This veterinary team was so compassionate, understanding, and supportive during my dog's final days. When it was finally time to say goodbye to our 16 year old fur baby, they gave us all the time and tissues we needed. They made us 2 sets of her paw prints so each of my children could have a keepsake. They even had flowers delivered to our house the next day along with handwritten sympathy notes from each team member. I was blown away and am beyond grateful for all their kindness!

I was referred here when my baby needed an urgent ultrasound. It is always terrifying when your fur baby is sick and in need of urgent care. 4 stars because the gentleman at the desk was really snippy and rude after I had already called and verified that there could be an ultrasound tech available that day. Luckily a lovely woman stepped in and verified that they would try their best. After that all interactions were pleasant, the estimate is explained extremely thoroughly, down to the cents. The facility is EXTREMELY clean, which was a relief upon entering. The facility is really pretty with a huge front desk and bright lighting. The most important thing here is that they helped my baby Harley come back to me healthy.

Dr Steve is a knowledgeable and empathetic vet and he has created a well-run veterinary hospital that feels both compassionate and efficient. A lot of times we are visiting the vet when something is going wrong with our pet so it's not all good news and happy times but receiving extraordinary care that you can trust makes a big difference when making challenging decisions about your beloved pet. We recently moved even further away but still gladly make the drive to see Dr Steve and his team at PCVH. It's absolutely worth it.

New to the area and my pup Beatrice had a cracked tooth. I called and they happened to have a cancellation so I showed up for a consultation. Super professional, transparent with pricing options, thorough with her required updates, and I felt very comfortable handing over my 3 year old ball of energy to them for their car-side service model. She’s now had her tooth extraction within a reasonable schedule to get her in for the urgent-but-not-emergency surgery and came back for her follow-up. Super thorough, professional, and a great deal of care for my dog and we are now coming here as our primary vet!

We love this vet office! Our puppy has been seen here since 9 weeks old and he's turning 1 year old next month - we've loved the experience and our dog is always so excited to visit when needed (and when we have to go unexpectedly). We are so thankful for the doctors, assistants and staff. The trust, knowledge, safety and care (for our pet and for us) is priceless.

We feel so lucky to have found Pacific Coast Vet Hospital! They not only moved mountains to fit our dog into be seen when she was suffering from a scary health crisis, they are also caring, professional and amazing at communicating. They worked hard to keep us up to date on our dog's status and prognosis and educated us on how to best treat her condition moving forward. They gracefully walked that very tricky line between providing the very best care and also being conscious of cost (for example by canceling extra tests when they could, finding a less expensive alternative when possible, etc). I am 100% certain our dog is alive today because of their care and we look forward to them providing her care for years to come. Thank you Dr. Scibelli and Dr McCarthy and all the team that helped our pup through her scariest moments!

We called to make an appointment because we had heard good things but decided against it when we were told they are a "curbside" vet only. Apparently you aren't allowed to come in with your pet and they collect your pet from your car. No thanks.

Boo really wanted to type this himself, but he is Super Sr. Cat + cats can't type. Boo takes me here 2x/week for his Kidney Care hydration cause at dad's house he screams like he is being slowly eaten by a demon, which is not the case at all. As a drama King, he likes to have his way and has figured out that sounding like a murder victim is the best way to get to a professional for IV hydration sessions 2x per week, not in HIS house. HOW DARE I. These folks care, if you do. GO here. Boo the 12 lb, 19 yr old cat says so!

If you care about your animals, you will bring them to Dr. McCarthy. She is honest, caring, professional; and overall excellent at her job. The office staff is stellar, and I have yet to meet anyone with a bad attitude. You will not regret bringing your pets here!

The Doctors and staff at Pacific Coast Veterinary Hospital have been amazing throughout our pet's life.Dr. Gertmenian has seen our beloved dog many, many times and under a variety of circumstances and in all cases she has been compassionate, knowledgeable, and helpful in presenting the options for our pet's best care.After over 14 years, our pet finally reached a point where uncomfortable options needed to be discussed. PCVH helped us through this difficult time (and even sent flowers following a very difficult day).At some point we will be ready for another canine member of the family. It's good to know that Dr. G and the team at PCVH will be there to support us! They are the absolute best!!

Dr. Scibelli, Dr. Gertmanian and the entire team have provided amazing professional and compassionate care for our dog for over 12 years. The PCVH family have always been kind, straightforward and helpful in guiding us through his care and ultimately in providing fact based and emotional reassurance through his recent end of life. This team truly care about their patients and families.
