Its kind of sad what has become of this store. Used to be a great place to shop. Now with everything locked up behind security doors, it is a really unpleasant experience. If you want anything someone has to come and bring a key, open the door up and then you can get your item. If you are trying to buy multiple items you have to keep going to the front of the store to find someone to open the door for you. Big hassle and you just end up not getting everything you need because its locked down like Fort Knox in there. Too bad all the shoplifting has kind of wrecked this store.

Pretty standard CVS, although I shouldn't have to explain why I want assistance checking out instead of using the self-checkout. I'm not impressed with the interaction I just had with the front-end associate.

CVS has gone from a great store to a state of confusion and poor service. There is a poor service attitude and they are bottle necked at self check out with many customers having difficulty with the machines. Staff seems poorly trained and educated. Overall CVS is a mere shadow of a formerly well run pharmacy.

I have a broken ankle. Called to have Rx delivered pharmacy rep took cc info, address for delivery asked if wanted Rx today or tomorrow said today. Called several hours later to find out time for delivery as text received Rx ready for pick up. Was then told Rx not able to be delivered. Was too late to see if those I knew would be able to pick up. Uber refused to pick up as did not order Rx thru their app. If person I originally spoke to knew their job could have had enough time to have someone pick it up. Thanks? in pain I can't drive not supposed to walk. I'll go elsewhere from now on. Have been on hold 1/2 hour now. Customer service? Don't use this pharmacy as you may talk to someone who has no idea of what they are talking about not Worth the risk. Very disappointed

horrible service went in today and needed help but a staff worker by the name of Carolina was extremely rude and unhelpful. if i could give zero stars i would . she made my cvs trip difficult and doesn’t deserve to work there, and i have heard from a few close friends that they’ve also had bad experiences with this certain worker

The don’t respect their own hours. They were closing at 10 not 11pm as listed on google. Then we get there at 9:50 to buy some bandaids and it is already locked up?!

One star because manager is rude and confrontational without provocation. Cashier and other emploees were super nice.

Sunny is the go-to person for all of your makeup and self-care! She is marvelous and I am so happy that I found her as she used to do my makeup at Nordstrom many years ago... Lovely and kind staff who are very patient.

I shop at the CVS on Eads in La Jolla. In the beauty department an employee named Sunny knows so much about makeup that I no longer shop at Nordstrom for all my needs. She knows everything and is always aware of the latest looks.

Jeffrey NGUYEN (head pharmacist) is the most inconsiderate and rude manager I have ever encountered at a CVS location. I highly recommend not to work with him. I notice a lot of bad reviews related to his ill mannered behavior which doesn't surprise me.

I would like to commend Alec a cashier at LJ CVS. He took the time to help me get my medicine when I became confused with the self check out. He's a keeper.

Do not recommend this CVS pharmacy for vaccines. Made an appointment for a vaccine in the early afternoon for that evening. CVS accepted the appointment and took my phone number and email to send notifications, and sent a confirmation of the appointment. Arrived at the appointment on time only to be told they ran out. Walk-ins are fine, but CVS should save enough vaccines for those with appointments or timely notify patrons that they ran out before they arrive at the pharmacy. Scheduling is done by computer bots so it’s not that difficult. Will try the Pavilions/Vons pharmacy right around the corner next time.

I had the WORST POSSIBLE experience at this CVS Pharmacy. The Pharmacist known as J. Nguyen will greet you in disrespectful manner. He will also talk down to you when asked about questions regarding your prescription. He is an ill mannered individual who lacks common courtesy & LACKS human decency. I’ve personally reached out to Corporate in regards to this specific pharmacist from this location. I hope future customers do not share the same experience I had with this pharmacist. CVS needs to urgently remove Nguyen from their pharmacy team. Unbelievable
