Absolutely rude! Was very much looking forward to sending with Allen's but the the phone call I received from them left me canceling my order. Shy spoke over me several times, was incredible rude during our conversation, and wouldn't deliver on the schedule they promised. Wouldn't recommend on service alone. Disappointing. __ Sam, that's not exactly how that went, unfortunately. Shy called to let me know that my recipient was not hospitalized today, which I already knew. This is why I scheduled the arrangement delivery for the day the individual would be there. Your team told me the delivery would not deliver tomorrow, as scheduled, and may not even deliver for two days, which would be beyond the duration of hospitalization, unless left at the front which, by the tone Shy took, I gathered would never arrive to the recipient. While the information she shared was intended to be thoughtful, the presentation and delivery was beyond poor, making it clear that Allen's lacked care for the purpose this business exists: spreading joy. I've selected another florist, one who will get the delivery to the recipient on time and as requested.

1st Picture: Allen’s Flowers // 2nd Picture: Everbloom FlowersThis is my first time receiving flowers from Allen’s Flowers. My husband usually buys me flowers every 2-3 weeks. Since we just moved to San Diego, he sends me flowers from different shops each time. He usually sends me long-stemmed red roses. The ones I got from here are probably my least favorite ones so far. The arrangement just seemed thrown together and the roses weren’t the best quality compared to others I’ve received. They’re also shorter than other ‘long-stemmed roses’. The 2nd picture I’ve uploaded (with baby’s breath) are the last roses I’ve received from Everbloom Flower Shop and they were the same price, but arranged much nicer, with better quality roses, and taller.I also had issues with delivery - they never called me to say they delivered my flowers other than receiving an email hours later. It was also a hassle trying to call them because they don’t allow you to leave voicemails, so if no one answers after a minute, the call will automatically hang up.Red roses wise - they’re ok. But I don’t think it’s worth it for the price from this place when you can get better ones at other shops. Their other arrangements are probably much better. But I’d personally look elsewhere.

Flowers were supposed to be delivered as close to the end of the day as possible. Instead they were delivered first thing in the morning, so they'll be sitting in the sun all day until my GF gets home. But before that, the driver somehow couldn't manager to find the address. And called me, twice, but left no VM. Brilliant.

I love this place. Staff is always super friendly and never pushy. 5 sunflowers for only $6! Also lots of reasonably priced potted plants well

A RUINED CHRISTMAS GIFT This is the first time I have used Allen's Flowers. I decided upon this florist due to their excellent reviews. My experience was quite different. I ordered a "long, low centerpiece" for a close friend's Christmas dinner for 12 persons. As this was also a Christmas gift, I was willing to spend $250. When my friend discovered the arrangement at the front door (no knock or call to the cellphone number listed on the front of the card) he called me immediately. The photo of the arrangement defied any definition of "low" centerpiece. At 2 ft. high, it would have blocked the sight view of the guests trying to speak to one another over the arrangement. He also called the florist and explained the situation. All he receive was a question of whether the flowers were fresh; no response to his complaint that he could NOT use the this as a centerpiece. My conversation with Is, the manage of Customer Service, was no more satisfying. We spent 10 minutes discussing whether the photos of the arrangement looked like a "low" arrangement. I was exasperated by Si's unwillingness to 'hear' me and her insistence that this was a low arrangement. Just as I concluded a most unsatisfactory conversation with Is, she offered me a 50% refund. At that point, I was so angry that I explained that I wasn't looking for financial compensation. If I was, 50% would have seemed like an insult to the entire situation! Beware of this florist !!!

I decided to stop by since I'm always walking by and I was greeted warmly by all three staff members who were working that day. I mentioned to them that it was my first time here and they took the time, although they looked extremely busy, to show me their inventory, what they personally like, what's seasonal etc. The selection is pretty good (at least to someone who doesn't know much about flowers). They had flowers designated for different occasions. More importantly I wasn't blown back by their prices meaning, it was moderately priced in my opinion. I didn't end up buying anything on this trip but I did note of a few ones I will be coming back to purchase for sure. They have a deal with 50% all loose flowers from 3pm to close. Which is pretty neat. I like to gift myself flowers as it brightens up my day and I think that's a deal I'll definitely take advantage of! It's a 5 out of 5 just by my interaction. But it gets a 3 right now because I didn't do any transaction. When I stop back to purchase I'll update stars and rating!

I send flowers to my aunt from Allen's just to make her happy. She just turned 96 yrs old. Allen's delivered a beautiful bouquet. I live 3000 miles away and I can count on Allen's Florist to always make her day special. Thank you for always sending the most beautiful fresh flowers. I really appreciate the great service.

Ordered a Christmas bouquet. Opted for delivery by 5 at no extra cost and it ended up being delivered around 11am. Arrangement was beautiful and just as pictured on their website.

I will say i have been a client if Allen's flowers for 15+ years, with excellent service and flowers until today. I placed an order for pink roses, i needed to pick them up because the type of arrangement was not deliverable. I arrived to find my arrangement inferior to their usual. The rose petals were brownish on the edges and were not pink, they were yellowish and sad looking. I would be embarrassed to give this bouquet. When i talked to the person about them she said that is what i ordered. I know i ordered pink... Then i saw a picture of an arrangement on the wall mentioning i thought i was going to get those types of flowers. She said they can redo it with those. After several attempts because they didn't have enough I finally was ok with a different color but the flowers were beautiful. I was surprised they they were giving me a bucket to keep the flowers hydrated, thinking like in the past, the stems had a water "tube" . I requested the tubes, finally getting them. I don't know if it was an off day. But wondered if the company was sold and now have a different standard.
