Holy crap is there a ton of stuff here. I'd say they aren't the best for taking stuff for resale. Places are hit or miss with this stuff. They give you more if you get credit there. I had tons of designer stuff , men's but they were not this season and they took a lot but didnt give much. If you have time, it's fun to browse but make sure you have time! Grab lunch nearby, make it a day. There is another resale shop across the street too. I got as much for one thing there as I did here.

I come here regularly and never expect them to buy most of what I bring but I'm really confused on their buying process. I had several pieces from good brands (Abercrombie, Allsaints, lululemon, Zanerobe) and they didn't want any of it. The clothes I was going to toss/donate that I had from HM, F 21 and even SHEIN were all bought for almost more than what I paid retail. The selection isn't great either. Mostly worn clothes from the above said stores being sold for the same price they were bought for. I rarely find anything good for men's clothes. Gave them an extra star because some of the associates are very welcoming.

Love this Buffalo! I go there almost every week and almost always leave with something. Have sold clothes there a couple times and they are very picky with what they take, but their selection is great

Super expensive & clothing is super outdated. Not brand name & the prices are ridiculous. The staff have super nasty attitude & they don't even greet you when walking in. Never again

Wasn't impressed. Parked in the parking lot behind the store. Had to carry two 50 lbs bags of clothing, purses, and shoes around to the front of the store. Asked for a cart, I leave my drivers license, nope, not going to happen. Their too dang picky... threw 75% in the trash. Lady's leather vest, wasn't in fashion. $43 estimated sales. I got 25% of that in cash. So $10 and some change. $2 parking every 30 minutes, so cost me $4. I made $6. Total waste of time. Last time I offer vintage 50's 60's & 70's clothing to some 24yo. I won't be back.

Are thrift stores even thrift stores anymore? $16 for a pair of brand new women's stockings and $42 for old, worn out sneakers with discolored, yellow bottoms. I don't get it. The selling program here is wild. Don't come here trying to sell your items on a Saturday. The line was nearly to the door, it took 30 mins to get to the front. Driving all the way to Hillcrest, parking, walking to the store, then waiting in line, just to have only 2 articles of clothing taken for $9 cash back. I saw a woman bring 3 oversized black garbage bags of items, most brand name, worth a lot of money, and with tags on. They took 2 of the 3 bags and she only walked away with about $50, from what I overheard. They pay you a few bucks per article of clothing and then jack up the price when they put it for sale to customers at maybe 10x what they paid you for it. It's a pretty insane system they have. They are very picky with what they take, so something I've learned is to only come with what you can carry with 2 hands. Because it's not worth it to bring in several bags and making multiple trips to/from your car. The layout of the store and staff are nice. This store is always bustling with customers shopping. Which is surprising because everything is so expensive! You're better off buying most of these items brand new for just a little more money.

Horrible experience I have never felt more violated in my life. Security guard with the tattoos completely made me feel uncomfortable and continuously made passive remarks about my body. Will not be returning due to this and am warning others of this experience. I hope he gets fired and reported.

To the person who we saw had an incident today about a watch. The security poorly handed it. First of all it is very illegal for any security guard to put hands on an individual. So to the man who had the incident I hope you read this you need to call the police and make a police report against Buffalo exchange and the security guard you have a lawsuit waiting for you to grab against them due to the fact the security put his hands on you. You need to get the police report incident number and call a lawyer ASAP. I wish this happened to me I can afford an attorney I would sue the pants off of them I hate this store I wish my wife hated it to but to my disappointment she doesn't.

I really want to love this place but I just can't. From a buyer standpoint it is not worth it. It smells like cigarette smoke every time you walk in. Sometimes that smell lingers on the clothes when you buy them. Secondly, for second hand they sell at high prices. You might save a few bucks of the original price but not much. As a seller, it's could be better as well. Many other stores like this offer a drop of system which is much better. Here you must wait with your clothes and watch them go through each one. During that time they also price and mark every item they keep. This takes a long time to do so the line is typically between 45 mins to an hour waiting to be seen even if there are only a few people in front of you. The buyers usually seem a bit annoyed and unfriendly. I understand they do this all day but it's always kind of an awkward interaction because most aren't nice. There are a few exceptions to this but as a whole the buying staff could be friendlier. Furthermore, the compensation isn't great. If you choose trade in to then it's not a bad deal but selling for cash you won't make much unless you have a lot of items (they usually take about 10 percent of what I bring in) or high value names brand items.

I'm never coming here again. Brought 2 boxes of clothes some brand new never worn and they said either out of season or not fashionable whatever that means. They tell you price, but really its for how much they will resale for, so if you get cash its way less. They want almost new condition, which, for a thrift store, makes no sense to me. Not to mention, all the used items in there are priced as much as they are in regular store.

They have the balls to charge you $2.50 for a bag?! Couldn't even provide a bag if you bought 6 items or so?!

This place is nothing like it used to be. All of the men’s clothes are the same sort of cheap trash that you’d find at Ross or any other thrift store. You used to be able to find unique and vintage clothes here that would be hard to find anywhere else. Now all I see are brands like Mossimo and CalvinKlein *barf*I’ve brought in high end expensive and vintage men’s as well as women’s clothes on several occasions and the buyers rarely take anything.

This review is SOLELY based on this one experience. As a whole, i shop at Buffalo exchange frequently however, aside from those other good experiences, this one left us very disappointed and felt robbed. They have a "holding" policy. Will hold any treasures you find until closing of next business day. I found a fabulous red dress floral jacket and a superb yellow flannel oversized shirt, they said they can hold until next business day. I gave my name and left. I came next business day and those garments were no where to be found. The lady TODAY was SUPER empathetic and prompted to go look the racks for me. I advised we already shipped and didn't see them. So, did someone else lie and claim them as their own home or did they just let to go back to the racks prematurely? Whatever it was, totally unfair and VERY disappointing.
