I was charged an overdraft fee when trying to link an external bank account to pay an overdraft fee. I am going to close all of my california coast accounts and take my money somewhere else. Do not bank here.

California coast is a credit union that truly cares about its members I think this is partially due to its wonderful ceo Todd Lane and countless others. I work at another credit union but continue to bank with cal coast due to its wonderful call center and branch staff. They really put the not for profit in there way of doing business . I only wish that they updated there mobile banking. Cal coast will always be my forever institution.

Please tell me that what I heard isn't true. You claim to believe in diversity but you do not allow the pride flag at your corporate location and branch locations during pride month. You are letting a few customers dictate your policy. Alliance and visibility are very important especially during these times. If this is true I'll never join this credit union or do business with you. I will make sure San Diego is aware of your policies.

This review is for an employee named "Alicia" who I believe works at the Cal Coast call center/office. I called in on 12/19 to file a dispute for a charge I was supposed to be refunded. I spoke with Alicia and she informed me that my card would be blocked once the dispute is filed, however she assured me that she would be sending me a new card which should arrive between 5-7 business days. Today is 12/31 and I still do not have my new debit card and do not have access to my money. I call in to see what's going on and I am told by a rep that the order for the new card was never placed. This is a not a mistake or minor error. This is being unprofessional, amateurish, and outright unskillful. By default, when a dispute is filed, the card is blocked and the customer is asked if they want to pick up their card from a local branch or have the new card shipped to them. Due to the closest branch to me being closed because of a fire, I requested it be shipped so I can do my holiday shopping. That didn't happen because Alicia dropped the ball and of course management doesn't care. This was the last straw. Taking my money elsewhere come January.

This is the worse place ever i would NOT recommend useing this credit union for ANY reason. Their customer service is horrible, they put our phone number in wrong and wont fix it..we have to write a letter requesting it be done..wth fix it. The web site isnt helpful either. They just dont seemto care .

Customer service has really went downhill since the pandemic. Problematic holds on deposit's. Holding cash deposits etc. Takes at least 10 to 15 minutes to get somebody on the phone... That's just a operator they have no access or can help you with your account. They will transfer you to customer service which is another 15 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous! Tired of Mickey Mouse systems and customer service. Definitely closing the account once everything clears. This guy is out! Treat somebody else like crap.

I wanted to give a shout-out to Martin in consuming lending! I had 2 applications Saturday 04/02/2022 and asked if he could give me a decision for both by the end of his shift because the dealer was waiting on me and he did! Martin called me before the end of his day I appreciate the exceptional customer service and sincerity! I know he was the only one working in this department that day too, so thank you ao much :) Also, the loan rates at CCCU are unbeatable! I have gone to others lenders and I got the best rate here. It's helpful, especially during inflation!

I was Scammed by a person who told me he was security with Amazon and had me follow steps to clear hackers from my phone and account, I reported it to the band in less than 24 hrs. but the Fraud dept. said they would not reimbuse the money taken from my Credit card and checking account. I had to close that account and open a new one. I reported to the Police and FBI. I will be changing banks as soon as I can be sure my direct deposits are working again. Funny they are Federally Insured but I guess we aren't, not under their rules.

3 stars!? Not even on an off day would I give my neighborhood Cal Coast Credit Union. As the benchmark of excellence in banking, the team there is 5 stars, all the time, every day. the screen is busted AF and the cash deposit ruins your bills and spits them back out. WORHTLESS
