They charge me for the keys of the car delivered, when I give them to a person in the CBX Avis parking lot, and with a uniform and many keys in his hand to other vehicles. Dishonest, or disorganized? The rates are not what they say they have on the internet, since they come out immediately with the extra for picking up and delivering not at the San Diego airport, but at CBX. Bad experience.

It is always a problem that they never have the car you reserve, there you have to wait for them to bring it, more or less clean, the only advantage is that they are there when you leave and the person who attends has a regular attitude.

Very bad experience at Avis San Diego CBX. Rent a vehicle for 3 days and according to them, do not deliver it in a timely manner. Charging for two extra days because why did I deliver it until the 5th day. And even after sending evidence, they made me double charge the vehicle. Be careful, take a photo of the vehicle. Ask for proof of who receives it and take a photo of some official identification. They charged me 7,305 pesos more.

I'm very disappointed with Avis CBX service. I had reservation 9:30 pm cbx to Covina. I show up to counter and the rep says I can't use my bank card. I asked to please help me all I wanted is to get home. And it's not the first time I use my debit card. I had no luck. So now I'm stuck 3 hrs away from home . Thanks Daniel you could've tried a bit to help me out

Everything was fine, except that even when I showed them that I had all the insurance paid, they required me to take out additional insurance with you. That seems unfair to me.

Water, they charge you more and then tell you that they are not responsible and do not respect what they sell online, such as the gas tank.

Aun que tengan un reservacion pagada es posible que llegues a AVIS en CBX y que simplemente te digan que no hay ningun vehiculo disponible. Servicio al cliente frio, mal educado, y sin la menor intencion de apoyarte. Vayan mejor al aeropuerto de San Diego en autobus o taxi y eviten esta sucursal.Poor customer service, this is a franchise location. Avoid it if possible or simply be prepared to be disappointed. You can take a bus or an Uber to the San Diego Airport and be treated much more respectfully. When I arrived to CBX with a prepaid reservation after a long flight the agent who was having a conversation with another agent seemed annoyed that I was interrupting her chat. She then dismissively told me they had no cars and I should check with Hertz or call customer service and ask for a refund. I ended up paying 55 USD to take an Uber to the airport and was able to get a car. This delayed me leaving to my destination which was hundreds of miles away by 90 minutes. Way to ruin my coming home trip AVIS CBX.

everything was fine, until they DIDN'T REFUND MY DEPOSIT, first they invented a payment for a chair that had already been settled, when they didn't proceed they invented that the gas tank had not been filled... they ask you for a photo that you obviously filled it as it was a Serious company, one would not think that these things happen, be careful, save gas tickets and take photos of the full tank, or consider your money lost.

Horrible service they messed up the pick up/drop off location on my prepaid reservation and charged me an extra $430 on return when They said my total would be $430 not that it would be an extra $430

It’s not just that they are terribly unprepared to receive people, even after having you make reservations. The staff just seems like they just don’t care about anything, especially customers. I strongly recommend that you take a ride to somewhere else and rent there. It just doesn’t work here.

Made a reservation same day. Went to the location counter to get a rude lady tell me can’t make same day reservations. This should be on the website. Now I’m from out of town wasted money on Uber to and from to not get a car. Never used this company and will definitely recommend to everyone not to waste your time.

Terrible experience especially with their representative Angelica. Angelica was Super unhelpful and was rude. They didn’t have the vehicle we had reserved and they had confirmed. Never using budget or Avis ever again this trip they did the exact same thing to us twice ( didn’t know Budget was the same service) don’t waste your time and patience. Super disappointing.
