Almost a complete disaster. Bought a >$7K + new Epic and after a fitting, cutting handlebars and numerous trips back and forth to the shop, the bike is still painful to ride. Not sure what is wrong but after the fitter said the shop would be in touch with me, was ghosted. This is a high volume shop that sells a lot of bikes. My experience with service and follow up, not good and I am left with a bike that does not work. :(

Just called in to see if they do patch work. when told that they do not do patch work I asked if they may have the inner tube I need so I can have them replace it. I wasn’t sure what size so I was placed on hold while I took a look at my tire. I was on hold for 20-25 min before I hung up and tried to call again thinking they might be busy and forgot I was on the line. Immediately when I called back I was placed on hold again for 25-30 before they just hung up on me.
So I would not recommend this shop to anyone out there these people conduct poor business and don’t seem to care about their potential customers. A simple call back would have been nice but that would be asking too much from such low class people running a mediocre business. Despicable.

Very good service, quick and timely approximate repair in relation to the estimate. Friendly sales staff, and the servicemen Robert and Chris were kind to assist my needs before and after full repair of the bike. One week estimate on the hub repair and was ready in six days.

Great experience getting my full suspension mountain bike repaired at Black Mountain Bicycles. I needed my dropper post cable and a gear shifter tab replaced. The team is super nice, knowledgeable, and honest. I really appreciated the time they took to explain the service, especially to a bike care newbie like myself! Will absolutely be coming back here for service and supplies.

I'm writing in regards to my excellent Bike Fitting experience with Mr. Aaron Hauck.
For my 68th birthday I decided to finally get a professional bike fitting on my Cube C:68 Aero bike.
The fitting was far more detailed and precise than I anticipated.
In fact, it was also very educational.
Every detail of fit and biomechanical function was addressed and explained to me.
We started with gathering all the data and specifics about me, my riding and my bike.
My feet were measured and my shoes and insoles were inspected.
My inseam and torso length were measured.
My posture, flexibility and injury history were evaluated.
Next my bike was measured and the existing setup recorded.
Everything was inputted in to the Rutul system.
The bike was then secured into a trainer and I climbed aboard and clipped in.
Sensors were attached at my wrists, elbows, shoulders, hips, knees, ankles and feet.
I pedaled until I was warmed up.
Aaron proceeded to examine and record all the elements of my positioning, posture and pedaling motion viewed from the right, left, front and rear. Using his experienced eye, lasers and the Rutul computer to completely analyze my position and movements on the bike.
After I hopped of the bike Aaron went to work on the bicycle.
He carefully adjusted the saddle height, the seat fore aft position and the inclination of the saddle.
Next Aaron precisely repositioned the cleats on my shoes.
He even went so far as to space the left pedal out 1mm from the crank arm to perfectly adjust my pedaling motion.
Finally he adjusted the position of the handlebars and precisely repositioned the levers.
Again all the changes were recorded.
Back on the bike my revised position and pedaling motion was fully analyzed and recorded.
I could immediately feel the improvement and increased comfort on my bike. My pedaling has never been this smooth before.
Viewing the results on the Rutul computer, I could clearly see the improvement in my posture and pedaling motion.
After having the opportunity to take my bike on a long ride, I can honestly state that I have never been more comfortable on my bike. What was more surprising was the increase in speed, pedaling power and pedaling efficiency.
Aaron's expertise, knowledge and attention to detail are impressive. I can whole heartedly and in good faith recommend his services.

Best bike fitting experience!! Aaron is super knowledgeable and made the bike fitting experience smooth and fun. The difference in riding is night and day. No more knee pain for me. Can't recommend Black Mountain Bicycles enough!

I purchased a Scott road bike just yesterday. Staff was very accommodating. Measuring process was well worth the time; and I feel is a must. Several tips worth remembering. Awesome service, staff and test rode the bike this a.m. with mounting/dismounting sweet. Uphill was impressive. Ty ty ty.

Great place for bike repair! Went there with a flat tire. Got fixed really quick and for very reasonable price! The staff was very friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend!

Awesome bike shop!!! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Upon entry you're immediately greeted. I walked around the shop and no less than 3 employees asked if I needed help. My favorite bike shop by far!!!

I love shopping here. They have a great inventory. Their customer service is top notch. Brian has suggested bikes and products that I hadn't even considered, based on my physique and type of riding I typically do. So far, he's been spot on. They aren't pushy and give you space to browse around but are also there when you have any questions. Thanks guys for always being so great! Lisa K

I've been shopping at BMB since at least two locations ago. Thought I left a review, but I guess it doesn't apply to the new location? Anyhow, today I was climbing a hill, pumping hard, and SNAP clank clank clank my chain snapped catastrophically with bent links - there's no repairing this. I figured this would put me down for days, but I made it to BMB and they actually had me out the door and running great again in just 20 minutes for $50 (including the new chain, and all the labor). I headed over to Lake Miramar to test it and did another 13 miles (including the dirt trail), and it's like it never happened! I'll keep going here for my bike needs.
