I normally love this location but had a bad experience today. My all access membership was cancelled and restarted because I had a student discount that didn’t go through. My membership hadn’t been reactivated (even though it was supposed to by today), and the teacher at the front desk notified me. I explained my situation, showed her the messages from Corepower about my account reactivation, and asked if there was anything else I could/should do. She said I was good to go, so I went to class then went home. After I got home I received a message that I was charged for a single session class ~$30. Had I known this was going to happen, I would’ve just skipped the class and waited for my account to reactivate. Poor communication skills on their part and makes me not want to go back to that location. It sucks too because I really like a lot of the sessions there.

I gave 2 stars only because of the studio manager (Sarah). The instructors are all nice, however the manager keeps harassing students. She did not let me have my personal belongings when I needed my phone next to me in case of my child needs me. The other student needed their purse in the studio as her had her inhaler there and the manager yelled at her to get her purse out. However there are some students came in later, looks like manager’s personal friends, they all had their personal belongings with them and she let them had their stuff in the studio. I won’t be back.

Here's why I won't use this facility. There is NO local telephone # and I want to speak to a live person. I just called some 833 # and they are closed. So WHY would I struggle with this? I have questions and MY policy is that any business that can not offer a 'live person' and especially with such a person service like Yoga, is not my kind of business. Too may others to chose from.

I was really unhappy[y going there for two reasons.(1) They keep the room cranked above 100deg and a humidity machine full. Sometimes it is not so bad, and other times by the 45min mark half the class is just collapsed on their mats looking at their watches waiting for the session to end. When you ask the instructors if the room has to be SO hot, they smile and shrug and say that is the policy.(2) I stopped going but waited until two days before it was time for the next monthly payment to cancel. They sent me a smug email saying "you should have read the small print in the contract - whenever you cancel, we will then charge your credit card for ANOTHER 30 days."

Im so sad right now . I usually LOVE core power and how hot these classes are . I just got back from a trip and I was exhausted but really needed a stretch . On my way over here there was a small accident that delayed me a little but I got here right on time , by the time i got my shower bag because I have to go right to work after it was 1 minute past class time . The door was locked alreddy, and instructor was inside and makes eye contact with me and I'm standing at the door and she just walks away and doesn't let me in!!! I understand the class start time but come on!!!! Accidents happen and I was ONE MINUTE , she freaking looked at me and she just walks into class and leaves me standing there in the rain . How rude! I would never do that to someone , so now I'm going to be charged and now I don't get the much needed yoga my body and mind needed before work and it's a very unfortunate start to my day as I sit here in the parking lot now having to wait for work to start and I was expecting to shower and everything . So messed up , I just would never do that . I will most definitely never be taking I think it's Natalies class again. I just can't believe she looked at me and just left me standing there . So I write this as I'm sitting in the parking lot just looking at core power really wishing I was in there . What a waste of credits and time, I'll take my business elsewhere

I attend the corepoweryoga studio in 4S commons. They have several really excellent instructors that I highly recommend. Kinjal P is the BEST for me! She really knows the yoga and her voice is calm and she knows the names of all the poses and her music is good too. I highly recommend taking any class that she teaches ANYWHERE. Shawn (I am not sure how his name is spelled). is really great as well. He is patient and his voice is also calm and he is encouraging too. Sandra M is a great instructor as well, and I hope to take more of her classes. I enjoy her teaching and her voice and music work well for me. However, today we had Joanne G as a substitute and although the class itself went well, at the end, when we were supposed to be lying down QUIETLY in 'corpse pose' she had bumpy music playing. I could only take this for a short time after which I picked up my mat and stuff and went out the classroom door. She kind of tried to block me but I said the music is to thumpy for this resting part. She said I should have left quietly and I said I DID but she then said that I should have left all of my stuff in the room. I said NO, if I cannot stand the loud thumping I cannot lie down and rest and I am leaving. She was rude to me, saying that no one else was complaining, but as a paying customer I don't agree with how she spoke to me or what she said. I found that THUMP ....THUMP.......THUMP to be overly stimulating and I could not relax. Since she was a sub for this session, I hope I don't have her again.

The facility needs massive renovation and a new ventilation system. Smells horribly there. The instructor was great. Will not be going back.

The classes get very crowded, it seems they do not cap their classes at all. Their booking website doesn't indicate how full each class or the capacity of each class either. The people who walk in a few minutes before class struggle to find spots in the studio and people have to move close enough to where it's uncomfortable for completing the workout. It's honestly kind of ridiculous. One class I attended had 39 people in the small studio

I’ve been with Core Power now about 5 years. I love the energy of the teachers here in San Diego. I love that I have so many choices of classes from C1, C2, HPF (my current favorite), yoga sculpt, core restore, and now a new fitness class coming this January.

I wish CorePower would have the sense to hire somebody to work the front desk. It’s extremely frustrating to race across town just to be met with a locked door if it’s 2 minutes after the start time. On top of that, the instructor made eye contact with me desperately knocking at the door and then turned away and ignored me. No studio I’ve EVER attended has this setup, it causes frustration and stress where it would otherwise be easily avoided. Now I’ve wasted my time and money, and the corporate giant of CP, who can easily afford extra staff, couldn’t care less.

one of the luxury of living near a yoga studio is walking there to workout on that nonexistent six pack. just don't forget to breathe...inhale & exhale...

This location was one of the nicer CorePower a I've been too. Also, Alyssa was so so so sweet to my family !
