The front desk personnel were ALWAYS friendly and willing to help. The food from the Bistro Bar was pretty good. The hot breakfast buffet was worth the $15 with pretty good, normal choices with sausage AND BACON!!! ?I do wish the doors closed more quietly if that is possible or that my neighbor had a sense of courtesy to not let his door slam EVERY SINGLE TIME.The room was very clean and smelled good; very important to me. The AC worked very well, but I couldn't find a way to have the fan continuously blow for air circulation...and the noise to help me sleep. The pool was heated, and they had a very cool fire pit that radiated nice heat if you sat in the chairs in front of it. There were several televisions around the Bistro Bar with different shows on, which was nice also.

This hotel offers pretty solid lodging accommodations. In general, I'm not a fan of these new style, big corporate business park 5 story hotels, however, this particular Marriott is substantively above par. Reasonable rates (for San Diego) friendly, responsive, and very amenable staff and overall service. Impeccably clean and modern rooms, albeit a bit small, and an ideal central location between SD and North County. As long as you are able to get a reasonable rate on a room, it's definitely worth staying here.

Paper thin walls! Excellent service from everyone. Extremely dark rooms with the blackout curtains. The walls are super thin tho. No hot tub. IF traveling for hockey with your team, ask the front desk for a conference room for knee hockey and they will make it happen. Breakfast was good, a lot of options.Rooms: Super thin walls. Extremely Dark with the blackout curtains. Some rooms have a balcony.

If you are traveling for business or with kids who need wifi, this is NOT the location you want. The staff is very friendly and helpful but they need a new Internet provider. I had to go to Starbucks and the library to do my work. I will never stay here again. The WiFi is close to non existent, staying here put me behind on my work. As an ambassador elite member this was very disappointing. I stay at Marriotts more than I’m in my own home and this was one of the worst experiences business wise.Noteworthy details: The WiFI is unacceptable, something MUST be done

Overall we have definitely stayed at better courtyards in the past- but this one wasn't terrible. The room isn't very big, it had a long hallway and then a close together king bed couch desk and tv in the main area, the bed wasn't very comfortable either. The patio our room had was by far my favorite spot! When we got our room our AC unit wasn't working (we are from MI so I wanted the AC here in January) but we let the staff know while we were out the next day and it was fixed by the time we came backThe bathroom was pretty nice in this hotel, the room itself seemed to be cleaned good as well but we just have had better experiences elsewhere before.

Huge thanks to Micheal, Eve, Kendra, Alex, (I know I left off some staff) please forgive me.Rooms: Rooms were clean. All needs had been met.

Unclean hotel. Stain marks on towels and floors. Windows are thin so there’s noise from the street. Also floor above was undergoing some repairs, so there was disturbance. Breakfast was paid and seemed very limited.

I just checked-in to my room and I must say the customer service I received from Sabrina was incredible. She noticed I have 2 young kids (ages 1 and 3) and gave them each a toy duck for the bathtub. Sometimes it’s the little things that make a difference. I appreciate the hospitality Sabrina. Thank you!

This is very centrally located in San Diego if you're doing tech work or going to a conference. Plenty of food options near by.

Staying here for a basketball tourney. Hotel has been wonderful. Have to write a shout out for Gino who is/was working the Bistro restaurant. He is hands down the best! We had about 30 people arrive at 8pm looking for food and drinks and he alone covered us all! Hotel is clean and rooms sizable and very comfortable. Thank you!
