Pretty good and clean gym. Has just about anything you might need for an individual workout. Nothing fancy, but very practical equipment including several squat racks. Staff keeps this 24 hour gym clean even in the early morning! Good value

This is a convenient location gym with new machines and clean areas, has all the equipment required to have good and complete routines for all the body, they also have two high end massage guns available during business hours, which for me it's a highlight. Cons: this is a small basement gym, you should pay for parking, and there's not proper bike parking either.

The restrooms are always dirty. I've been in the mornings and three times the toilets were disgusting. I've always went multiple times in the afternoon. Toilet paper and trash just scattered in the restrooms. Still dirty when I see the staff touring people.I also feel like the ladies who are employed don't do much but sit in the office. They're always sitting via my entire workout. Especially when they can be doing bathroom checks or ensuring the cleaning wipes are stocked. I've been to multiple locations where I see staff working or engaging with the members. The amount of squat racks is nice but not enough barbell clips. Very limited in amount of plates, I always see people having to grab it from other machines and not re-racking weights. They do have all the machines you need. Two full sets of cables which are nice.

This review is for the downtown San Diego location. The rating is low because of what I was told and the application process/results. Here you go...Membership: you get what you pay for. I pay roughly double what I do for an LA Fitness lifetime membership (that price locked in about ten years ago). Monthly payments and I will likely cancel it just before the one-year period. I picked this place because there are no lower-priced alternatives close to my employer, and I like to train before work. I signed up at the Point Loma location, but the person that took my application got my name and e-mail address wrong. The individual could not correct it then, promised to correct it, and never did. After several phone calls (you can get ahold of someone at corporate, which is good) that was fixed. But the semi-annual fee was wrong and this will necessitate a visit to the club, for which I don't have time.Facility: machines are all newer and in good shape. You park in a garage next to the club and go through a lobby, down into the basement. I stopped in on a Thursday mid-morning and it was pretty busy, but not over-crowded. I told the person on site I would be working out between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. The response was "you're going to be one of only two or three here" and "you'll see me those days before you leave". Both of those statements were flat-out wrong. Never seen any staff member before 7:00 a.m. except a trainer, once. The place has a minimum of 10-15 people every morning which is bearable. They have two stand-alone restrooms and four that are individual restrooms/showers. Showers sometimes have hair in the drains. Sinks have sensors that go on and off which are annoying, and there are no paper towels. Most of the time you can get a shower, but you can't store a larger gym bag in the small lockups nor hang clothes at all. This means you have to go back up 4+ stories to get your stuff, come back down, and hope that one of the four are not occupied. Been burnt several times like this and had to shower at work. Give yourself time for this. They have sanitizing wipes which is great. The bathroom floors are disgusting; they have black filth and need a serious scrub.Members: people keep to themselves. Nearly all are cool. Couple of the guys get territorial and angry if you mistakenly try to use one of the three pieces of equipment that they are cross-training on. Only one body-builder type that grunts loudly and drops/slams weights; I counter this with full covered headsets (he also parks in the non-reserved spot). One older woman that will walk and bump right into you if you don't dodge her; I have an arthritic knee that acts up.Overall: again, you get what you pay for. I'll be cancelling after a year.

I recently went in for a tour and Sabrina was absolutely rude. She couldn't even bother to be there. The gym Smelt really weird and bathrooms were gross. I will definitely be working out else where.

Super nice clean gym, the 24h pass was 20$ which is in my opinion reasonable.

Joined about a year ago and can’t wait until my contract is up. The gym itself is serviceable, although tiny. However, the bathrooms are almost always in a state of disaster. Toilet paper everywhere, shower heads missing, clogged toilets, no running water, dirty floors, BUGS. They’re cleaned once a day I, but it’s not enough. The staff must have their own bathrooms to use or they simply don’t care. Switching gyms soon because I prefer to shower and go straight to work. For the price I’m paying I expected a far better experience. The photos below were taken on the same day. Nearly every bathroom had something awful going on. The one currently infested with bugs was being used

Just joined the gym after an injury and having to cancel my powerlifting sadly. The staff was very friendly and parking is safe and secure. The gym is clean and a decent size with all the essentials you need. Plus there is a blue bottle cafe a floor above which is a plus if you’re a coffee drinker.

Perfect spot if you frequent/work downtown. Parking is validated for the hour makes the flow of people perfect and doesn't get too crowded. Great selection of equipment and its located in a secure place with great healthy food options!

Sabrina and her staff were so kind and wonderful. I was in town for work for a week, the first day I walked in I was greeted with a welcoming smile and got all the information/registered for the week in a timely fashion. The gym is a little smaller in size, however not so small that you feel like you’re on top of anyone else. It’s very clean and also has everything you need. I was doing my own work outs, but the trainers there were also very busy with their clients. If I lived in San Diego, I would definitely choose to work out at this gym and I would absolutely work with those trainers! Thanks for a great stay!

I've been to over 100 Anytime fitness gyms in my life and I can confidently say that this one is the nicest one. It's brand new and it has every machine you'll ever need.it has great lighting, a good sized turf area and the only ATF that I've been to that has a stretch and recover room. 100% recommend this gym

I've been using this gym since it opened a year ago. Hands down the best gym for all that you get! What is it that you get? Well, you get a great centralized location, secure FREE parking, brand new gym equipment, super clean facility, awesome value, 24/7 access, and exceptional staff! This place knows how to show up. The personal training they offer is totally on point - they have several trainers and all are great! I see Andrew on a weekly basis and he is excellent. From the very beginning, I could tell that he was in it with me as I decided to start a journey toward elevated health. He invests just as much in you as you decide to invest in yourself - you've got to bring it too! If you want to take your health to the next level, I encourage you to check this place out. In my experience, you will NOT be disappointed!
