Hi Roni, This is Marioara. It was a pleasure meeting you today. Thank you for the delicious Meat Lover Pizza, Jalapeños peppers, and bread sticks. It was very good; the sauce was also very delicious, definitely different than other sauces I had in the past. I give this guy a 5-star rating for the great Pizza, and customer service.

I ordered 4 pizzas for delivery ($84.99 ) at 1:25 PM on their website. Although my home is only 15 minutes away from their store, the delivery estimate was between 2:24 PM and 2:39 PM. At 2:40 PM when the pizza had not arrived, I called the store and was lied to. The first customer service person told me that the delivery driver was about to walk out the door with my pizza. The second person told me that my pizzas were still in the oven (so they'll be fresh) the third person I spoke to told me that my pizza was already on its way. My husband decided at that point we should not trust at the pizza we will be delivered untampered with and we should just get a full refund. I told them that I wanted a refund and I was told that even though I ordered it off their website I had to contact Slice for a refund, I called Slice and got fourth story of where my pizza was. Even after I repeatedly told them I wanted a full refund they kept giving me the runaround and lying to me. After I had to speak with two slice representatives someone from the pizza shop showed up at our door around 3 PM and basically strong armed us into taking this pizza so we would not get a refund. They gave us a free 2 L of Pepsi like that's going to make up for the horrible customer service and the lying. Do not trust this place! I just realized I would like to a 5th time. They repeatedly told me that it was up to Slice to give me a refund. Slice says It's the other way around.

I was so happy to find out there was a Bambino's so close to my place. I called them up, ordered my medium pepperoni.... Update: I didn't finish writing that review last year, so I don't know where my train of thought was going. I now live out of state and I wish one of the Family members would open a Bambino's in Atlanta. Bambino's is one of those pizza spots that gives you authentic taste and great quality ingredients. The pizza is one of the best I had in San Diego and the prices are affordable. Additionally, Bambino's is a mainstay in the Emerald Hills and Skyline community's. I love it when small businesses embrace the community they do business in and gain the respect of the other small businesses and neighbors within the area. Bambino's has definitely done that. One of the owners lost their son last year to a sudden accident. I believe he was on 17 years young. I felt for their loss and could tell they were in deep mourning for some time after. I send healing prayers for them always. Please go out and support the Bambino's shop. Especially the one on Federal. They respect the community, the food is awesome and with all their success they stay in our "hood!" They could use our support to show them our appreciation.
