Good Loving people work here, many of them have been there for decades. They are patient and kind and when your kid is sick or hurt theyll reach out to you when appropriate letting you feel like they've got things under control. Our daughter has loved all her teachers and learned alot in her years here.

My child attended preschool at La Cristianita from ages 2 to 3 years old. From the very beginning I noticed a behavior change and the amount of regret I have for not taking him out then still haunts me.While he attended this school he became very aggressive, mean and learned a whole new vocabulary of disgusting language. Obviously I was concerned and when I reached out to the director (when I could get a hold of her which was rare) I was met hostility- almost as if I was bothering her with my VALID concerns. As my son got older and his vocabulary expanded he told me his teacher once pointed her finger about 1 inch from his face with an angry expression and mean tone and yelled at him. (I'm describing the way he reinacted what she did). Overall my Son felt his teacher didn't like him. It didn't help that every time I dropped him off the teachers looked absolutely miserable. I was rarely met with a hello or good morning. Every morning I got a feeling something was off and unfortunately I was right. I ended up taking him out after I questioned a 400$ charge for 2 days of Summer camp and the director Leigh-Ann basically yelled at me and told me to call her during business hours. My call was at 9am on a Friday... Because she was never available at school, she gave me her cell phone number. When I reached out to her on her cell, she told me she needed to set boundaries with me. I'm not sure why she would give me her cell number then make such an ascinine comment when I did. To be fair I made contact with her approximately 4x throughout my child's 1 year stay with legitimate concerns. I put him in a different preschool and his behavior has completely changed. When I drop him off the teachers love him so much. If he misses a day they call to make sure he's okay. The director is on campus every day and very welcoming. I never officially met the director from LA Cristianita because she NEVER was there. His language and overall behavior has improved immensely. Thank God he is loving and kind again!! I never get a random uncalled for charge at his new school and the tuition is 550$ cheaper for the same service.Sadly this school is a sorry excuse for a Christian school. Basic fundamental Christian values are missing and it shows. One of the biggest regrets I have as a parent is sending my poor son to this school.

Academically, the school has some good qualities. However, this is where it stops. The school seems to be always in a financial mess. While I perfectly understand that pre-schools come with it's fair share of financial challenges, it shouldn't be up to the customer to pay the burden of bad management and overstaffed personnel. Just read the small print for yourself and see their policy regarding closed days, shorts weeks, and holidays. As one of the few remaining "Christian" pre-schools around, it came as a shock to me that activism seems to play a part of their school model. Obnoxious flags hanging in the front seem to contradict the core belief system that Christian's believe in. Some other flags were removed as well, apparently due to the backlash. If your family desires a true Christian pre-school, you may want to look elsewhere.

This is a great place overall. The daycare facility is a little dated but the teaching staff is great, my kids like the place, and they are reasonable with the cost of schooling. I am not Lutheran (I attend the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints down the road), but regardless they are a Christian-based school and I am very comfortable with everything being taught in class. Thank you for the good work being done!
