Best authentic cappuccino in San Diego. The food is good and the staff are very friendly. Inside is great atmosphere but there is construction next door so outside can get noisy.Parking: There is only paid street parking, unless you're also using the downtown San Diego Library which is two blocks away. they validate for 2 hours so I usually get my library books, go grab a coffee and then go back to the library.Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible

The venue is great for coffee, we got The Three Kings and the Peruvian filter coffee, which were brewed well and was refreshing for a Monday breakfast. As far as breakfast goes, it was Self seat and order at the bar, which threw me off, as it felt a little hands off, considering the great breakfast they have.We got the vegan sausage breakfast burro burrito with avocado and the Chorizo egg Hash, with the Chorizo subbed for vegan sausage. It was a solid breakfast, and the portion size was good. I would recommend, go in and be bold to order!Vegetarian options: You could substitute the meat for vegan sausage, so not only is it vegetarian friendly, i it can be vegan friendly too.

Ahhh. Copa Vida. What's not to love about it?Maybe I'm biased because I get to live so close to one, but this coffeeshop is superb. There are plenty of varieties of coffee to choose from; from light roast to dark, and everything in between. I love the splendid selection of teas they carry as well. The natural lighting from outside scores points in my book, and although I wish there was a little more seating inside, any seat is worth waiting at for the food! The food! I did not expect it to be as good as it was. The smoked turkey melt and tomato soup are exquisite and exceptional; words I never thought I would use to describe a soup and sandwich. And while I look forward to trying other menu items, my favorite thing about Copa Vida are the $2 refills, a feature that implores me to read another chapter of my book while I'm there, and will keep me as a regular from now on.

I signed up for the Kindred membership and immediately had issues. Could not get a response from either side- Angle or Copa Vida due to the holidays (the main reason I signed up). They got it working, and all was fine for a few weeks. This week I paid for the 7 day drink membership on Sunday- got one drink on Monday... then got food poisoning on Tuesday, so I missed 2 days. My account was cancelled, and I'm being told to reactivate (pay another $20 to reactive) in which the link doesn't even work. The latte that I received was not worth $20. This business needs to test this feature far more than they've been willing to do, as I have had nothing but problems with it.There were no emails or other communication advising this happened- I found out on the walk to the ship while I tried to put in an order. I tried stopping by and asking for someone to contact me, after not receiving a reply by email from either Angle or Copa Vida. I left my name, email and phone number- but nobody bothered to contact me.I want so badly to find a coffee shop in SD, but this clearly isn't the place. As fancy as it looks, there are big issues under all that shine.Super duper disappointed. Was really looking forward to enjoying a hot tea that I'd already paid for.

So I’m going to give this one star because they charge 8.50$ per a latte. For that price you’d imagine it’s the best coffee you’ve had. But no my dear reader it’s not. This place is for business people or dumb tourists. If you want to grab coffee, please head to North

The service has gone downhill. Prime example of awful baristas with attitudes. They greet you like an inconvenience. So rude. Go to Blue Bottle on Broadway. Better coffee and much, much better service.

I have never had a good experience at Cope Vida. The staff is always rude and seems to enjoy making their customers feel dumb. I live across the street and have stopped in for coffee three times, and each time there have been specific instances of rudeness. The first time it was unclear where to order from, and the rude barista made sure to redirect me when I made an error in judgment where to stand. The second time I ordered a 16oz hot coffee and they scoffed at me noting that they don’t serve hot coffee that large, as if that was an asinine request. This time, the place very much seemed open, door was unlocked, signs were out, but they are apparently not open until 7am (it’s 6:45am on a Saturday). Why unlock the door without hours posted if you’re just going to turn customers away?Yes, I’m venting. This place has such great coffee and food, but their service absolutely sucks. Only go here if you want to deal with real coffee snobs. Emphasis on the snob.

I love Copa vida, but this video is only about today's order (11/21). I usually order vegan burrito, and it's delicious, but today it was so dull, badly made. They usually put an equal amount of tofu, crispy potatoes, and arugula. But today, I got less protein and so much green. Burrito just felt dull and lacking quality ingredients. Hope they maintain their burrito standard.

Located in SD’s downtown East Village, Copa Vida is a popular, modern cafe perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or tea with a light meal.Their breakfast menu features burritos, brekkie sandwiches, chilaquiles, croque madam, and a variety of toasts. While you for lunch, you’ll find sandwiches, soups, salads, and rice bowls. And of course, their pastries are insanely delicious! I recommend the Honey Madeleine, Olive Oil Cake, or any muffin! The atmosphere is always pleasant, it’s never too loud, and the staff is welcoming. With ample seating both inside and outdoors (high-tops and regular tables), it’s a great place to get some work done on your laptop, visit with friends, or chill with your significant other.Vegetarian options: Copa Vida has vegetarian pastries, sandwiches, a variety of toasts, a veggie burrito, grilled cheese, kale salad, soups, and vegan options.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp inside the main front door, a street level entrance, and plenty of room to move around chairs. No steps.

This cafe is cute and has amazing coffee! I ordered two vanilla lattes and a honey madeline. The drinks were prepared very quickly and I loved the decoration on the hot coffee. The coffee wasn't too sweet and the madeline tasted delicious! I'm looking forward to trying their other coffees and pastries.
