6533 El Cajon Blvd. it's a hidden treasure thrift store new items daily outstanding staff the prices are right you'll leave with a carload that won't empty your pocket. Daily specials. Not like your other local chain thrift stores this place caters to San Diego and it's a nonprofit.

Great selection , great prices . Helpful staff.I had never been at this store before. It is well organized. My only issue is that they didn't have a restroom to use. It's the same BS since Covid personally we should stop doing business with any company who is still pulling that card.

Shopped for years at previous location and new location is SUPER! Staff is always kind and down to earth. Appreciate all they do for the community

Terrific people. Always helpful. Used to go to Goodwill. Goodwill is unhelpful and rejects a lot of perfectly decent donations.

Stopped in today to check out their new store at their new location at 6533 El Cajon Blvd, just one block west of Rolando Blvd. It is a very spacious, beautiful store and it gets plenty of natural light, so it is easy to see all the precious finds during your thrifting safari. There are many more boutique items, but plenty of the usual categories of finds too. Everything is very well-organized and displayed nicely. Don't miss out on a great new store!!

This was my favorite San Diego thrift for really cheap prices and massive selection. The clothes were fairly well organized but there was stuff packed in everywhere. Made it a fun adventure to go find some really basic piece I needed for a vacation or an element of a costume for a party. Any kitchen item or accessory you could find there. I'm really sad that it's closed. Thrift stores like this just don't exist anymore, and you have to worry about supporting for-profit entities like Goodwill. Hope I can find another spot to keep shopping sustainably (and affordably) in my neighborhood. RIP Alliance!!!

Found something of value hidden behind other things and it was priced good at $3.00. I didn't even realize it was a treasure "name brand" just was going to be used for an art project. Got to the register and a very unprofessional guy finally waited on me after what seemed to be him arguing in Spanish with another lady customer before me who also walked out not buying anything. Once the cashier grabbed the item I wanted to purchase, he crazy eyed looked at it and said this is the real deal and someone changed the price on it. ??? What do you mean I asked? Was only a few bucks difference at $5. But now it was more the principal of it after he looked at me and said SOOO NOW WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO HERE? I said never mind and walked out without it. SAD BECAUSE I HAVE PURCHASED MANY OTHER THINGS OVER THE YEARS HERE and Being an artist and wanting it so decided to go all the way back an hour or so later. Guess what.... Cashier put it back on the shelf "he says" and it got Bought up quickly all the sudden.BULLSH*T. SHADY STUFF. Will never be back. Been in San Diego for 50years now and have lot of family and friends plus others will all hear about my experience at this thrift shop. Bad spreads way faster than good as we all know.

I donate here several times a year. Today I brought a bag of clothing in the back door and the fellow came to take it but when I asked for a receipt he smirked and held his smirk the entire time. He begrudgingly gave me a receipt and scribbled his name which looked like Al and then walked away without exchanging any pleasantry at all. I donate pretty good stuff usually and sometimes new stuff in quantity. I will never donate here again. I would throw it away first. A receipt is the ONLY incentive most people have to donate. Why would you resent providing it?

Good stuff for sale but staff was extremely rude. They were nice to other customers but when I checked out the cashier practically ignored me. Didn't even respond when I said thank you. Probably because I look like a boy and was buying women's shoes. They should be nicer to all customers if they want to stay in business.
