Been a long time customer and have never had a problem until purchasing a grill and flat top from them recently. Went with their recommended installer to do a small, built in unit. All went well until it was time for the final payment. The installer tried to overcharge for the tile work, and when it was pointed out became less than cordial. After trying the flat top and discovering it not working properly, called BBQ Galore and after 3 follow up calls without a call back, finally was put in touch with the manufacturer. Manufacturer figured out that the installer used a connection hose on both units that was incorrect because it was too small. I called him and he wants to charge for the correct size hose plus $75 for the trip even though he installed it incorrectly. I have now called Bbq Galore 4 times and of course, no call back. Their recommended installer is unethical, and the lack of follow up from BBQ Galore is most likely going to be what you get, if you purchase from them and have a problem.He never called or sent a text and I wouldn't have him come back anyway. And, by the way, he was recommended by your store and that was why we hired him. I would also be happy to share my call logs on my cell phone that show how many calls and texts I have received. Your statement about follow up calls is far from accurate.

I had an amazing experience with BBQ Galore. After speaking with many other barbecue companies that tries to upsell me on grills with far-off delivery dates, I walked into BBQ Galore to find the exact grill I needed; in-stock and on sale. They delivered it for free and then worked with me when I realized that I needed a different grill for a different gas hook-up. Their customer service was excellent and they went above and beyond.

Ordered a very upscale Hestan grill, power burner, outdoor refrigerator and access doors 17 WEEKS AGO! 15,000 dollars worth. Paid in full. Nothing delivered. No correspondence from the store. No calls. No hey we’re sorry. What can we do to make it right. I’ve called them twice over the past 4 months and no answers. Bad customer service in my opinion.

I was in the market for a new outdoor kitchen and walked into this store. I was met by Paxton, who provided EXCELLENT service. He was extremely knowledgeable with all the products. He was very friendly, outgoing, and informed of all discounts available to me. The selection of different pieces was great and this is a total one stop shop for your outdoor kitchen needs.

Any questions on bbqing and smoking please come to see Preston and the team at Barbecues galore. The pro tips you get won't make you feel embarrassed but make you feel satisfied when you're done cooking. There are no stupids questions here just helpful tips. These guys are great.

I am very disappointed with the employees of this store.October 2020 we ordered a grill, nobody kept me informed during the 3 months wait time on how the delivery was going.After 3 months we finally pick it up.Just recently in September 2021 the igniter does not work, I called spoke with Preston he took al my information, and said fire magic would be contacting.Two weeks went by nobody contacted me, I call the store again and another employee tells me that I have to contact fire magic directly.I was very upset. It has not been a year, what kind of warranty do these people offer. Ridiculous. It was not a cheap grill.

We recently purchased a barbecue from BBQ Galore, and the model was on backorder. We were told they would call with an update on delivery. After never hearing from them, we called and were told it was in and we could schedule a delivery. (no phone call from them). We were told the installation and delivery was $165. including a cover for the unit. Seeing as we already had a cover and didn't need theirs, they took $50. off the installation charge, bringing it to around $115.00. Delivery was scheduled between 12:00-4:00. At 11:00 that day they called to say they were here, and where were we? Upon delivery, they realized they could not install the unit and theyoo said we needed to call a plumber in to do it. We did that, and paid the plumber $100. for the installation. We called the store to ask for price adjustment on the installation, and were told theyd check and get back to us. We didn't hear anything so we called again, and were told they'd check and get back to us. 4 calls to them later, we were told it wasn't their fault it couldn't be installed so they wouldn't give a credit adjustment. They said we already received a $50.00 discount on it. We reminded them it was for the cover we weren't getting but they wouldn't refund anything.Customer service at the Clairemont Mesa BBQ Galore is awful. They don't return a phone call. They don't follow through with what they say they are going to do and they simply do not care. They could have said, we're sorry, we can't refund the money, but we'll make it up to you by giving you some bbq tools, or a grill basket, or some seasonings, or SOMETHING, instead of just saying.... nope, it wasn't our fault. There are many places you can buy a Weber BBQ. My suggestion would be to go anyplace else, probably pay less money and have better customer service than we received from BBQ Galore on Clairemont Mesa Bl. in San Diego.
