Terrible experience. Over 30 minutes of cue to get to the front of the line at the pick up desk (This line is shared with Avis and Budget) only to be told that there were no cars available in the worst of manners, she was so rude an unwilling to help. My reservation was prepaid, so there should have been a car waiting for me! Neverless I asked for my money back just to be told that it was prepaid and there was nothing she could do?! I just moved on to the next counter of Mexrentacar where there was no cue, a way nicer lady that gaved me a car in less than 5 minutes, she even helped me and sugested that I call the bank and dispute the Budget transaction. WORST SERVICE OF ALL!

I picked up the car at CBX in San Diego. The guy at the counter was very professional and polite. Car wasready to go just like promised. Very easy and quick

This has to be the worst budget I’ve ever been to. The employees are rude and the cars are filthy with less than a quarter tank of gas. Also beware they will charge you late fees when indeed you returned the car on time.

There’s always an issue when renting from this location. They try to scam you by either adding an extra day or late fees. Also my 8yr old daughter left her new mini iPad in the back seat pocket. They never called me to tell me they found it which they did because when I went to ask about it one of the employees told me they found it and had but it in the list and found box. Also when we searched the location on my iPhone it was at their car wash location which is where this employee told me lost and found was located. I made several visits in attempt to get my daughters iPad back from them and each time was a different excuse mainly that the only person that had access to the lost and found was a manager that was never there and suddenly was on vacation. Finally on my 4th visit to reclaim my iPad they admitted that one of their employees had stolen it. They said they would start an investigation and I would hear from the manager which I never did. This has been since July and still nothing. THEY ARE DISHONEST AND THIEVES. Shame on them for stealing an 8yr olds iPad! Not to mention their cars are always dirty barely have gas and smell.

I am a loyal budget car rental customer and have rented from many different budgets throughout the U.S. Also to be clear I've rented from this location a handful of times and there's always been an issue mostly with them over charging me either an extra day or a late fee which is always refunded after I call the main line. The employees at this location try to get away with theft literally. I left my daughters new mini iPad in the back seat pocket which they found. I came back two days later to retrieve it and they told me to come back the next day as the manager had the key to the list and found box which it was in. I came back the next day this time the manager was on vacation. I came back a third time and this time they said that one of the employees had stolen it from the lost and found box. They took all my info to give to the manager whom never contacted me but said he did. This all happened in July. I have still yet to get anything resolved. What a low life stealing my 8 year olds iPad. Then the employees covering up for that person. They should all be ashamed of themselves.

Don’t book at this location if you are booking through a 3rd party. I booked a last minute rental with Priceline for some reason chose this location instead of one closer to downtown San Diego. I took a lyft there to pick up the car. Once I got there, the person at the counter said he did not check any of the bookings for that day yet and that they had no cars available. It is their job to make sure that they alert and communicate to 3rd party companies if they have no availability because only they are the only ones that know how many cars they have available on the lot. While I spoke with them, I was still able to book through the 3rd party site for the same day. I’m not sure how many people had the same issue as I did that day. It’s so simple, to communicate with other companies when they have no availability and to close out those reservations once they know there are no cars. I wasted 2 hours of my time traveling and 100 dollars for my Lyft ride which they will not reimburse me for.

Rude employees. Car was less than a quarter full of gas. Had “ enough to get to a gas station” according to the female employee. Service engine light was on when I picked it up. Not what you want to deal with when you pick up a rental.

HORRIBLE, stay away.I prepaid for two cars seats, they said they don’t have them, so sorry so go to Walmart and buy some.I prepaid for fuel plan… they said that doesn’t appear on their computer, that I need to talk with customer service… because they are from AVIS and they don’t know anything about her sister company Budget.STAY AWAY and don’t rent from them

Awful service I made a reservation and when I got to the location they told me that they didn't have any vehicles. That I had to call customer service thatThere wasn't anything they could do. It's extremely frustrating

The car we received, was supposed to be a Toyota forerunner SUV but we received a smaller Kia sport that was an older model and quite worn and tired. It needed service as indicated upon ignition I was a vehicle, and the windshield wipers did not work properly, as well as the horn was not working either. The car also smelled of intense marijuana.

Rude customer service, had to purchase additional coverage if not I couldn’t leave with my rental in which I had already purchased protection coverage & gas was not full.

Great service! I arrived in the evening about 7pm. The employee greeted me and started processing my one way rental. Very efficient. He walked through the car and noted any damage to have smooth return process.At return in LAX, it was very efficient and accurate.

Customer service was terrible, they had "negative cars" which means they over booked their car rentals. Even though they show cars available online on their website as well as others, they do not. I wouldn't trust this business, especially if you are a long ways away from home like we were. Rent at your own discretion.

They will lie to you up and down about the availability of vehicles do not reserve cars with them because they will not honor the reservation if it doesn't suit them. Not to mention they have the worst sales representatives that are extremely rude (Dahlia) and probably losing them sales to their competitors that are right next to them.
