This store was very helpful and was well stocked. Lisa in the Health & Beauty Department was very helpful shopping cosmetic things. I definitely do appreciate her kindness. I do recommend this CVS.......

Lisa is the best employee there. She is in cosmetics but she goes out of her way to help me and others out. She shows you with all the coupons how to get as many savings as possible. She is by far the best customer service person I have ever seen! She is delightful and caring. She should give a class on how to be the best in Customer Service.

One of the worst. Showed to pick up a prescription of 3 items, was told two are ready the other one needs 15 minutes, came back after 15 minutes was told one is ready the other two needs more time; The pharmacy manager then told me to come back after an hour and he’s not responsible of what his staff told me since it wasn’t him who I spoke to the first two times.

Tried going about 10 mins before closing, which I know is annoying in most cases, but I was just getting milk which shouldn’t take me more than 5 minutes. Got there and doors were closed and the guy on the other side of the door just motioned that they were closed

I would really recommend store management addressing professionalism with pharmacy employees. The one I worked with was in baggy jeans and a tee which made me very uncomfortable as this person was handling my prescription and made the pharmacy as a whole seem very unprofessional. The employees all seemed young and were cracking jokes with each other while tending to guests. I’m all for a healthy and positive work environment but this felt like immature kids horsing around and simultaneously running a pharmacy. I honestly couldn’t believe my eyes. I think dress code as a bare minimum should be enforced for anyone handling regulated drugs. Great for employees to enjoy their workplace, but keep it professional when interfacing with customers and the jokes behind the scenes.

The worst pharmacy ever!! The old white lady with the top snap on Veneers. She wasted my time for over an hour. The urgent care next door sent my prescription to my pharmacy that was closed. I asked them to send it to the pharmacy next door. This cvs stays open later. The lady said she didn’t have my prescription. I go back to urgent care and they said that they definitely have it. For me to go back and show them my form. I go back show her the form. She says she didn’t see it, I said I know that’s what I said to them. She just walks away gets on the phone and starts talking to someone giving them my information. She was on the phone for 40 minutes. I stood there waiting with my 5 year old. She says 40 minutes on the phone with them and like I said I can’t process your prescriptions but you can pay for them. Then maybe if the other pharmacy cancels, you can go through your insurance for a refund. All while I’m in so much pain with a horrible earache. She was so rude and a waste of time. I will never go to that pharmacy again!!!

Came to this store for some emergency necessities for my pregnant wife and I wasn’t really sure about it based on the location but when I came in (Olivia) was so kind and helpful. She guided me to the things I need so fast and even helped me pick the right things for my pookie bear. She is a real star of the store! And her padres sweater! AMAZING! Go padres & the cvs on balboa!

“My CVS” is the best. The one in Balboa and Gennessy in Clairemont, San Diego. All employees are helpful. Employees drop what they are doing to help. I especially enjoy Lisa in the cosmetics dept. She tries her products herself and is knowledgeable enough to give great suggestions.

Treated like garbage. There was 1 cashier. He was a younger guy and had combed back hair and cheap tattoos. I was next in line and he took a phone call and 2 customers behind me on another register. I asked very nicely if I could please just pay and go since I've been waiting in line. He snapped and me that I had to wait because he was busy. I was not the cause of his bad day, I'm not sure why he thought so but I won't be returning,
