This is the only car rental company in SD I use now that I've tried all the national companies for years. Very friendly, efficient people, the cars are fine, the whole thing is very easy, comfortable, and affordable. Dude even told me where the cheapest gas in the area is (Tam Junction) and he was right.

Sent me a confirmation on the car rental. We walked to the pickup spot and called them. They said they didnt have a car available until later in the day. I booked a 10am pickup. They said they'd have a car for us at 3pm.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT do business with this company. Don't be swayed by their low prices. Their cars are filthy, and worn down. Worst of all, they will keep your deposit. They will claim that you returned their vehicle with damage which coincidentally will be the exact amount of your deposit. Good luck getting a hold of them over the phone. They will keep you on hold and then hang up on you. They also operate under the name Airport Car Rental, Inc. Stay away! You've been warned.

100%, absolutely do NOT use this company. They took two hours to pick me up from the airport, didn't give me the right car, and were very shady. They take a $500 deposit, which THEY DON'T GIVE BACK. I called them 10+ times, and they never helped me. Spend the extra money and go with a real company.

Beware! They will rip you off including your Deposit of $600.00 dollars! It's A Shame to have a Co. Like this, that puts a " bad Mouth" in í French tourist that came to Southern CA to spend 10 days and found after signing off on his return Contract that his $600 deposit was taken out of his bank account without his authorization. No justification was provided, they pretended that their was a nail in the tires but that not a reason to cash in on the deposit ! Try to dispute it, No Vain! Please be careful dealing with " Tommy Miller " he is a Stonner and can't remember any transactions cause he is in the " Cloud" most of the time! Again! BEWARE!

These people are scammers... They engage in bait and stitch practices, steal from you by taking your money and not returning it, and give you dangerously bad maintained cars. They rented me a car with bold tires well under the required limit by the state. The tires blew up on the highway... they didn't even ask me if I got hurt. Their only concern was how much the tire replacement would cost them. They asked me to pay for the tires and would re-emburse me but never did. They won't even return calls. I'm suing them for damages. Anyone interested in a collective law suit feel free to contact me or email at

Zero stars. Very awful experience. "A+" is the same as "Airport Car Rental" = DO NOT TRUST. I promise you... It's worth it to take your business elsewhere. Don't waste your time, energy, emotions, or money. They'll try their best to steal your deposit from you!

Please stay away. These guys are scammers and will ignore all your calls. I had rented a minivan for $56 a day for 1 day and everything was fine until they took $421 dollars from my security deposit. Mind you this van was an old toyota sienna and the AC barely worked with over 200000 miles on it. I kept calling and calling to try and resolve this issue but continued to be ignored even when i walked into the lot. They claim that i drove over 400 miles(in one day) and had smoked in the car(which i didnt, because who is stupid enough to do that in a rental?!). I am currently waiting for a response from the BBB and in the process of taking this to small claims court to get this resolved. Do not fall for their “low pricingâ€

DO NOT RENT from this business. They are totally sketchy. They are not located at the airport. They will pick you up in an unlabeled vehicle. They are not consistently at their rental location when they are supposed to be open. I tried to return my rental and no one was there. I called the number on their signs, to contact someone. I was told the driver would be there in 10 minutes and was coming from the airport. I was then called back 20 minutes later and told it would be another 40 minutes, because the driver was in La Jolla. I was told to take an Uber and it would not be covered and just leave the keys under the seat. They take out large deposits that they keep and only return in the 1st and 15th of each month. They will also scam money out of your deposit. I was charged for an extra day even though no one was there to check in the car at the correct time and was charged based off of when they checked in the car. I also was never provided any car return paperwork or emails to notify me of the additional charge. They will hang up on you when you call and not return messages once they have given their "explanations".

As A retired Police Chief, I sincerely hope that people who read this use caution in renting from this establishment. It is so bad, I have wrote the California Attorney General, requesting that they Investigate this companies, business practices. Not just for financial banking transactions, but for Automobile Safety reasons. On Dec 30, 2017 I had to return my enterprise rental since they would be closed on 12/31 and 1/1. In desperation, since we did not know they would be closed, we found the nearest car rental close to our Hilton Hotel. A+ was it and we rented the vehicle a midsize vehicle, the vehicle was literally a wreck, body parts ready to fall off it! I said no thank you and the only other vehicle was a Mustang Conv. Got into it and the accelerator pedal would stick and car had no shocks..... Again changed car now to a Economy vehicle, the tires literally were balled, and surely un-safe. The next day direct from the hotel, we returned it Finally we got into a Chevy Conv, Now remember there are different prices for vehicle type and the ones applied to my account did not comply with the ads. I left a Security Deposit on my card of $500.00 and went to my meetings. We returned the car and was advised the deposit is returned on the 1st and the 15th of every month? In other words they literally took from my account $500.00 cash money, they did not place a hold on the card, as normally done. Apparently they take $500.00 dollars of your money, put it in their account, not security deposit account. This was they run their business on your money, that apparently you have loaned them, without you're consent. It took me until the 20th of January 2018 to get back my money, and when I do $115.00 is deducted with explanation? When I call 22 times over a weeks time, I'm given excuses and no accountability of their actions. I finally sent the complaint to their state attorney General and alleged that this is a " Deceptive Trade Practice" and that the State is allowing them to operate " Un-Safe Motor Vehicles on their state and federal roads and highways. Good Luck, if you do not listen to all the reviews!

SCAMMERS Please also check the profile for Airport Car Rental- just an alias for the same agency. These guys will rent you a not-so-gently used vehicle, then find a made up reason to keep your deposit. I returned a car with no damage, received a notice one month later for a $1000 bill due to a fictional 'windshield replacement'. Many examples on Yelp and google reviews of others who have had the same experience. Avoid these small time crooks.

This is the same as Airport Car Rental under an alias. Please check that agency's reviews for the many many reports of their go-to scam: waiting for weeks after the return of a car to then claim that there were damages and refusing to return security deposit and charging extra on top.
