Terrible worker. Didn’t get his name. But African. Either doesn’t speak English well or that’s his culture. Would not show me an item I asked five times. Just stood there with a smirk on his face. You know that smile they do. A customer said I think it’s this one. It was not. Because I warned im going to open it and if it has meat I’m not going to keep paying for the taquito. As I don’t eat meat. Lo and Behold it has meat. He rung it up anyway. That’s when I got snappy with him. His coworker another African and everyone heard because they can hear from beginning what occurred that literally I been asking for you to point out EXACTLY which has no meat in it. Which is the jalapeño and cheese one. That’s all I’m asking. Because they aren’t placed correctly with their sign. So I don’t keep touching them and having to pay for it. He wouldn’t budge I don’t get that encounter. Anyhow, I said I’m paying just for the one and that’s it that I already touched and opened and discovered meat in but anything else no because I had asked you to help me and show me exactly which does not. And you refused like a weirdo. He was so slow and incompetent about it. Not sure if it’s their culture they don’t respect women but not all Africans act like him. But I have surprisingly encountered weird Africans like him. Foreigners in general are weird when they act like that. Distant and quiet and odd and incompetent. It makes the customer service experience UNBEARABLE. At least the Middle Easterns working there before them because I been going here years as I live downtown, even though they had accents too were a lot more customer service friendly I’ll give them that. This minor simple encounter didn’t at all need to go like this. You help your customers when they have a question.

Fair prices with friendly service, new staff treat even homeless persons with respect. Old staff used to have physical altercations with the homeless and disrespected anyone that they thought were homeless! Been a customer of this 7-11 for over 5 years. The improvements in staffing are incredible.

Definitely not 24 hours. I try to stop in on my way to work sometimes around 4:30 and the guy is at the counter is playing on his phone with the doors locked. How does a chain like this get away with paying people to keep the doors locked and not provide service and get away with it?

Unfortunately this is that 7-Eleven that attracts a transient community that is not always nice or stable minded. I'm not insensitive to houselessness or homelessness. With so much crap that people take working at convenience stores. In my opinion you should only be hired if you are a Jiu-Jitsu, black belt, MMA, CIA, SEAL training or all of them together kinda skills. I must give kudos to the staff that work here. It was 630 on Saturday, 11/25/2022. Two staff people were working (male and female). In five minutes the following happened: They were threatened, they were called heinous names, they were stolen from, they were verbally attacked, they were provoked, and then re-threatened. And... Both were so non-bothered and simply continued to help the other customers that have their wits about them. Applause. Security needs to be invested to patrol this area because this type of behavior to employees in my opinion is considered abusive and the owner should do what is right for his employees. And this 7-Eleven does a lot to maintain order and cleanliness despite the above experience. You have the power to create shape and mold your reality don't rely on a universe rely on your action.

This place is hit or miss with the hot food. You’ll either get there at just the right time and the food will be hot and fresh or (and this is the more likely outcome) you’ll be disappointed as you bite down on mummified pizza and chicken nuggets. When I eat these items I should not have to worry about breaking a tooth, but that is sadly not the case. The solution? Keep track of the hot items and pull food that has not sold after a certain amount of time. This would keep food fresh and customers happy.

This 711 is NOT open 24 hours. Please stop reporting that lie to the public. The store closes its doors at 1AM until 5AM. THAT'S NOT 24 HOURS.ONCE AGAIN, CLOSING FOR SANITATION OR ANY OTHER REASON MEANS YOU ARE NOT A 24 HOUR STORE! STOP SAYING YOUR DOORS ARE ALWAYS OPEN! DUH! YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS.
