I had the worst experience here at this location. Just bought my car and correct me if I’m wrong but first of all the entrance to this place sucks big time you have to enter t an angle aside from that the person guiding you rite…(example) turn yr wheels, stop, wait!, put car in neutral. Make sure the vehicle is on the tracks then put in neutral well not this nite. I was being told to turn my wheel turn turn then the guy kinda pointed behind him but not like telling me to read the sign behind him because usually they have a sign that says ok drive, put yr car in neutral something besides just pointing at the sign then walks away he says to get me an air freshener! Screw the air freshener make sure my tires are on the tracks properly ms my car is in neutral! So then my car runs off the tracks unto the tire scrubbing thingy and damages my bumper and mud melts the mud flap and broke the clips where now I have to buy a new bumper! I had my car not even 5 days and this happens. Worst part is I’m told from looking at the footage that I am told to do the exact directions that I mentioned earlier and I failed to do so. Ok so then I get the number to their claims department and they contact me “mind you footage looked at minutes after the incident” claims contacts me via email and says after looking at the footage it shows clearly that you are distracted by yr cell phone( never was my fone mentioned as in having a part the first time when they looked at footage the first time) there for are denying yr claim but if yr insurance agent wants to look at “photos” they have to contact us. My agent tried contacting them NOTHING. My agent had to call me and tell me try and get ahold of the person and get a direct number so they can request footage not fotos. I tried and I never got an email back fone call nothing! So yeah this place and some of its employees are incompetent msg yr while company or the claims department are so freaking wrong for not taking responsibility for yr employees actions. You make sooo much $$ and yet you are letting an ex- customer come out of pocket and fix all because yr employee did not make sure my tires where on the tracks and my car in neutral before he turned away from my car! Someone at another car wash said “if that was me then that means I didn’t do my job because that is why we are there guiding the customer for stuff like that not to happen” ENOUGH SAID!

I paid 35 bucks a month for unlimited Platinum the best wash you can get plus they have free vacuum so can't really beat it I was paying only $25 in Arizona for their platinum wash but that's okay this is in Arizona Dorothy you're not in Arizona anymore You're in California so pull your pocketbook out and get ready to spend that money oh and I really like soapy Joe's because I give you a free they give you a free car freshener

This location is way better than the one in La Mesa, that one is terrible. The service here is good, the employees are friendly and helpful. The wash actually gets my car clean, which doesn't happen enough at the other location. This one is located by The Living Room, easy to find location in the College Area. I don't actually know what they charge for a wash, I use the monthly pass and go to different locations since the one by my house is terrible, but the pass is a good option if you have white car which needs to be washed so very often..

Donna is the friendliest associate I’ve met at Soapy Joes. She patiently got my attention over the noise of the vacuums to ask nicely of I’d like to do this survey. I’ve been a Soapy Joe member for 4 years now, I have been to many of their locations across Southern Cali. All locations are always clean, equipment works great, and friendly staff. This morning I was approached by Donna at the El Cajon Blvd. & Amherst St. location. Her positive energy and great customer service stood out! Which prompted me to leave a review about this business. Prices has gone up while the quality of the wash dropped drastically. 3/3 times visiting, there was not a single clean towel. Vacuums are stuffed with trash I had to pull out myself. Plenty of garbage around the parking spaces.Simply Rebranding the car wash to a smily logo won't bring smiles to the clients.There's Pony Express Car Wash 1.4 miles from them, 4055 54th Street. Twice as cheap, better customer service, the only thing they close at 6pm instead of 9pm.Spend time and money wisely.Peace!

Clean car wash with multiple people on staff. They provide complimentary towels to clean your car. When it first opened up, the vacuums use to work well and now have minimal suction. I hope they are replaced soon.

What can I say. I am a customer for two years. Never had a problem until now. They had an issue renewing my membership this month, so when I went for a car wash the guy asked me to update the payment method, which I did. So he charged me and I went on. Next time I show up it says I didn't pay the membership. So I talked to the manager and he said there is nothing he could do because I only paid for one car wash. But I have been a member for years now, how could that be? So now they are asking me to renew again and I can't wash my car until then. It just feels like this people don't really care about their customers or their time.

I'm not a fan of this location. It's way too small. Cars can approach the entry from 2 different directions, causing a backup of cars. The light to exit never turned green, an employee had to tell me when to exit. If it's busy, good luck getting a vacuum. I had to drive back to the entrance to find the only open space and there were several cars behind me. Staff is available at the payment kiosk for any help you might need. They are always pleasant.
