Hours on google and on the store front say open until 7PM. Got there at 6:30PM & they’re closed. Just change your hours online and on your store.

My husband and I visited the Balboa Boost Mobile Store yesterday and encountered a gem of customer service. Janet helped my husband with his phone device problem and switched him over to Boost. Janet's unwavering patience listening to the phone device problem we were having was remarkable and honestly, rare these days. She is steady, professional, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. All the stress we had been going through before entering the Boost Mobile store melted away and we could not be happier.

Update(Feb.2018) Recently returned and a new employee is working here. He kept trying to up sale me on products and kept saying that switching to a new phone I would need a new activation and sim card for an extra $100. Checked online (boostmobile website) as the prices in store are marked up and they don’t price match the boost mobile website. Ended up buying a phone online for $150 cheaper than in store and free activation and SIM card. You can activate it yourself for FREE, take about 5 minutes. Cellular service is a 3/5. Some phone calls choppy. In some locations data is a bit slower. In San Diego you usually get pretty good coverage for the area and price.

the sales rep was absolutely wonderful she kept her composure and professionalism shewas able to pinpoint some of the problem and said it may or may not work I did not like the fact that I had to pay my last $11 to get the chip I think it could have been waived since I've been a loyal customer well first of the Virgin but you bought them out so technically I'm still at the same company but all in all I got my phone after 4 days working and I'm

Wow! Unreal. This was the most shady phone store I’ve ever been to! The girl was nice (hence the 1 star) My sister wanted to an upgrade On her iPhone but we ended up leaving to get a second opinion on the cost. Boost’s price seemed WAY over inflated. Their iPhone 11 was nearly $1,000 (after taxes) FOR AN UPGRADE. We ended up switching over to AT&T because the service was WAY better and the iPhone 11 was actually $700 (without promotions). I NEVER knew how hard it was to get MY OWN account information from Boost. The AT&T rep patiently waited while we had to jump through 1 hour worth of hoops to get her account number.

ignorant, selfish counter people...the owner of the store no different...the counter person lost or permanently erased some critical notes/info/files, supposedly while simply rebooting my phone...they said I needed a new sim card, but didn't know if the sim card would actually make a difference...the girl behind the counter would not lower the foreign language hip hop music she was playing, altho' she did when the owner finally came out, but he just gave me the brush off as well...I also paid extra for international calls and text, but I never had any coverage when I needed it...I had to go outside of my own house, here in the middle of town, to make calls ...and I had to reboot my phone between every text or phone call...you're making a big mistake if you go in the Balboa Av. store. ... rude and ignorant, seems to mostly cater to the illegal alien crowd

I have had boost for years and have been in many stores. I have recieved varying levels of service but i must say Amairani was excellant, very proffesional and helpful both of my visits. That is what i expect and thats what i received..very happy.
