I went there to laminate my registration for my boat, so I could keep it dry. The lady told me they don't laminate legal documents. She said because it could be altered. I told her this is not a legal document, it's not illegal to laminate these. Not sure why they think they are the judge of what should be laminated or not. I went to Staples. No problem got it laminated.

I love my local San Clemente Office Depot. The staff here is wonderful! Andrea, the manager, juggles a million things with grace and always has a smile and a positive word. Shane is the best in the print center. He knows his stuff and is always willing to help with my print projects until we get it right. Liz is kind and is always willing to help. We are lucky to have such a wonderful, competent team. Thank you to the OD staff for helping me with all my work projects over the years. You are appreciated.

This is a response to Michael T. I was in the store while he was there and the manager was contacting IT at the corporate office because the online ordering system was down and his order couldn't be verified. They treated him very politely letting him know the situation and he was able to pickup his order while I was still in the store. Only a few minutes delay. He wasn't a nice person at all.

I can't express enough how grateful and thankful I am for the staff at Office Depot in San Clemente.I called and visited several times before my visit on 3/3/22, so I am familiar with the awesome customer service here.I had called the printing department earlier to ask about what paper they suggest for my project. The person on the phone was always kind and helpful on what I needed to do before coming in.After purchasing a special kind of card stock and emailing office max my project, I came in on 3/3/22 to finally print my project.I was assisted by Lola at printing - I can't express enough how patient, knowledgeable and kind she is. She helped me adjust my wedding Save the Date project a couple of times before finally getting it right. When she went on break, Andrea, the Store Manager replaced her and helped finish my project. We had an amazing conversation about paper and my project. Andrea had so many suggestions about paper and printing in general to help me understand the process and think of ways to improve it in the future. It was one of the best conversations I've had in a while. She's extremely understanding, patient, positive and cheerful and thorough with her job. She did an amazing job completing what I needed and I saved so much money choosing to print at Office Depot rather than an outside service. Then I also met Sam, a sales representative at the front desk. She really loved my dog and was super welcoming.Like at the front also always welcomes me in each time I come in - it makes a huge difference to be greeted and acknowledged.I can't express enough how amazing the team is at this location. It's a true testimate of Andrea's leadership and guidance as she treats the staff with kindness and open communication - I see how the team works cooperatively and positively together.I hope everyone gets a raise for their hard work as most days the line at printing is super long. Luckily on this day I had the whole store to myself! Thanks to the team!

Never have left a bad review for a business and definitely not the type to do so. But the service i received from the copy and print center was absolutely ridiculous. I am a college student and had to print out a lab manual, my professor as well as other students who have already printed it stated that it was $15. When i arrived the very blonde woman almost white hair (didn't get her name) told me it was $45. When i kindly asked her if she was sure that was the price, she instantly snapped and treated me with so much disrespect. I told her i wasn't interested in arguing and was just confused because other students I know paid a fraction of that cost she then proceeded to say she was the manager and basically told me I didn't know anything. I later called and asked to speak to the manager and come to find out she really wasn't the manager, and all the actual manager had to say is "I will talk to her". I told my professor and lab class to stay far away from this location due to their lack of costumer service. For all my future prints and school supplies I will be driving to the Dana point staples location. I work in customer service and would never be disrespectful to someone in the same situation, but this is woman was horrible.

The staff are rude and shouts too much that everyone hears their negative responses to simple questions .

My boyfriend and I went to pay for our item and the tall older gentleman named Bart was rude. He didn't say hello when we both said hi. When we gave payment he asked if we wanted a receipt, my boyfriend said yes and Bart responded "You have to choose on the pad. I don't know what you want" with a very disrespectful tone of voice. My boyfriend responded sorry I couldn't hear you through the mask. He ignored us and that was the end of our interaction.

I was amazed not only at the quality of the product we recently purchased from Office Depot (Executive Office Chair $120), but their friendly service. They put the chair together for us out of the box (an additional $12-but worth it), they also loaded the chair into the car for my wife. Office Depot will continue to be our first stop for our paper, computer and office supplies. They have great sales going on, too. They people are great. George

I run hundreds of copies, both for travel to Israel and the Footsteps of Paul, as well as Bible study notes. The guys in the print shop are great! And so helpful. Big shout out to Anthony for going the extra mile.

November 14, 2018 Gerry P. Smith CEO Office Depot P.O.Box 5029 Boca Raton FL 33431 Dear Mr. Smith I have been a long, long time Office Depot customer and I think you might be interested in my last encounter with Office Depot. I run a small business from my home office (see www.marketingworkbook.com) and I use a lot of paper and ink, as well as the usual home office supplies. A short while ago, the HP printer I bought from Office Depot long, long ago, rolled over and died. Since it seemed terminal I hiked off to my local Office Depot at 993 Avenida Pico, Plaza Placific, San Clemente to buy a replacement. After talking about what I needed with the store manager, Andrea Tavares (a very nice, very knowledgeable lady), I bought a new HP printer model 6978 for $140.08. Since I was reluctant to simply toss the old printer into a land fill somewhere, I paid an additional $37.70 to recycle the old printer. Now the model 6978 printer is a very sophisticated piece of machinery, I thought it best to have someone from Office Depot set up the new printer and make sure it was working correctly. That charge was $79.99. The problem was that the Office Depot tech left a bunch of problems behind him and the new printer was only partly functional. When I called Office Depot, I was told that a tech visit to repair the tech guy created problem would cost another $99.99, which I paid. The same tech came out and left a new set of problems. When I called to talk about those problems, I was told that I would have to pay full price for every additional visit. Since I had just watched a completely incompetent tech waste $179.98 and I still couldn't print an envelope, I passed on that idea. I now have a private tech who worked out, apparently, all of the problems and that cost me another $150.00 So I have now spent $507.76 to replace an old printer with one that listed at $140.08. I am sure you can understand why I can't afford to use Office Depot as my supplies store any longer. Very truly yours
