Apex did an excellent job after we experienced a sewer backup that flooded our downstairs bathroom, extending into the laundry room and adjacent office. We also had a leak in our upstairs toilet that severely damaged the bathroom floor. Their team promptly mitigated the flood damage, skillfully removed the affected areas (including handling asbestos), and rebuilt both bathrooms beautifully. Despite some challenges with project management transitions and being understaffed and overbooked, they delivered with integrity and attention to detail. We’d like to especially thank Fonzie Cruz, Roberto, Kyle, Joe Willardson, Guillermo, and Bill for their hard work, and Jaime and Bill for returning to finalize the finishing touches. We truly appreciated the extra mile Apex went for us!

Made a call to apex for a person with disability to get an estimate on bathroom vanity replacement and some drywall do to a flood . They seemed really interested . They asked about insurance and when I said said no insurance involved you can clearly her voice change . Then I was told that an estimator was going to reach out . Going on over two weeks no call. They just want to insurance claims I gather. So unprofessional and rude . Better off supporting smaller companies! Would give a negative 5 stars if was available!

Worse company I’ve ever dealt with. Although their contract was with me, they would only communicate and do the bidding of the insurance company. I could not information. Some of the items they packed and took away were not returned or broken when I unpacked. They were very rude and did not want to compensate me. One of the missing items was the ashes of my beloved dog. They swore they had a policy not to take ashes, but could not say where the box was when everything else on the same table was packed and the table removed. They claimed to have a policy that they were not responsible for broken items if they did not d the unpacking. The policies were the best kept secret because no one mentioned them to me. When they delivered my boxes and I said I would unpack at my leisure, they failed to inform me that if I did they would not take responsibility. If I had been told, I would have let them unpack. Overall, they were rude, noncommunicative, and deceitful.

These guys were great! I wanted to give a shout-out for Raymundo Reyes and Fabian Ramirez! They returned all of our belongings after Apex restored our garage from a slab leak. They were on time, courteous and very helpful. Thanks guys!

Excellent! Reliable & Professional. I highly recommend. We had water damage in our home caused by a slab leak. Our insurance tried to short us on coverage, Anthony provided us with all the detailed estimates and paperwork we needed and helped us get more money from our insurance to cover the costs. Work was completed in a timely manner and was great. Thank You!

A water leak in my upstairs bathroom turned into a mess in my downstairs bathroom. APEX was referred to me by my plumbing company and Alfonso and Austin came that day to start the dry out -- Very professional, pleasant and communicative. I recieved an estimate for the restoration from Kyle at APEX and plan to use them for this too. I'll update the review with photos when the restoration is complete.

The people working here, including Michael Montesdeoca are professionals ? and quick to respond. I had the pleasure of meeting lead tech Michael; it is apparent that customer satisfaction is his goal. The price is competitive & presented by line item in writing so you will have a clear understanding of the services you will receive. Highly recommended! Look no farther. Do make sure to check them out first for your troubleshooting needs.

What can I say? If you want a hellscape of a project, go with Apex.
Here are some things you might expect to encounter based on my experience:
1. Demolition debris left in your front yard until you finally have to complain about it at the end of the week to get it removed.
2. Extremely protracted scheduling making sure your project drags on as long as possible.
3. Employees showing up in personal vehicles, plus regular Home Depot trips because they do not have the proper supplies for the project.
4. The wife of an employee texting you on the weekend demanding to know who you are.
5. Employees showing up smelling like alcohol.
6. No contaminants some days, or poorly built contaminants other days, assuring your HVAC is filled with dust.
7. Persistent leakage problems throughout the project that continue to persist because of simply running silicone on top of silicone instead of properly cleaning and installing correctly.
8. Charging you for N95 masks despite not a single worker ever wearing a mask throughout the entire scope of the project
9. Slow response times and not calling back until they want to get paid.
10. Giving you the landlord special by painting over hardware instead of removing and then painting.
11. Putting insulation only ⅔ of the way up the wall (the ⅓ they try not to put it in is the part that you can’t see unless you get down on your hands and knees to inspect.)
12. Saying cupboards are finished while leaving giant gaping gaps and holes all the way down to the subfloor. Of course, these parts are easily missed because again you have to get on your hands and knees to check.
I’ve provided a few visuals to help you understand the quality of craftsmanship, or lack thereof that you should expect from your project with Apex.

Apex is one of the most professional restoration companies I have seen so far. When my bathroom flooded due to faulty grouting, they were the ones to demolish the wall, and then after the subcontractor finished grouting, Apex put back the walls and reset the toilets again. They did the cleanest demolition job ever! I could not believe it when the technician Alphonso Cruz told me there would be no dust elsewhere in the bedroom or even outside the area of work. But he did it! He was meticulous in covering up every appliance and counter prior to demolishing the wall, and cleaned up so well afterwards. After the grout fix was done, Alphonso came back to perform the water test and made sure there was no leak, before telling us we could proceed with the restoration work. The restorers were also just as precise. They came on time everyday they said they would come. In one case, they even agreed to come earlier than previously agreed, to accommodate my schedule. And again, very clean work! All in all, many thanks to the company, I rate them very highly!

Apex contracting & restoration is the best on customer service. Called about minor repairs on the installation and they have scheduled someone to check it out. They are very efficient and dependable. Thank you

Very rude people, horrible services! Their customers service is completely unprofessional and self centered. I was hoping because they were lacking in customer service so bad after the job was started, of course, hopefully they at least knew what they were doing?!? CLEARLY not the case. Don’t waste your money!! You won’t regret going with someone else!

Apex apparently operates its demolition unit separately from its restoration unit. Following a dishwasher leak in our kitchen, our plumber, ************, recommended Apex to do the necessary demolition of water damaged cabinetry, drywall and moulding. The demolition crew responded quickly and I have nothing but good things to say about the courtesy, responsiveness and professionalism of that crew. Unfortunately, a strip of moulding along the patio door that showed the presence of some moisture near its bottom was included in the materials removed and carted away. The moulding did not appear warped, so I don't know if it was necessary to destroy that piece of wood. Being very satisfied with the demolition side of the project, my intent was to hire Apex to restore the insulation, drywall and the strip of moulding before another firm came in to rebuild the rest of the kitchen. Their bid for the work, which included replacing/refinishing the moulding was over $300 higher than the bid from the drywaller we ultimately hired. We would have gone with Apex's bid, but it took several days and several inquiries to finally get the emailed contract agreement from ************* staff. That was the only reason we obtained the second bid. And, now that the insulation and drywall project is completed and the only thing needing replacement is the strip of moulding, Apex is no longer interested in doing the work unless we were to pay an $800 minimum fee.
