At first glance, this place looked a bit questionable, but the owner is so personable and reminded me of how it feels to talk to my older relatives. I got the Pandan Coconut Coffee, and he asked me how sweet I wanted it and offered to adjust it to my liking. He also recommended other popular items in the shop, but I wasn't hungry at the time and didn't end up ordering anything else. Would definitely try their waffle next time though.

So difficult to find but glad I finally found it. Located on the 3rd outdoor terrace, there are two ways to get in. Take the elevator to the third floor after entering the building or using the outdoor stairway and hope that the glass door is unlocked. Mainly a little cafe for those in the building with coffee, pastries, smoothies, and acai bowls. I chose the acai bowl (large) for ~$10 with large scoops of acai, granola, bananas, strawberries, honey, and a few cashews. The acai felt a bit icy but I was OK with it. The bowl was stacked and such a deal! Great service, super friendly, and very quick! I'd much rather come here than other B&M places around the area. if you can find it, def worth the visit.

Came in today and ordered a Sunshine smoothie with a toasted bagel. I come here all the time and every person that works this place is always nice and very helpful. I've also tasted their Iced Coffee and their Cold Brew and I really enjoy the taste and the quality. This place can be found on the 3rd floor terrace of the Columbia One building on Columbia and B Street. There's also a very nice patio where you can sit back and relax while you enjoy your coffee.

Visiting San Diego for work and wanted to get a healthy breakfast. Found this place in Yelp. Not the easiest place to find! It is in a business building, on the third floor and even after you learn it's on the third floor, it's still hard to find! But luckily after asking a couple people, I found it. It's on a beautiful patio with tables and patio couches. I was coming down with a cold, so wanted to power up. I ordered the Reboot Smoothie and thanks to a Yelp promotion got a large for the price of the smaller one. Thanks Yelp! I also ordered the Brazilian Aa Bowl, oh goodness, it was perfect! Beautifully presented and so yummy. Perfect mix of fruit, crunch, and smoothie bottom. A hidden gem. The server was very nice too. Great comfortable place to enjoy a relaxed breakfast before I start my day.

The coffee is better than Starbucks! Yep I said it lol. The girls are so sweet, especially Jennie (I think that's her name). She always makes my drink perfectly. The only complaint I have is, there's never enough zuchinni loafs. They are so great!! However, it makes my day a little better when I'm able to snag one. Thanks to the entire team for all that you do.

Amazing coffee! It can be a little tricky to find- you need to go up a staircase next to the street then go through a glass door and up another set of stairs, but well worth the trek. Cappuccino is awesome, as is the acai bar.

The coffee was amazing and so was the blueberry scone. Beautiful view, and on Wednesday they close a street nearby for the food trucks.

What a hidden gem in the heart of Downtown San Diego. I'm in the area walking around. I see a sign outside of a building offering Acai bowls and smoothies. So I followed the sign up some stairs to The Bean Box. A little stand in a court yard of an office building. The minute you arrive you are greeted with a nice welcome. So I looked at the menu and ordered several items. I started with Acai bowl. Then I ordered a smoothie. I have to say one of the best Acai bowls I ever had. The smoothie was fresh no artificial juices. You also have great breakfast dishes. Great assorted coffees and teas. If you are a person who visiting San Diego or works in downtown San Diego I highly recommend trying The Bean Box. The only negative is that The Bean Box is only opened Monday to Friday.
