This is a review for a teller named May at the Bank of America branch on Midway. I have received inconsistent service at this branch in the past. Today, May assisted me minutes before closing. She wasn't super fast, but she was very thorough and caught two errors that I had made! She saved me a world of trouble. Great job, May! Thank you!! From now on, I will wait specifically to have your service!

Bad service on January 17, I arrived with an appointment and they do not respect how they arrive, they are rude and they do not have enough staff......I will never return... I gave them one star because they did not give me the option of giving them a zero bye.

Poor customer service. Teller window undermanned during peak lunch hour. Two tellers confused by another customer's international funds transfer, no manager in sight. After waiting 15 minutes, they suggested using ATM but it would not accept check deposit.Multiple bad experiences at this particular branch.

I'm not a customer of theirs yet they are sending me texts saying that "May" is my new rep and to reach out if i have questions. Not sure if May is real or not, but I think they should make sure the folks to whom they are texting are actual customers. I reported the text as a phishing attempt, nonetheless. I don't care if it is Bank of America or Bank of The King of Nigeria, it is phishing.

Is it a liquidity issue or solvency. Had an opportunity to speak with The financial manager Brian E Dimas. I presented him with a check that was from Bank of America and was from the Superior Court of California and was told that the number on it was too large. I hate to say it but if 33 people went and took out $1000 from that bank they wouldn't be able to stay open is basically what Brian told me. I understand that banks are in the business of making money. However, to say that I needed a relationship with a bank to cash a $33,000 check is preposterous to say the least. She wouldn't verify liquidity after I was told by another branch you had a similar problem with liquidity and availability of funds that I had to be referred to another bank. I spent a decent amount of time trying to let him know that the information that he needed for me was in his hand which included two forms of identification additionally, he did not and could not explain his position on why those funds wouldn't be available to me. One might think it is preposterous to bank with them if their position doesn't allow you to withdraw funds in excess of $4000 without a hassle. I want to say that it wasn't the color of my skin however, I feel as if I was a non-minority I wouldn't of had a problem getting that check cashed. unfortunately, my bank Discover bank; only allows mobile deposits of $25,000. The good thing about Discover for those who don't know are their policies as a relates to treating their clients well. Have yet to have to pay any fees additionally on their checking account I get over 3% cashback on every purchase that I make. unfortunately they don't have any financial centers, or I definitely would've went straight to that bank. I highly suggest no one go and establish a relationship with this bank. There are really no benefits other than locations available. Reading other reviews like to experience the same thing in reference to there being a multitude of individuals just idly sitting around while there's a long line. I must say that I didn't go quietly into the night, and was very inquisitive about their liquidity issues as the Fed continuously raises interest rates and these smaller banks are going belly up left and right. I hope it's not a matter of time before they're needing a bail out as well. I digress for now. The sun will rise tomorrow and the Earth will continuously spin around around . This individual however will never open an account with Bank of America due to what I experience today. I hope they read the reviews and seriously look at how customers are seeing their business.

Worse BofA branch ever. Took my payroll check in to deposit and refused to cash it saying "a discrepancy on the signature" prevented them from cashing it. Took same said check to another branch and had no issues. Not to mention the teller was extremely rude and condescending. Never will return to such a terrible branch. Then they wonder why I don't have an account with them.

Horrible branch. If I have any banking to do, it is usually a waste of time to go to this branch. They have zero idea of what customer service is. I wish I could give them negative stars.

TERRIBLE service! I am not a member, and after my experience here - I'm so glad I don't bank with BofA. I was issued settlement funds to a Bank of America debit card and went to this bank to withdraw funds. I requested two withdrawals, one for 5K and the other for 4K. The female teller who was assisting me (the morning of 11/14) did not put my funds in the envelope or offer to even help, so here I am awkwardly trying to stuff stacks of large bills into this small envelope while she sits there and watches me... she goes so far to offer me a tip of how to better put the bills In the envelope after hearing me say, "I feel so awkward handling so many large bills in the open.."I had to do this twice, and it was incredibly uncomfortable - especially being in a public setting with a line of people behind me. AWFUL service. I would not recommend Bank of America to anyone. In fact, I bank at Chase, which they have a location right across the street, and the difference in service was substantial. Not only was I greeted upon entry and had the door held open for me by their security, but everyone in the bank was smiling and friendly. If you're going to bank anywhere, don't go here and switch to Chase if you want top tier service.

Took so long that after waiting in line, (next in line)… I had to leave or I would be late for my next appointment.Every Bank of America I have been to is like this. Never enough tellers. My other bank there is never a wait.
