The worst cvs pharmacy. I just switched my prescription here and will be switching it elsewhere. Staff is rude and prescriptions are not ready on time, if you want to wait an hour for your prescription go for it.

Pharmacist lacks any sort of compassion. They never answer the phone, you will be on hold for 30mins then the system automatically drops the call, I think the pharmacy knows this so they just leave you on hold until your call is dropped so they don't have to deal with phone calls

The worst store ever CVS as a chain has gone downhill in the last two years they've lost insurance information require extreme lengths to get medicine after I've paid online just overall bad experience for people that are supposed to help other people forget CVS

CVS in San Clemente on De Los Mares is absolutely wonderful. A woman who works there always recognizes my 93 year old self hobbling along, and immediately helps me out. Whenever I call to have my monthly prescription filled, I have to brace myself for 1-2 hours of rigmarole ranging from the clerk saying the medications are out of stock when they aren’t, to the pharmacist telling me they don’t have a prescription for me for the meds when they do (then blaming the miscommunication on me for referring to the meds by the more common brand name and not the generic name).Unfortunately, the medications I use are in limited supply or I would never use this pharmacy again.

My doctor sent my Rx to be filled, but it was too early to fill. They kept the Rx on file until the day it was eligible to be filled and was supposed to fill it on that day. Apparently, a shortage of that medicine started and they did not have it available. Instead of informing me there was a shortage and letting me know they were not going to fill it, they just never contacted me. The day came and went and they never reached out which happened to be this past Friday, June 30th. I called the next day, Saturday, looking for my medicine and that's when they decided to tell me. Had I not called, they would have continue to neglect my prescription. Well, had they informed me on Friday like they should have, I could have reached out to my doctor to send a prescription to a pharmacy that does have the Rx in stock, but since my doctor is gone until Wednesday because of the 4th of July holiday, I have no way of getting my Rx until then. My medicine is very important to me and is essential to my ability to perform and function daily personally and professionally. It has already been tough this past day and a half and a serious struggle with many things going wrong. Of course, CVS will not take responsibility and will ignore the situation as this doesn't hurt them and they won't be held accountable for their lack. I am the one facing the consequences for their negligence.

These people could care less about the customers. It's awful. Slow, rude and careless. The workers are snowflakes that cannot be hurried. As someone who spends thousands on prescriptions, it's annoying how poor the service is. Will be transferring my meds elsewhere.

My husband and I have been going to this pharmacy for at least 20 years. We have always received excellent service, the staff has always been polite, helpful and courteous, and any problems have been handled quickly and we have never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes ever! At one point the Pharmacist knew my husband's name whenever he saw him. We have never had any complaints except once or twice in 20 years, all of our prescriptions were not ready when we went to pick them up, after calling first to check. They were quick to fill them while we waited and never had to wait long. We have never had any of the problems I've read in the reviews here, so I urge everyone to give this place a try before you decide its not worth it. You get what you give.

Today I needed many things to get ready for a trip. When I buzzed for help at the locked shampoo cabinet, a nice young man named Casey helped me right away. He was friendly and easy to talk to( he also helped me find a lady's shaver that I was interested in, and travel size shave for hubby. ) He took me to the self check so I didn't have to wait, scanned all of my items quickly and even asked about paper coupons, which were in my wallet and I had completely forgotten about(!) Such great customer service! I felt good all day.

A strong 5 stars for the state of the store -- from an abundance of products, neat displays, and organization. Well done!! 0 stars for the blonde female cashier upfront today on 3/18/23. What laziness is this!? She was avoiding doing her job up front at the normal cash register area. Instead, causing confusion, delays and frustration. There is a prominent sign that clearly notes you have the option of paying either at the traditional cash register or self-checkout. My preference for personal reasons was to pay at the normal register. I rang the bell, and she said she would be right there. She never came over. Instead, she kept directing people to the self-checkout area. Folks looked unhappy having to go there, but they complied because she said she would only take people at the counter if it was a liquor purchase. Really????! Next, each of the customers struggled with the self-checkout. Review the footage. Not a single one was a quick in and out checkout. Then this cashier had to spend additional time helping those folks because of the problem she caused. If she just went back to her normal post at the normal register she could have handled these customers one by one in a seamless and swift way. Instead, she caused further delays and frustration by continuously pointing folks to the self-checkout -- that clearly wasn't working out for most. I eventually had to flag down another employee. Thankfully, he was in management and kindly processed my order, and I was on my way. Note to CVS management: self checkout is an optional service. It should not be forced upon customers to use. Primary focus and way of payment should still be received by a cashier at a register. The grumpy blonde cashier needs to be addressed/corrected. Looking forward to better customer service in the future. I still have the store a 5, so as you can see, I am very reasonable. But this customer service issue must be resolved.

Would not recommend CVS at all for buying gift cards. GC fraud occurs in their store and they do not honor refunds to customers if this occurs. Offered all information requested and they still would not refund my money. Terrible customer service.

I can't stand this place. First of all they lure you in with coupons and Bonus Bucks but their prices are WAY higher than other stores and Ralph's is right next door. I wish they would just have lower prices like Target or Walmart instead of playing these coupon games. They are a total waste of time. They also have horrible customer service. I waited at the register for 5 minutes and no cashier in sight. When the lady finally came up she said we have a sign right here at the closed check stand telling you to push some button. I don't have time to read a bunch of crap every time I go to a store. I expect that there will be a checker there. She was pretty rude. I can't stand this CVS location on Camino De Estrella.

The pharmacy staff is amazing. Even when my insurance does not cover a specific medication, the pharmacust makes an effort ro find the best discount source available! The checkout staff is equally amazing, especially Joshua, expressing himself with a huge smile and a white streak in his bangs, making me feel warm andtaken care of.
