“You can't go wrong here! Great chocolates and candies and a free sample of the day every time you visit. I like to go to the counter and make a box up. Get the double caramel!”

“I'm so surprised, See's still has the same quality, even after all these years that I remember. I figured it would have gone downhill or not be as impressive as these more modern, fancy chocolatiers that have come around.... But no, it's still so good!!! We got a custom box of just their coconut chocolates, amazing! The service is great! So kind and open about how much things are with telling us how much we can get and when we're nearing the price we wanted when picking out peices (they weigh it as you go). I love that they still give you a free piece of chocolate when you come in. A great experience! Will recommend :) Also, they said all of their chocolates in the display are gluten free, and if I wanted something prepackaged they would check out for me.”

“So much cool stuff and such great prices, one of our favorite places to get groceries in San Diego!

Shoutout to Ian who did one of the best jobs of grocery bagging I have ever seen.”

“NIRVANA. HEAVEN ON EARTH. It's very modest inside but the selection is enormous. Your choice of milk or dark. My favorites are the milk covered pineapple truffles, the milk covered lime truffles, the California brittle, The Scotchmallow, The Bordeaux, and everything in between from their lollipops to their nut clusters It is worth the trip. For many many years I patronized their store in the galleria in Houston Texas. Then I got married and I was able to go one time and they closed the Houston location. Then we went to San Diego to see our son graduate from the Marine corps and one of the primary stops that I absolutely would not waver on was the trip to See's Candies. It is my Eden. It is my joy. Fill my coffers fill my basket fill my casket with nothing but sees pineapple truffles. Just seeing them on Instagram brings me a joy that I cannot express in words. The joy and fulfillment of the goodness and the purity of their truffles cannot be described with words. If anyone ever has anything bad to say about See's candies they will one have to answer to me and two they must be related to Ebenezer Scrooge. This place is honestly the best. The employees are always clean and kind. The store is always immaculate. And the candy is always perfect. Do not sleep on See's candies.”

“I had a phenomenal experience here thanks to Phyllis! She is a total superstar and an asset to See’s Candies.
I needed help picking out the best candy options for a group, and she went above and beyond to make sure I had the perfect selection. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the products, and her professional yet friendly attitude really impressed me.
Because of her great suggestions, I ended up finding even more treats to purchase than I originally planned! Phyllis provides extraordinary customer service, and I truly hope she gets the recognition she deserves. I’ll definitely be back!”

“You always get greeted with a smile and a welcome! They have a terrific selection of candy in every category. They even have home made, hand made fudge and brownies. They have special events throughout the month for everyone. They have events for children all the way to older adults. They are large contributors for the local community. Always have some sort of fundraiser going whether it's a blanket drop off for the homeless or bicycles for the Easter Egg Hunt. They have even recently installed a little creations shop in the back for local artists. Be sure to check out the store from front to back and side to side!!!”

“Found this sweet hidden gem while exploring the streets of San Diego in Seaport Village! Cute interior and exterior. They have such an array of sweets and chocolates like their wall of gummy bears of different flavors. This place locked a lot of memories from childhood sweets. I ended up getting a Twix ice cream bar since it's a warm day in San Diego and I was craving something extra sweet. It was a great purchase that hit the spot with speedy service. Definitely come by if you have a sweet tooth craving.”

“The popcorn is tasty and so are the little pinwheel like cookies. Service was quick and the staff was friendly. It's located in Liberty Station so it's a little hard to find but worth it.”

“Cute store in an otherwise commercial and questionable neighborhood. Service here is consistently sweet and helpful. And of course Sees is as good as many top shelf, would consider them first for any occasion.”

“A friend and I stopped by and noticed a few vegan options, which were labeled behind the counter. I opted for a dark chocolate-covered pretzel, and it was great. The person working was very friendly, and the place is close to the beach for a post-visit sweet treat.”

“Love supporting small businesses! Connected about a week before my sons birthday party and service was responsive and great! The cotton candy was a total hit at the birthday party.”

“I purchased a few packs of their Valentine's day packs that advertised "28 pops and cards. I opened them to find all the pops, but only 12 cards in each box. I reached out to their customer service and... They were amazing. They apologized and within a few days the replacement cards were in my mailbox. They hand pack the boxes and people make mistakes. What counts, is if they're willing to fix it. They were. Would definitely buy from them again.”

“Fun little candy shop experience in the middle of town, they had fair prices for candy I thought, we bought half a pound and it was four dollars only! They let us try some fudge too! (Not personally a huge fudge fan BUT it was good!) the service was polite and friendly.”

“Really great shop! The owner is kind and helpful, and the prices and items are amazing. The shop across the street is criminally expensive, in comparison. Come here instead!”

“Stopped in here yesterday just to check out Mexican candy and ended up leaving with a blanket and a huge framed Marilyn Monroe poster. The amount of candy was massive but I was impressed with the large selection of souvenirs and other items neatly displayed. Prices were cheaper than any other vendor in the area. Owner was very nice and held our items until we were done running around in Old Town for the day.”
