definitely will recommend Citibank in San Clemente to anyone and everyone. Thank you again for being so awesome!!

Came in for a checking promotion, Mehdi, the banker I sat with was very helpful and friendly. I got my $400 credit right on time and he even walked me through using the mobile app to make check deposits so I don't have to come in during Covid-19. Also, they have a way to make appointments with him right on the app if you really need to come in for something. Everything was so convenient and resourceful.

This branch is easy to get to as its right off the freeway. There's hardly ever a wait even to see a banker and the tellers are super nice even when clients are rude to them and they still are so sweet!! I love my double cash card and it's easily still one of the most beneficial products I had been recommended from Citibank.

Cannot even get a return call from Mehdi the personal banker. Citi Bank changed loan servicers on our loan and Citi will not accept payments at the branch. I have tried to contact the servicer and they say they have NO record of our loan. Mehdi has washed his hands of the problem since he could not resolve it and he walked away. What lousy customer service. All I get is recordings and have been trying to change the address on the account for over a week. Recordings is all I get when I call and the branch does not return calls....

Went in to make a payment on my credit card and ask about converting a credit card to a different type of credit card. Incorrect information was given, and I truly got the feel that they really don't care about their customers. A coworker Overheard this conversation and asked if the girl needed assistance and she declined. He could hear that incorrect information was being provided but never stepped in to help! I only know this to be true because after I spoke with a representative on the phone myself , I went back in to let her know the information provided to me was incorrect. The coworker who was in next cubicle confirmed that in fact a credit card can be converted to the other one and you can maintain "customer since" Lackadaisical attitude. When I mentioned I could just close my account and open up another credit card at another bank since loyalty does not seem to be something Citibank values the girls comment was "yeah."So disappointed because I really appreciated Citibank and long time customer.

Always a friendly greeting, by name, and an upbeat atmosphere with the folks behind the glass. I appreciate the personalized experience, much nicer than the typical consumer banks.
