Top notch service with the best price in town. Other service stations charge a big premium for luxury cars but not Steve he charges the same low labor price regardless of car. Best service I've come across!

I'm so happy to have found this auto shop! My car was shaking and making strange noises, and I went to several shops that couldn't figure out the root of the issue. When I brought my car here, they quickly addressed my issue and promptly repaired it at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

I changed my starter here. 300 dollar. Seems honest. Also they give 1 year warrant if the issue happens again

Steve is the best. If you come here, you can expect truthfulness and honesty. He will not add on unnecessary things or rip you off - even if you are someone who doesn’t know anything about cars. Been coming here for years. 10/10 recommend

Twice, I've gone to Car Diego to avoid the extremely high prices quoted by the dealer. The dealer was trying to add on extra unnecessary services that cost a lot more, and recently they actually misdiagnosed an issue. I took my Mazda to Car Diego with the diagnosis from the dealer and they found a completely different electrical issue. They're very trustworthy, kind, and reasonably priced. I will never take my car to the dealer again!

These guys were fast, honest, and even gave me a bonus service! They didn’t hassle me with a bunch of unnecessary upsells, or additional services that I wasn’t asking for. They just correctly diagnosed my wheel bearing issue and had it fixed within 24hrs. They just did as asked (& a little extra for free). Can’t tell you how much I appreciate that from an auto mechanic. So hard to find an honest mechanic these days. They won a loyal customer today. I will always take my Vehicle here! Nice job Steve!

WATCH OUT, CAR DIEGO AUTO REPAIR IS DELETING REVIEWS!!!!I POSTED THE REVIEW BELOW ON YELP BUT THEY DELETED IT:IF I COULD WRITE O STARS, I WOULD!!I had came here as a reference from my friend. Told them that I needed a new timing belt. The mechanic I was talking to seemed friendly, but something about him struck me as disingenuous. Same with some of the other mechanics. They quoted me a decent price, average price for a timing belt, which is pricey, and I said ok. They said it would take a couple of days and I agreed. I come to drop off my car, pregnant at the time, and had to find my way back home which I knew already. Someone who was also there graciously offered me a ride back home. I come back taking the bus, and thank the gentlemen for the work on my car.The same morning, I drive to the grocery store, and my car stalls. My car is an automatic mind you and I have NEVER had this issue before, I was quite startled. I turn it back on again, and it does the same thing all the way to the grocery store and back about 2/3 more times. I then decide to contact Cardiego as I know forsure it was a result of their work because prior I have never had this issue. I take it back to them and they say usually it costs money to check out the issue(which I thought was ridiculous considering they had just done work to my car) but he would check it out for free. He then comes back to me and say it's a different issue and that it would cost me about $500 to fix. Mind you I just paid about $600/700 to fix my timing belt. I tell him I need some time to think about it and I go back home (because I knew something was off.) I look online and read that if the timing belt was just done, then it could be possible that the timing was off. I tell the guy who referenced me about the issue and he's pretty concerned too and he comes back with me and I tell the guy at cardiego that I read about it and that it could be the timing was off. He AUTOMATICALLY shrugs off the idea and says he'll take a another look at it. He comes back and says it's now a different issue and it would cost about $250 to fix. I tell him no thanks and I leave. At this point I'm positive that hes ripping me off and my mind is set on not coming back.A little later down the road, I go to another mechanic from a close family friend and he says he'll take a look. He had my car for about a day and when I pick it up he told me he had looked and it was the TIMING BELT. HE TOLD ME THE TIMING WAS OFF. He had fixed it and I paid for his service and parts(which was still less than at Cardiego) and what do you know? My car works perfect! NO MORE STALLING.In conclusion, DO NOT COME HERE, and if you do, COME HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK. These guys ripped off a woman they knew was pregnant, with no remorse. If I could go back in time I would demand a full refund or sue them honestly.
