Blown away by how rude I was just treated. Came in like usual to get my meds that have been ready for pickup and there was no one in line. The cashier lady looked me in the eyes, pushed a button and closed a gate door in my face and said sorry closed for lunch. I understand lunch and I understand customer service. It would have taken them 30 seconds to handle this but they didn't even give me a chance to say hello and rudely closed that gate in my face. I just stared at them in disbelief as they said come back later. After today, switching pharmacies.

Go somewhere else!!! Do not come here for anything. Pharmacy is a joke with super long lines of homeless people trying to get drugs. It's so dirty in here you step in trash or stains with every step.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME I came in today to buy grenadine for a Shirley Temple for a Valentine's Day themed party. The cashier at the front told me I needed an ID to purchase. Wouldn't even tell me what age the ID needed to say. Last time I checked you don't need an ID to purchase non alcoholic SYRUPS. Frustrated and wasted my time. Also, went to Vons and had no trouble purchasing over there. Don't waste ur time here, they were rude and ridiculous.

So i was the CVS at college in El Cajon? I wanted to get a string of Christmas lights. I go up to the cash register. No one was in line, That's great. Three cash registers are open. The three cashiers are talking to each other completely ignoring me. I waited a couple of minutes. I said excuse me. Is anyone checking anyone out here and one woman said "just just give me a minute I have to finish my conversation". I put the box of lights on the counter and said "finish that conversation" and walked out of the store.

I have now been in line 3 times today alone because they can't get organized. They couldn't find the prescription then said it can't be filled because it won't be ready for 5 days even though it's an antibiotic after surgery. Now they finally figure it out and can't find it. They made me get back in line again. Then they forget to ring me up for everything. Stay away.

As of 8/19/23, prices are inflated, and nearly everything is cheaper on Amazon. Plus, CVS doesn't do price matching. Be a smart consumer.

To preface this, the staff was nice. I got sick and went to pick up my medicine here. They weren’t able to process my insurance due to technical difficulties and I had to pay full price for medication. I understand that issue holds no single person to blame, but standing around with a fever/fatigue then paying full price for medicine sucks.

It's always kind of bizarre to me when I see such a low rating for places like CVS or any other drugstore. I mean, it's a drugstore, what do you really expect from it? Since Rite Aid down the street closed and became a makeshift, impromptu, and illegal homeless hangout, this became the place I started to come to for simple necessities that I need faster than an Amazon Prime delivery. It's not a Target, it's not a grocery store, it's a drugstore. Who hangs out and actually spends any significant amount of time walking the aisles? Yeah, NOBODY! Hence I can't believe the passionate words stabilizing the low reviews. You go in, you grab what you need, you pay, you leave... that's it. Pop in for odds and end that you need in a pinch, this place is just fine.

They never restock medication. They tell you your medication is refilled when it isnt. They dont contact your doctor for refills. They should shut this pharmacy down.

In the pharmacy section, they are massively understaffed. This means they make absurd mistakes, and everything takes longer than it should -- leading to problems (sometimes serious problems) for the patient.Case in point -- I have a recurring prescrescription that manages a chronic problem. I ran out of refills on it, so about 10 days ago, I asked CVS to contact the doctor's office. They claim that they contacted the doctor's office at least three times. The doctor's office has no record of this, or of ANYONE calling about me or this prescription. The doctor's office is very kindly helping to fix the mess that CVS caused, and I will eventually get my medication again.But I have run out of medication, and it will be a couple of days at best before I can get my medicine again. So I am forced into withdrawal from it - and I will suffer the consequences because CVS screwed up and then lied to me about it.

Horrible. Called two hours ahead about my prescriptions. Went to pick them up and they were still not filled and that we should come back in 30 minutes. Bought something from the freezer that had been obviously been to room temperature and back to frozen. Bought a sparkling water, went to open it and it was completely flat. Moving to another pharmacy.

I highly recommend filling your prescriptions at any other CVS, Rite Aid, Target, or other pharmacy location. Not only does this pharmacy team lack total regard for bedside manner, I've never seen a lazier team of people refusing to do their job or extend correct information to patients. My father passed recently, and I've not been treated worse or more like an addict for requesting an early refill of a small, low-dose anti-anxiety medication. Not only this, but the techs will ask you invasive and, frankly, inappropriate questions regarding the reasoning for the prescription and why you're seeking care/medication from your doctor. If you go against better judgment and fill your rx here you'll need to be persistent in asking for help, understanding, or requests for them do their actual jobs.

Doesn't seem to be open 24 hours. Came at 12 just to see the last two workers leaving. at least care enough to update your hours online so people don't waste their time
