I give this place 5 stars because I am enjoying every single time I go here for the CrossFit class. Everyone is very kind and willing to help. I'm new so was a little nervous but I will definitely be a long term member. I've had classes with Ricardo and Robert and both are excellent trainers and I feel like they really care about guiding us through the workout.

This place is wonderful. Not only is the staff amazingly supportive in that they adjust workouts to meet your needs but the fellow members are positive minded folks and have a team mentality. Absolutely pleased.

Wonderful experience. I bought a Groupon for my son 6 year old son's birthday. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a great time. The whole place has a really friendly vibe. Makes you want to spend time there and get in shape.

I've been a member for quite sometime. The coaches are their to help and know their stuff. Right when you walk into the gym you instantly feel like you belong. If you're looking for a gym with great coaches and community, drop in!

Yo the nicest people in the gym Literally is the lady that owns the place and one guy that helps everyone in the gym with their workout. He’s awesome. The rest are not very cool these people have been working out with each other for years and have a real clique vibe... So if one person doesn’t like you good luck haha

This place is cool. I like the idea of going to classes with coaches who can help you it's definitely more motivating than a traditional gym. Only cons are that it's pretty pricey considering they don't have many class times, there's also definitely a sense of favoritism with the owners and the members(I didn't feel as welcomed when I first joined as how I saw they treated others who joined), and lastly they had one coach that seemed like somewhat of a lunatic. This big tatt'ed guy seemed like if you did anything to piss him off he would snap in a second. I know because I've seen it. I also occasionally would overhear him bad mouth people including the owners. I don't think someone as bipolar and unprofessional as him should be teaching classes cause it's a bad look and makes members uncomfortable. No one wants to be part of a gym where you're scared to ask for help or say anything b/c they have a bipolar person coaching but aside from that, this place has great potential just needs some polishing.

I originally visited in search of a new gym. Although I could have gone and dropped in at the well known crossfit boxes out here in San Diego, I decided to give Crossfit fortius south a shot. My first reaction was the amount of space there was for the athletes. I fell in love with the weightlifting area and the platforms. The one thing that stood out the most was CLo and Ale. They made me feel welcomed upon meeting and made me feel as if I was part of the gym. I was instantly sold! The community that crossfit fortius south has is energetic and welcoming. If anyone is looking for a gym with that home-y feel, definitely give crossfit fortius south a try. Thank you Ale and CLo, fortius south fam and coaches for taking me in and helping with my gains and PRs!
