Stopped in on a day they weren't buying. This was inconvenient. Best to call first before you stop in just in case. The employee was kind in letting me know but as a busy mom it would be most convenient if they purchased every day during store hours because who has time to keep track of exceptions? I looked around and the items inside were in pretty good condition! The racks weren't overly packed so that sorting through them was easy enough. The selection was pretty plentiful. There was a sales rack and prices are clear. Although I know places like these like to buy only on-season clothing due to space constraints, I appreciate being able to buy "off-season" clothing since in SD we have to dress in layers even in the summer.

I love shopping & selling at BGR Resale. Babies and kids are always outgrowing clothes and toys so it's a great idea to bring in and use credit towards new stuff!

Selection is not bad. I'd like to see more 5T clothing. The owners are super friendly.

Absolutely favorite children's resale store in San Diego to buy and sell from. All the employees there genuinely look happy and are all super friendly. There a nice family feel, that really makes me feel like I'm supporting families instead of a business when I shop here. They have a great selection with decent prices. Also, it's nice they have a frequent buyer account that keeps track of how much you send, and I think every $100 spend, there's a little discount. I'm always losing stamp cards, and I love this way of rewarding customers.

Low balled on high quality items. Brought in a $200 barely used swing and received $20 store credit. Store seems to be not the best quality or resale value

Didn’t like the overpriced items, and I couldn’t believe that they were selling some clothes in such poor condition, most of the baby and toddler clothes were very worn and maternity pants were even worse! If your looking for maternity pants here be sure to check the inner thigh area!! I found multiple pairs with small holes.

I've been coming here for about three years. They have great prices, and I never leave without something.

Great prices, good selection of toys, baby clothes, maternity clothes and baby accessories. I plan on returning soon. I just wish they would stay open a little bit later as I always end up there 15 minutes before closing.

Went for the first time and immediately loved this store! Lots of variety of items for a STEAL. Was able to find tons of different selections in the boy section. Clean, super organized and friendly staff!

Awesome spot! With how fast babies grow out of clothes and toys, I really wanted to check out a secondhand consignment store in San Diego. It's been on my list for awhile and got a chance to check it out on my last trip. They have lots of clothes and toys, all separated by age. It was really easy to browse my baby's size and found a couple items. I bought her a pair of Hello Kitty high top shoes, that were brand new. I also found a little Minnie mouse dress that she loved. I spent about $11, which was such a great deal.

I have visited this location twice and I was pleased with the products available and the price points. Not a lot of customer service available, it's more of a find your own thing shop. Thankfully this shop is very organized, and I found too many good things to purchase. They also offer a program whereby after you spend $100 you get a percent off discount on your purchases. I look forward to shopping here in the months to come for all my grand baby's needs.2023(9)

I have been working with this store for about a year now. When I say working with them I mean buying and selling clothes and stuff with them. I have to say reading through a lot of these reviews I was shocked that people were so annoyed that the BGR company did not want to buy their used clothes or stuff at a higher price. In my opinion it is completely up to BGR what they would like to offer you for your items and if you don't like that you don't take it it's not so complicated. It's clearly a family owned company and I'm sure the owners have little mouths to feed just like everyone else. I was a little surprised that they decided to do the first week is donations only but that's up to them. If they want to do that that's their good right. Overall I've had very positive experiences with them. Their staff is always very nice and their stuff is always super clean. I highly recommend them to all of my girlfriends that have kids because I think it's a good way to save money by buying the used stuff. I also think it's a good way to save money time by selling or donating stuff and clothes to them. I tried to sell a bunch of stuff online at a fairly low price but did not have a ton of luck. I was relieved to get any money for them from BGR especially since I didn't have to sell the items myself. I really think that if BGR needs to sell the items they can charge whatever they want for them because they know what it's like to have to sell them as well as the actual amount that they could potentially get for them. Most people who think that they can sell kids stuff don't realize it's not as easy as you think and you're probably not gonna get it as much money as you think you should. If you don't want to sell them your stuff don't, it's that simple. I noticed one of the reviews said that they bought the item and then wouldn't return it to the people. To that guy say maybe you should've done a little research before you made the sale.

I love this place! The prices are amazing, the staff are so sweet, and they have such a wide selection! In general, there are more girl clothes than boy, but its like that everywhere. Thats not on them. I have always found a bunch of stuff for my nephew. They also have a bunch of toys, which I love because the kids get bored of them pretty quickly. The baby out grows clothes so quickly, so its hard to justify spending full price on them. I wish they were open just a little bit later, because it can be hard to run over to them before they close. But I love them! Theyre amazing. Highly recommend

150% love this place, I'm a regular. I have bought so many of my girls' clothes there over the YEARS, I probably go every 1-2 months. Prices are excellent, can get unique finds that my 4 and 6 year olds so far have been happy with, even shoes. I like that they post items on their Facebook page and you can call in and buy it on the spot, then they will hold it for a week to pickup. Shoes are hit or miss, but when you score on the shoes you're spending well under $10 on them, and well worth the wait! They also have toys, I have been able to buy Legos there on one occasion. I have not tried to sell to them, as I don't have the time, so cannot comment on that. They provide regular 15% off discounts, and they have sales occasionally, check their FB page for these.
