I have been going to this Pharmacy for about 10 years Stephanie is fantastic. She has a great smile and has excellent customer service. She always makes me feel welcome and answers all of my questions. There's a gentleman there. I believe his name is Daniel and he is also really good. Unfortunately, on this day I had the pleasure of being helped by Janine. She was very snippy rude, not friendly at all. She has helped me in the past and has been okay for the most part. However, on this day I swear she was on crystal meth or something. The way she was moving her mouth and gums when she's on the computer. I thought to myself. She's definitely on something. I grew up in East county and have seen meth users in the past. and her actions, demeanor and personality. Fit the bill 100%. I hope none of you have to deal with this especially if she treats you the way she treated me. Lastly, drugs are bad for your health. It makes you age. Say no to drugs people.

My husband and I just had our Covid 19 shots at this pharmacy and we're very pleased and impressed with Sal, who administered our painless vaccines in a highly professional and personal manner. Highly recommend him and this facility.

I am becoming a fan of cvs because of the coupons and discounts you get in store and on back of the receipts. They could use a designer to spruce up the place but I am a visual person and I like the store so I overlook this. Mary

Janine at the pharmacy is nice. She assisted me with getting my prescription and she left such a lasting impression that I'm still thinking about how nice she was several hours ago.

This is an overdue review, as I've been using this pharmacy as my go-to. This past week, the lead pharmacist here went above and beyond to fix a medication issue I was having. This was a time sensitive issue, as I was headed out for travel and was concerned about not having enough of a medication I need on that trip (and beyond that trip). Having the medication to take with me made a night and day difference, and the fact that the team there took it seriously and acted so quickly was very much appreciated.

dont choose this pharmacy!!! They say the insurance system is down and force you to pay cash and promise a refund. Then, refuse to refund you at a later date.

CVS San Carlos, Jackson Dr, San Diego. I want to thank The Pharmacist Daniel.. He went out of his way and to great lengths to refill my px when other CVS's was out of stock. I want to mention that he is also very handsome. I will as well thank his wonderful staff at pharmacy, staff in store and all the nice customers I met. I will be back!

Do not ever use this Pharmacy!!!! I have a medication I've been on for six years. I filled it on the 20th and I wanted to pick it up on the 19th. They said they couldn't fill it without my doctor calling it in the lead pharmacist and his helper are incompetent and not helpful!! Take your business elsewhere. Trust me it'll save you time.

Although not the stores, fault, CVS corporate needs to work on things. Scheduled an appointment for a vaccine checked in but people who had walked in before me were giving their vaccines first and I was required to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time to get my vaccine because the computer didn't let them know that I had an appointment.

This is the absolute worst pharmacy in the history of the world. It is a complete shit show run by clowns. Every single time I have been there it has been some sort of issue from giving me incorrectly mixed medicine, to telling me my order is ready when it definitely is not, to just completely terrible customer service. It's always something! These people do not care about you! Keep your sanity and stay away from this dumpster fire of a pharmacy.

This is the location to go if you want to be told "no" and looked at like you've done something wrong for submitting a prescription submitted by your physician without paying $500.00. No assistance in figuring out why the drug manufacturer's coupon isn't working in THEIR system. Gave up and went to Rite-Aid Lake Murray with NO ISSUES AT ALL! Been a loyal CVS-er for many many years. DONE! Also, for CVS corporate... STOP INSTALLING GROSS CARPET IN YOUR RETAIL STORES! It is disgusting! #riteaid #nocvs

I wanted to use this CVS for 1 hr photos since the store on Friars Rd no longer has a photo dept. I usually only order a few and most of the time, I go to pick up before the hour is up and the photos are ready. Not with this store. Waited over 1-1/2 hrs and never got the email that they were ready. Figured they missed the cue, so went in. I ordered 7 prints and they weren't ready. The guy calls a manager. 10 mins later, still don't have an answer or my pics. Walked out of the store. Get a call from the manager while driving home. I told her never mind, going to use a different store. She constantly interrupts me while I'm trying to get the words out, now I'm p.o.'d as well as frustrated. I tell her I will never come back to this CVS, but she is still interrupting me. I hang up. She calls again and I don't answer. Then I get a text. Ridiculous! I will never go back!!

Not sure what's going on with the pharmacy but been experiencing issues in the past 10 months. It may have to do with corporate changes or other issues, because previously I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Now they're-- the opposite. Overworked? Bad corporate policies? I don't know. It does seem like their computer system might be different and causing the people working there to make errors. -Twice stopped there a couple days after a doctor visit where the doctor sent in the script in front of me to this CVS-- it hadn't been flagged to fill and they had me wait to fill it. I told the pharmacist that this was happening and she said it wasn't their fault, but it should be filled when the doctor sends it in.-My insurance changed (through a different employer but same insurance) and mine got updated and my kids' didn't. When I went to fill my daughter's prescription it was pricey (like $65 as opposed to $15 for a generic) and the guy told me my insurance didn't cover much. Thought that was weird. My daughter changed prescriptions yesterday and the price for another generic was $80. Again, the clerk just said, "Your insurance doesn't cover it." Not that she had no insurance on file, which was the true statement. The price should be $15 through insurance. Got that rectified today. -They filled the wrong mg of my daughter's new prescription (a couple months ago) and the pharmacist tried to blame me until she went into the system and found it was their error. -Tried to get a baby aspirin refilled and the clerk told me, "You know you can just get that in the store, why are you getting it here?" I said I knew but my copay was 0 for that med. And it was. Like, why do you care if I'm getting it through a prescription? (I don't think that particular clerk works there anymore).-When I tried to get a birth control prescription filled here, they had to order it and then were going to charge something like $180. Previously, the order had been filled by ABC Pharmacy in Laguna Hills, who took care of the coupon for me and had free home delivery. At CVS they told me I'd have to call the company and find out about the coupon and get the number and bring it back and do all the work the other pharmacy had done. So I just asked my doctor to transfer it back to the original pharmacy. I have a 0 out of pocket there. And their phone system is now incredibly cumbersome to navigate, which is absolutely a corporate issue.

I went to buy 12-pack of blue moon in this CVS store, it was on sale for $9.99 this saleswoman told me to pay $19.99 twice more than sale price, was very rude , I showed her sales tag but she said it does not mean anything to her and said she was the chief boss who makes decisions , what kind of drugstore is this? how could she make decisions against CVS rules?
