This Costco deserves 3 stars alone due to the fact that it was Howard Hughes' airplane hangar a long time ago. That historical fact being said, I am a regular here and always find the service and selection to be top notch. Most of the staff recognize my wife and I when we walk in or walk out and are very friendly. I've never had any problems with unfriendly staff. Sure there are crowds here like any other Costco because Costco is a cool place to shop with very reasonable prices when you compare it to regular grocery stores. I would definitely recommend this Costco along with most of the others I've been to.

Costco prices are great if you have storage space for big buys. Beware of the prepared name-brand items. It is truly hit and miss for value and taste. Don't turn your nose up at the boxed wine. Really a spectacular value... Returns are easy once you've waited in line. The cheap gas is probably worth the membership alone.

This Costco saved me!!! Pharmacy is open till 830!!!I love the smell of a real Christmas tree. My fav is the Douglas fir, but they have noble fir. That's ok! I came for a tree! I feel like this Costco is calmer than the one I live by. But any Costco on the weekend is sheer insanity! Parking is beyond horrible here! Last year's story: They saved me and I was able to get a Christmas tree on their last day! They didn't have many left and at $80 tho!?! Geezy inflation is killing all things wonderful! I looked back at my photos a couple years back (2020)...$40 freaking dollars! Holy cannoli! Was it worth it?!? Yes, trees elsewhere were running $120-$150 for the exact same tree and ours is perfect this year! Really great looking tree. You can't "unpackage" it to see how it looks... you buy and go. That's it! I came by about 6:30 pm. I call ahead and she tells me there are 80 trees left... so by actual trees left, I was prob left with 50 trees left or less! We rush over and I run in to pay for a tree, while he looks for parking and that's it! I'm looking all doe eyed trying to figure out which tree I want. They all look the same...wrapped up, and ready to go! Employee was very nice. Came up to me and asked, You got a truck?!? I looked at him all wide eyed and said.... Ummm, no, I have a Tesla... the small one and smiled. He replied, I've seen it happen! :) Great! This year: Still $80! Staff again were super helpful. No opening of the tree to see how he looks before buying... but they go through a pre-screening process. We picked another beautiful tree! :) Happy holidays!

Wow! Are we sure this is Black Friday?! It's the quietest I've ever experienced and NO lines at 10:00AM! When we walked out about 20 minutes later, the parking lot was jammed with people and cars. We're so glad we came early. And, bonus, their Tom Turkeys were $25 off! We were able to grab one and paid $23 - woo hoo! Customer service was also very helpful and pleasant when I asked about getting my T-Mobile rebate I had been waiting on for about 10 months. Everyone wanted to help, but in the end, it was the supervisor who could only help. My apologies; I didn't get his name, but he had a blondish beard and a huge smile on his face. Thank you!

This is specifically in regard to the Costco Food Court on Morena Blvd.We have a big family and order a couple of whole pizzas from Costco every month. For the last 4 or 5 months, in spite of calling ahead and arriving at the pickup time, we (and many others, judging from the discontented discussions around us) still end up waiting 60-90 minutes. The staff handling the orders are harried and stressed, which is understandable, but they speak rudely to the customers, which isn't justified. The loudspeaker used for the whole pizza orders is too quiet, but the one used for the other orders is dangerously loud. Management should be taking SOME kind of measures to handle all of this. A few easily-implemented ideas could be that when a phone order is called in, give an accurate wait time. If hiring more staff is not an option, then remove whole pizzas from the menu during peak times. For the loudspeakers, find a happy medium and install another couple of ones out in the seating area. You all have disappointed so many people over the last many months. It didn't use to be this way.

RUINED MY WHEEL-Be sure to take before and after photos of your vehicle/wheels when you bring it in--I purchased 4 tires here on July and had put less than 1,000 miles on them when I got a nail in one of the tires which could not be patched. I took it back on 10/21/23 and the gentleman working graciously agreed to replace the tire for free rather than charging the prorated difference based on the treadwear I already used under the warranty. They ordered the tire and I returned today (10/27/23).A different person assisted me and when I told him the other employee previously agreed to replace the tire he had an attitude and seemed reluctant to honor the offer stating I should have to pay ~$60 because of the tread I used, but he saw that the employee ordered it based on 0% treadwear used as he said he would. Ultimately he agreed and they did not charge me for the tire.30 minutes later the tire is on and there is some odd residue and black marks that wont come off. There is also a large chip on one of the spokes. The tires had no prior damage. See photos for before and after.I hope Costco will make this right.

My kids were on their way back to Fargo with 2 cars yesterday evening. One car blew a tire, the other car had a flat outside of San Diego. I called this Costco shortly before 7pm, told them the situation and they said they would help if they could. One hour before closing, they made time and took care of both vehicles and got them out and back on the road the same evening.I can't tell you how much I appreciate you taking care of them, thank you so much!

This is the closest Costco to where I am located. Wish I was closer but a 15 minute drive isn't horrible for a Costco trip when I need it. It looks the same as any Costco but it is "longer" and laid out differently than most of the ones I've been to.Everything else is pretty much the same as any other Costco in the area. Getting gas here is so much more organized and easier compared to the Mission Valley location, I actually refuse to get gas at the Mission Valley Costco because of how long the line always is.The reason I'm giving 5 stars is mostly because I discovered how good the book selection can be here! I read popular books trending on Bookstagram and Booktok and always assumed Costco would never carry those. But I took a peek today out of curiosity and saw a few books of that type! A lot of Colleen Hoover too. The books were priced near $11. THAT'S SO GOOD. A book I saw for $10.99 today is $13 on Amazon and $17 at traditional bookstores. Will definitely be coming to Costco more when I need another book to read!

My car entered the Tire Center with a flat tire and 4 hubcaps, and it exited with a fixed tire but only 3 hubcaps. They refused to acknowledge that they lost/broke the missing hubcap and didn't refund it.Sloppy and unprofessional!

Costco inside an old industrial warehouse(s) is the best way to describe this particular Costco. Almost all Costco's look alike inside and out. Not this one! Located inside a series of connected warehouses, this Costco is an "anomaly". It is very long and narrower than the traditional stores it is interesting. But inside - it is still the same old store!

Starting with the good: you can get very highly rated tires at a relatively good price. The price is similar to what you pay outside for lower speed rating tires. That's where the good things end. From there it is downhill. This is a summary of 10+ years of experience:- you have to wait a long time to get specific tires shipped. A couple of weeks is long on a spare tire.- you have to schedule the install, and they are always busy. Sometimes, they miss calling you about your tire arrival. Check your email and their websiteS. Yes, there is a separate website for reservations.- if you're late a few minutes, they are sometimes rude and try to push you out. If you insist to stay in-line, you will get through with a bit of delay. They are more rude when they are more busy.- they play every trick to avoid warranty. Uneven wear "prevents" them from rotating. No rotation often "voids" their warranty. It's too close to the limit. One of the tires is "bald" on one side. I had to bring my own measurement tool once to disagree.- Hole too big to fix.- You have to change all 4 tires.- during covid, i didn't drive much. The highly rated tires lasted only 20k when they should have lasted 60k. Then all the exceptions above apply + installed long time ago.- one of my cars disappeared from their system. I will have to find the old paperwork...=> in sum, if you want highly rated tires installed, this is the place to do it.=>After that, you're better off going elsewhere, even to continue the service on your "uneven" tires, and get some respect.

Great, honest experience with them. No hassle, friendly guys, in and out in 1.5 hours for a set of four new tires (at a great price) and the warranty is fire. My recommendation- if you’re a walk-in, show up EARLY. If not, make an appointment. They’re busy, and they do the best they can. You’d be busy too if you offered what Costco does! Have some patience and give the employees some grace.

I ordered two tires from Costco online. From the factory my car uses bigger tires in the back than in the front. When the tires finally arrived after two weeks they said the couldn't get me an appointment for several days to do the install. When I showed up for my appointment the manager had terrible customer service and a short mans syndrome, he was extremely rude. He tried to force me to buy two more tires or they would not install the rear tires, even though the front tires were still new and a totally different size than the rear. I pre-paid for the tires and installation, so I asked them to refund the installation and give me the tires so I could have them installed somewhere else. They said if I take the tires they would refuse to honor the 50,000 mile factory warranty on the tires. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE!!! THEY ARE JERKS AND SCAMMERS!!!

Come on Costco, I've been coming here since it was Price Club and have always loved it....but what is UP with the customer service...tonight was the 3rd time recently that the cashier has had a bad attitude...why, why, why? I'm a 63 year old NICE person...but too many of you guys are just being mean and sarcastic in a not helpful way. Do better Costco!!!
