I wouldn’t even think about buying another board anywhere else! James was incredibly helpful and patient with me throughout the purchasing process, I was STOKED when I walked out, like I got the best outcome possible. Not only did he explain the mechanics and shapes of all the boards but also the fins too! I had no idea why I would use a particular fin to yield a specific outcome but he helped me understand ALL of it. I’m glad I stopped in and walked out with two new boards to the quiver!

Needed a few things to prep for a surf trip and left with a new surfboard lol. Came here to grab wax, sunscreen, and ding repair before a trip to Mexico. The staff helped us find anything we need. The remodel looks great! Everything you need is accessible on one floor and the space looks beautiful and modern. The prices on the catch surf skipper was good so we bought a board. They helped us check out and even advised us to use the 15% off you get after buying a board on a few friends purchases!

This past week my husband and I had the pleasure of wandering into this Rip curl store looking for fun Californian clothing. We feel like we hit the jackpot!!! Not only were the clothes, hats, sunglasses, and shoes amazing but the employees were extremely welcoming and kind. James Harrah must be the manager because he was so knowledgeable and had such a great eye for both men's and women's apparel. I think this will be our only destination for fashion from now on! Thank you Rip Curl San Clemente!

I bought a new surfboard and received first class service from Matthew. He made some great recommendations and suggestions. After selection he perfectly aligned and installed the deck pad, making sure that the deck was properly cleaned with alcohol first. Then installed the fins, which can be challengingly tight on a fresh board. These small details matter, especially in a time when many companies have many excuses for lackluster service. I would definitely buy my next board from this shop. Thank you Matthew.

I called them up. Off the board manufacturers distributor list. 2 mins off freeway. They had what I wanted in stock. They set me up with a board, bag, leash, and pad for my kid. They installed and set up everything. I was in and out of there in 40 minutes Their prices were fair and they had discount after discount on accessories and hats cuz I bought a board. The service was excellent, and they knew what they were doing cuz they had great advise and options. The guys were fun and friendly which just the way I like my shopping experiences to be. Well done guys, and thanks. You made my kids Xmas very special and I really appreciate it.

Went to the oulet to find some STELLER deals a couple days ago! When I am not singing or playing guitar, OOO LAAA DOOO, I love to dip my toes into some ocean water #slaterhater! While I was shopping for some killer deals, a man with lucious, beautiful hair (that I wanted to braid) came out of no where and asked me how I was doing! After been pretty much locked in my parents basement for coming on two years (cause of covid) I was very excited to be having an actual HUMAN conversation! laugh out loud. #screwzoom I think this awesome young man name was ace or chace, he said he played in a band but he didn't realize he was standing in front of an A list celebrity, I did not want to pull down my mask because 1. not trying to sign a bunch of autographs and 2. was NOT trying to cause a scene! But if he only knew.... he helped me find some rockin' swim shorts and a matching tee-shirt to go in the water with #swag #whip #nay-nay #longhairdontcare OVERALL BEST EXPIRENCE EVER!! #Aceneedsaraise!

Been working with James on a special order board and he has been awesome throughout the process. Took the time to answer questions, follow up, and has been super patient to get me dialed in. Haven’t had an experience like that at a surf shop before, you all have a great thing going!
