The Coastal Credit Union on Park Boulevard has just appalling customer service. Despite going every month for 7.5 years, there is no institutional memory of a customer. Every time I go in there, I'm treated with suspicion as if I'm going to rob the bank. Just for the record, every month I deposit a rent check into the landlord's account...for 7.5 years. I'm not withdrawing; I'm trying to put money INTO an account....but the credit union obviously doesn't even want one to do that! It's is incomprehensible to me why anyone would have or would open an account there.

This credit union used to be great. Since the beginning of the pandemic, their quality of service has really went downhill. Customer service does not exist. Don’t try to call, you’ll be put on hold for at least 15 minutes every time. The first customer service rep has no access or able to do anything you couldn’t do online. If you really need customer service you need to hold an additional 10 more minutes to speak to somebody else.
They started placing holds on every deposit. I’m a member for over 12 years… Held my cash deposit as well lol. What kind of banking institution does that?
Definitely working with nonqualified and untrained customer service reps. No more for me!

I’m sure cal coast will run more customers off, before I finish the review…

THANK YOU REGINA(I think that’s her name)!!! I was trying to get ahold of my complete vehicle payment history, and she went out of her way to call on my behalf to see if there was a more efficient way to do it. Long story short there wasn’t, but again went out of her way to streamline the documents as much as she herself possibly could. ON TOP OF THAT, she labeled the end of each years statement with sticky notes, and paper clippped the documents together in a folder with my name written on it! I was greeted with a smile as soon as I walked in the door as she knew it was me! Truly amazing service, thank you so much again. She is an asset to your company :)

Arrive bank 10:05. Just stood in line for 15 minutes. Signs on front door say nothing about being closed for Columbus Day. 10:25 Employee skulks up and posts sign stating they are closed for Columbus Day. Turns and leaves, no eye contact, no sheepish grin. Wow. 20 year customer here. Don’t B of A me now. ?
